    I am guessing part of the science of repetition is to program your muscle memory to a point where your body does those steps autonomously. Its why you do these step by steps. This is a very good way of learning. Thumbs up. 8)

      Good that you understood this approach. Repetitions generate muscle memory and right coordination.

    This project is not only about doing the moves. The idea is to learn to set specific targets, learn to go beyond the comfort zone. This way of training requires patience but it will give in return mastery and certainty of the moves people are doing.
    ... not necessarily the easiest, the coolest but it is one that works!

    I'm stuck on step 10, i don't have the flexibility like you, but still trying, but trying to do it while in a standing In upright position to get momentum. For 2 months now step 10.I don't think I need help, but I just need to not give up at this point, which is kind of hard at age 48. But I'll do my best not to give up.

    HOLY CRAP!!! I have been doing airflare for a year and was stuck on just one i could not even try to go for a second one!! I saw this video and I really did not want to start over so i kept doing the airflare entrance my way, but then i figured, maybe i should just hold the position after i try airflare in my own entrance AND IT WORKED! I DID AIRFLARE TO FLARE!! THANK YOU GUINHO I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO YOU!! YOU'RE SUCH A GENIUS! I thought in this I had to start over!! If you've been stuck at one airflare for a long time, you should really do step 9, you can still do the airflare throwdown as how you used to!! I was stubborn and did not believe him but it actually works!!!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove

    Yes! The logic is that by doing the same exercise around 2000 times during 2 weeks you will develop the conditioning and resistance on your body to learn e.g airflare in the right way.
    If you train the steps exactly as suggested you are not likely to fail...just follow the steps and within some months you will be doing airflares.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This is the way I learned almost everything for my reserse side. And the good news is that my training was not as systemitized as that. For example, I usually did 100 of the exercises per day, Sometimes 4 days a week, sometimes 5 or 3 and yet i learned around 6 airflares in 6 months. This means that the learning system in this video is more coherent, exact and this is the reason I am sure that anyone willing to follow these steps will develop it.

    I myself learned like this and so did other people in Brazil.
    Very recently, a kid sent me a video responde saying "I finally got 2 airflares" and he said this method really worked for me.
    He claimed that he had only done 400 of the exercises but this was enough to give him enough strength in his leg allowing him to do 2 turns in the airflare in which he had difficulties before.
    I will soon post a video explaining this idea better how it works so that people can underestand it better.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Josue carlos! You are the first person in my life who says if it is possible to do sets of 50. This is too much to do in a row.
    The idea of doing sets of 5 is that you hold your leg in the air for 5 seconds. Logically, if you trained 50 you should hold your legs for 50 seconds in the end.
    However, you can do sets of 10 and hold your leg for 10 seconds. This exercise is also supposed to be slow not fast. Keep this in mind!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    A good point and it might be a wast of time indeed for the following:
    - When people do the exercises they notice their body becomes light fast and many learn faster than that. (WHICH IS BETTER)
    - The most important are the first steps until one gets 2 or 3 rounds. Then people can take off and train in their own way..learn more turns than suggested.
    However, we still preferred to systematize this approach until step 4 just to guide those who prefer it in this way. But you are right!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Keep in mind that many people learned using these methods already, especially in Brazil in which we systematized this approach.
    200 per day is one number that is more than enough to develop the necessary strength to get the moves conditioning. For example, many people might be able to do only 100 per day and yet learn but then again I cannot guarantee that by doing less than 200 will work in the best way...

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I saw your video and your third attempt was the best because you were able to swing your body a bit longer on your right arm before throwing yourself.
    But actually, you can follow all the steps from this tutorial and continue to train your airflare the same way you are training. (you can for example do 200 times the exercises of step 1 and in the end try your airflare 50 times) put a focus on holding your body longer on your right arm be throwing it.
    Hope to have helped!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes. The airflare shown in this tutorial in clockwise. So if you are righter simply reverse the legs of the exercises. It is the same principle.
    Thank you!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    YES! You can do that but remember to do the exercises slowly and to stretch a lot otherwise you will get some cramps.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think you are very smart guy to have suggested this "title" and I appreciate that.
    There are two elements to consider here with the name "science" though.
    First, so far everyone who followed this approach learned the moves in Brazil where we started applying.
    We name it science because our claim is that anyone who follows exactly what we suggest will learn. I might really change the title until one follows exactly the steps as suggested and yet fail.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    if it hurts a lot you need to stop...if it is light you have to stretch your wrist before more and more...and train the exercises until you see it bears.
    Thank you!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your logic is correct. If you double the numbers it is possible to learn in 3 months. There is no golden rule which says "one should learn it in 6 months".
    6 months was a time that we found reasonable to learn a move like "airflare" because 200 per day demands a lot from your body.
    However, if you are able to manage 400 a day you will likely learn much faster. The single and most important thing Id say is: do the exercises right..dont lift your leg too fast just to complete 400 in a hurry.

