Would love to know more about JoJo’s additional needs/special characteristics if he’s ever like to talk about it, he’s such an interesting little guy. Love how active he is, he’s such a kind heartened little boy:)
Amongst other things, I've got hypermobility, Autism, Hyper/hypo processing sensory disorder and am on the diagnostic pathway now for ADHD, the way Jojo's always moving/jumping off things and so forth, reminds me of me and I'm 23. Loved this video! Oh and who doesn't like to live in comfort though, me pretty much 24/7?❤️

If Jojo likes pressure have a look at weighted blankets. They aren't cheap but you can possibly make them if you are at all creative.
I just layer three duvets and lots of blankets, as my blanket stays at school

i had extra needs as a child too and was in ot! I would jump off high places too, i still remember learning to jump.
I really hope people refrain from making comments about jojos behaviour now you have given an explanation, really nice of you to open up about such private/personal information. It has probably been quite hurtful reading some of the comments in the past,hopefully that will stop now,sending lots of love xx
I think it's really helpful to other additional needs families when someone with a platform speaks out. I've seen comments about Jojos behaviour on here and elsewhere loads of times and based on my own daughter could see a lot of her in JoJo. Hopefully people understand now and will back off. He's such a lovely and bright little boy!

@@FamilyFreedom as a parent it is heart wrenching when people make negative comments about out children, our job is to love and protect them and we cherish them with all our heart and nothing would hurt me more than someone making a not so nice comment about one of my son's, you have dealt with it on each occasion with such dignity and I commend you for not feeding the negativity. Jojo is actually one of the most polite well spoken children I have come across in a long while,more people should look at the good in someone rather than the opposite.well done for bringing up such well adjusted,bright,kind children,they are a credit to you xx (I know Sam and Jamie are hardly children anymore!!) Xx

It sounds like ADHD. I had the same needs as a kid but now I am an adult it has changed to ADD as that is what normally happens.
Hi FreeGang Leaders (nyuk nyuk nyuk), Since I grew up in a friendly, slightly mad, extremely funny, welcoming, optimistic, energetic, helpful and loving family, I find you guys quite 'normal'. I think we all project. Because of that whenever someone says someithing extremely negative to me about me, it pains me to think "This person must have those terrible ideas eating away at them" I also enjoy helping others. Amy H Fair enough, I'm a Habilitation Technician and I work with children with dual diagnosis (psychiatric diagnosis and mental handicaps) I have never witnessed an autistic child that made such eye contact and was so openly affectionate as Jojo. Perhaps that is due to the mental deficiencies of my clientele. So not to say that situation doesn't exist. What are the characteristics you see in Jojo that led you to suspect autism?
At my school my class has movement breaks but me and my bff leave more often because it's more harder btw JoJo's communication skills are actually really good
Do you have a trampoline for Jojo? In the States they have started having Ninja warriors classes for kids, an obstacle challenge course, maybe they have something like that for him by you.
I've seen another family do these and it looks great!

My little brother is similar, he goes to occupational therapy and is a huge sensory seeker, as well as having asd & gdd, and he’s always spinning - that’s his favourite! Hey I know how jojo fills I have special need and austic things need to be simple I now 24 I had really hard time in school cause I couldn't stay in chair or stop moving they got really angry at me all time then made me angry then I go into upset cause I dont like shouting I went to a normal school I was buily me all time and just used to get so angry they have to hold me now or put me in a room to calm down. Jojo your doing great keep up your work

Mine was the question about school. I'm Mum of a child with additional needs who has occupational therapy too. Thank you for answering even though it's obviously personal. I can see a lot of my girl when she was younger in Jojo and wanted to say I think you are doing a great job, he's a lovely little boy and clearly pretty smart. If I had my time again I would absolutely home school my girl.
As someone who is special needs I appreciate how you treat jojo like “normal” I met you in real life and you didn’t force me to look at you or make me feel weird for being bad at communicating!!
Also about being gay, do you support trans people? if not why, I’m happy to educate you on it

@@ameliaruby5892 Please don't say that some people have not made the connection, some people can't due to family medical reasons, some people eat animal and don't hate animals they just like the taste of meat, which is the reality of the situation, which sucks but Is true, people are working towards changes like so many people are going vegan now and food is getting better and better, please try help people and don't be rude about it, I was like you when I first became vegan, believe me its frustrating knowing animals were brutally killed just for someone satisfaction, but be nice and understand, people are more likely to make a change when it's nicer and does not seem like such a track, hope this helped, not a lecture and i am a vegan

Comfort comes first in my book everytime:)..Sunday`s are my lounge wear/PJ days ,we all need one day to wind down ,and just have some "me time". I did wonder if Jo Jo had adhd ,as he`s very smart ,and needs to be on the go all the time.Nobody can say how tough it can be when your child has extra/special needs ,unless they`ve been there. Oh ,one question.If you weren`t doing youtube ,what would you be doing? Also ,where`s the nicest place in the world you`ve visited? Thanks ,and ,thanks for the smiles:)x
I am not sure if it is something that Jojo would like, but there is something called a gravity blanket and it gives you some pressure that helps with feeling safe. I think i have got it right. I hope it may help. I love your video's xx