      hey bro I agree. training different disciplines really helps make your body well rounded. though you have to chose a focus and be selective of what you practice so your training in a functional way towards your goal
      Complimenting a fast dynamic practice like bboying with a slow conscious one like yoga really helps improve body awareness. My footwork improved so much after my hip flexibility increased and my movement is smoother after I let go of unnecessary holding and was aware of only what i needed to engage
      For airflares this video in combination with "Airflare Exercises ( bboy yujeen )" look like two really brilliant resources to train the necessary strength and coordination for airflares

    • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
      @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mayan Patel Very well said. This is what this project is all about.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Bboy Nugget! Thank you for your video. Your airflare is on the right track. Your second turn in the airflare goes down simply because you need more practice.
    If I were you I would do this: Follow the steps 1, 2, 3 and 7 of this video. Try to do 2000 as suggested. Then you train your airflare again. Your legs will become so light that your body will naturally ask to do 2,3 or even more turns in the airflare.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    it is possible! But it is good that you have a break of around 20/30 minutes before training the second move. Otherwise, train one move in the different times...for instance, flare in the morning and airflare in the evening.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can do that. Of course! The problem is that it may demand a lot from your legs. For example, 200 is already an intensive number but if you manage to do 600 in a day, you will surely learn much faster.
    If you want to put the 3 steps in one day try to do in the following way:
    Do 200 of step 1...then have a 15 or 20 minutes break..stretch your body, relax a lot then go to step 2.
    From step 2 to 3 you should take around 20 or 30 minutes break.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I believe that some people can learn much faster without needing necessarily to go through all the steps but then it is up to individuals. I think people should use this tutorial to satisfy their needs by selecting what is relevant from it and figuring out how their body is feeling.
    Exercises will only help irrespective of what you train, how you train. By training the exercises for the airflare all other moves you train will get better naturally because your legs become lighter as a whole.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    you can train up to 3 moves at the same time...however, you need to have around 30 minutes break before training another move. In the break, you should stretch a lot, relax for 10 minutes without doing anything...then you train another move because this will avoid you from getting some muscle lesion or injury.
    However, if you feel training 2 moves demand a lot from your body it is up to you to see if it is worth it. But yeah it is possible to learn 2 moves at a time.
    Thank you!

    Hello!
    I really love the video and I am so motivated I started from yesterday and done exactly what you said.While doing the training i feel that I am not as flexible as the man on the video.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lean sidewards more towards your ear than in the same line. The idea is that the leg that you lift goes as close to your ear as possible.Watch the video and copy it carefully because these first steps are crucial in terms of conditioning.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi man! I saw your video of airflares. You need to hold your body on your left hand longer before throwing yourself. In addition, you also need to kick the left leg straight and high.
    If I were you I would train the steps of this tutorial from 1 to 8 because this will give you strength in your whole body making your airflare lighter afterwards.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can try to accelerate the process and it is possible to learn these moves by doing more exercises. There are people who learned much faster than the time proposed.
    However, I suggest that you see how your body feels by training for example 400 a day in order to learn it in 3 months. The point is that it may demand a lot from your legs and be careful with lesions.
    Otherwise, you can learn in 3 months as long as you do all the exercises appropriately.

    and this is coming from someone who has some of the best powermove tutorials on youtube. keep up the good work pigmie

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi all,
    I would like to clarify one thing very important. This project (SOLPM) is not based on my opinion. There have been tests. Many people in Brazil learned by using this method including myself.
    I teach in Finland and people who trained only 2 days a week were able to learn basic power moves such as headspin, windmills in 3 months.This includes adults of 40 years old, children and teenagers.
    The number (on average 200 per day) is so much that we see almost no possibility for failing.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    1 - The leg standing on the floor should be as close as possible to your arm.
    2 - you can lift up your leg higher than the way shown in the video but this implies that you are very flexible.
    One mistake that you and no one should do is to lift the leg going backwards...it need to be to the wing sides. Also do it slowly...more or less in the same rhythm than the video...and remember to hold the fifth lifting exercise for 5 seconds before having a small break.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not necessarily but it helps a bit if you know the flare. But as I already stated earlier it is technically possible to learn airflares without flares.
    It is very important though that you follow exactly what the video says...do the stretching section, etc

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    second, there is also a brand issue involved. Systematic approach is not the same.
    We want people to associate the name science with this approach so that they really believe it works if willing to follow...and it WILL WORK.
    thank you very much for your comment.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    two things to do:
    First - Put your leg a bit far from your arm...then you will be able to put it straight.
    Second - Work on stretching, especially the first one in which you close your legs while someone forces your back.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi bboy Teemo!I understand what you mean! In our days however there are many people who are able to do airflares without being able to do the flares. The conception of difficulty is subjective and even cultural I think! I classify airflare as an intermediate move because it has many variations. For example, one handed airflare, airchair flare, etc. These moves are considered advanced in the SOLPM cuz you usually need to master the normal airflare first b4 training them.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do both!
    Train the exercises first and then try to do 50 airflares in the way you can already do. The fact that you trained exercises and still forced your airflare by repeating 50 times will make you have real progress.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Bboy Nugget! I am very happy to hear that! If you keep training the exercises you will not only do 2 but many!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Concerning the point “People don’t really care if you do 1 or 500” - what the SOLPM has seen so far is that many people do seem to care. For example, imagine if you will instruct someone in breaking dance and she/he asks you “how long it takes more of less, how many times do I need to do? Many are not necessarily satisfied with an answer “just keep doing it and you will get it”. Common people want to know “yes” but if I do 10 exercises per day will it take 1,2,3, 5 years.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Dear all follower of the SOLPM system, I want to communicate that this video is above all a base for a structured learning. Please if you overwhelm your body by doing 200 exercises per day don't do it. Getting injury is not advisable cuz eventually it takes longer to recover. Some can get used to 200 exercises per day in a matter of weeks. But not everybody has the same physical preparation. If 200 is too much do 50 per day. You will end up learning it anyway because this is a linear process.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I do both sides actually but you may learn to any side you want. These techniques may function for both sides since you develop the strength from all steps exercises in a linear fashion.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    .200 a day is the quantity which we suggest. This number has been tested with people and it is an amount that generates enough strength to learn the moves.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Have a break. Never goes under intensive pain. If pain is strong at the beginning reduce the numbers. For instance, do 50 per day during one week. Then 100..then 130/50 etc. Get used to it gradually. By doing 50 per day you can already learn the movement. 200 is to make it scientific.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't recommend to do other exercises in the same day. You can train the step 1 and 2 in the same day but it is not worth doing with the other steps.
    The reason is that your body needs to fix on a specific exercise for a certain period so that you understand it better and master all the muscles, strength and coordination for that specific move. Then you move on to another step and do the same.
    Keep me updated about your progress because I need feedback for this project. Thank you!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    yes you can learn the 3 moves at the same time but it is advisable to have at least 20 minutes break before training the next move. You may also train one move in the morning, another in the afternoon and the third in evening.

  • @yeslemvall3656
    @yeslemvall3656 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    And some times i can't believe that with just this i will be able to air flair!That makes me some times less motivated but I won't stop!

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is possible to do without the sitting position. If you notice at the beginning and end of the video I do the airflare to the right side and my legs are not in the sitting position. This happens when you become very light then your legs go to a kind of planche position.
    Yes, you can train the exercises daily.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can do 400 a day and it is totally possible to learn the airflare in shorter time than the video proposes.
    The single problem is that 400 per day may overwhelm your legs and you can get some muscle injury.
    However, you can try this: Do 200...then have around 20/30 minutes break...stretch again...forget the whole thing...then you come back to it.
    This is probably better than trying to do 400 in a row.

    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Some things to keep in mind about the SOLPM.
    1 - this is not supposed to be a video to please people, to be cool or give fast information. This project is supposed to show the facts about what really makes people learn the moves! Therefore, I cannot make videos too short as some people asked.
    2 - It is also about discipline.
    3 - We will keep this project under the name SCIENCE until the moment someone does exactly what the videos say and yet fail.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Of course you can. Use this to satisfy your needs.
    However, make sure that you are training right and with awareness because certain moves are not so easy and Irushing too much may not be the best path sometimes.
    I tried to show the reality to people in this tutorial!
    But yeah skip and tell me how is your progress later on.
    Thank you!

    ... the entire program till Step 8 exactly as presented. A lot of people have quit and given up on this program because they realize they can't do the move because they skipped some steps and also because the repetitions per day is too tedious and extremely intensive for them; they wonder why they fail. If you want want something, you have to do it. Put out at least two hours of your time every single day and do exactly what this program says because that's how long it probably going to take.

    You should see how many exercises your body can bear. If you do a certain amount e.g 400 a day and still notice that you can do more. Do it. However, if you see your legs getting overwhelmed to a point which you can get some injury later it is then better to avoid. Do a quantity which you feel comfortable with.

    Try this: Do step 1,2,3,5 and 7. Try to do as many as the video suggests. Then you try again your airflare 2 turns!
    I think you will get it after doing these exercises!

    Yes skip but if you feel heavy at some point you might consider to come back to these exercises because eventually they are those which will give you the foundation to learn airflares appropriately.

    Before posting this project we trained people and made some tests, research so that we could make sure that this works effectively.
    What the SOLPM can say is that the numbers proposed are more than enough to develop strength of each step exercise based on our observations with students.
    If you follow this correctly, including stretching appropriately you are likely to learn the airflares.
    Keep us informed about the progress and if any doubts write so that we can help.
    Thank you!

    It might be possible but give some time, alright!?
    Because the point is that all tutorials that I make or other people do for the science must be designed in this same format! Clear microsteps, how many times, etc. In this way we make sure people learn it!

    Hi HellYeah Films. I appreciate your question. The idea is that you also have a break of 2 days during a week. For example, training 5 days a week by doing 200 per day makes up 1 thousand. It is very important to have a break during a week so that you body relaxes. However, if you want to force yourself to do 1400 per week it is up to you.
    I know that some people are hardworking that If I suggest to do 200 per day some will say ok I will do 400 or even more.

    Hi Nischal! It is possible to do a swipe tutorial but it will probably take a while. The point is that there are some tutorials ahead already which must be finished. Then I can do it..it takes some time because we need to calculate how many exercises exactly and time people need to go through to learn with this science format.
    Thank you!

    Today I did 1,600 reps. I had a break dance session every 4 hours today. Sounds a little bit excessive but I really want to learn power moves fast. I am in really good shape, I have a good diet and I massage my legs and stretch during every session.

    Technically, it is not impossible to learn airflares without being able to do flares. They require different types of strengths and there is not necessarily correlation in both moves. At the same time, being able to do the flare may facilitate to learn the airflare in terms of understanding rotation of the legs. It seems that you can do some flares already so just follow this procedure! If you don't do it you may train the airflares anyway.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove

    possibly at some point ...the thing is that there are other tutorials ahead which are being produced.

    I hope you've been doing your "weekly" exercises as in 5 days a week instead of 7 days because 2000 divided by 200 for 2 weeks means 10 days total. 10 days is TWO full weekdays which means it doesn't include weekends! So every week you are getting 2 full break days of not practicing unless you shifted your schedule somehow because something important happened during your week. I started Step 4 this week. Which Step are you on?

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Bboy teemo! I saw your videos and the reason why you cannot continue the moves like airflare is because you need to develop strength on your legs. By training the exercises of this video exactly as suggested you will develop strength and be able to do more turns in some months.
    Just do the exercises of steps 1,2,3,4...and so on! It won't fail!

    I really like the way that this guy aproaches to this move, Because most of tutorials are like this " you put your hand here, you throw, catch, lalala..". This way looks very effective but im curious does it really works? and can u really get it in 6 or 7 months?

    follow the guide. It is enough...having a lot of different techniques can bewilder you.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    "improve their flexibility and they will end up learning at least 2 or 3 airflares in the worst scenario".
    The logic is this one:
    - You have microsteps which are easy to do...however you do quite a lot of them which is more than enough to develop the required strength...
    - By holding your legs in the air for 5 seconds in the step 3 (for instance) your legs will become very light which will enable you to proceed with the airflares.
    In fact, I am about to do a video explaning this idea better.

  • @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove
    @TheScienceofLearningPowerMove  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi divizionn! It is ok that your leg bends at the beginning! Everything is a continuous process! You will develop better flexibility and coordination along the way. You should continue to train the stretching section though before you train! I estimate that when your are in step 5 your legs will be more straight and lighter.
    If any doubt I will be willing to help! Thank you!
