Just wanted to say I look forward to you guys doing something other than nosleep story’s, I really enjoy them but the whole “needing to tie in a reason for it being uploaded in the first place” rule really breaks the flow of most story’s because I feel the authors tie that bit in after they have finished writing when they realize they can’t upload it to nosleep without it getting taken down. That’s all, I look forward to the vid and hope you all have a great day.
Did nobody notice Blooms just chilling here? I love your SP commentary, my guy. The messages in that show have substantially changed my worldview over the course of my life.
it’s also made it so if i’m just listening to Wendigoon on his own, i get confused about where Hunter is, because now i’m expecting his voice and forget it’s just Wendigoon and not the creepcast channel
He’s really good! This is something I try to do when catching up with folks or telling a story whenever I imitate someone. Doesn’t even have to sound realistic for the setting as long as it distinguishes characters or people enough. It’s really annoying and sometimes hard to keep up when a story with multiple characters is told with the exact same tone. Imagine if they would’ve said “Rob says” or something like that before every sentence.
He really is so fucking good. He's so good at instantly making a personality for each character and acting them out in a way that you can imagine them too is just so so impressive.
That's not foreshadowing (hinting a future event). Ferrymen are meant to lead people somewhere. That's what Rob is doing throughout the whole story. Why else do you think he chose the name? If you're talking about how him leading people to a bad place parallels Charon being the ferryman to the underworld, then that would be... well, I don't know the exact term, but it's not "foreshadowing."
@@herbivorethecarnivore8447maybe I’m missing something but so far there is SOOOO much goofing around… I’m having to skip minutes at a time on newer episodes
I think you're thinking there's a tone in his text but there's not, others could equally misinterpreted you saying You're skipping a lot as criticism as well but in my opinion I enjoy when they "break character" as it reminds me how incredible papa is at voice acting lol@@MTyler8787
I work nights in IT. i just wanna say that this podcast, while doing wonders for passing the time, has a different effect being alone in an empty office building normally containing thousands of people. Walking to my car after a long night alone listening to yall reading these stories hits different and im not easily spooked. Bravo, sirs. Bravo.
Same, when I was listening to penpal in the background the beginning messed me up so much I was afraid to go to the bathroom from my well lit office because the two steps in a spacious dark office hallway were just too much
Lol no kidding. I had a hot cup of tea and a warm blanket. Ready to settle in on the couch for part 6. Oh the disappointment I felt when I heard them doing an outro.

I haven’t had that feeling with a channel of “immediately stopping what I’m doing and getting ready to watch it as soon as I see they have uploaded” in such a long time. Your chemistry just clicks I feel and the topics that you both equally find fascinating makes it genuine. Looking forward to this one and all future content!
Hello experience man! Love your videos, i know it's a stretch but in anyway shape or form if you collabed/played with either of these two would be so cool to see!
1. Not using real names 2. Tunnel under a hill 3. Don't take any gifts from things past the threshold, don't talk to things past the threshold, don't offend things past the threshold It's fairy lore, isn't it?
I mean... there are some very empty parts of the USA, especially out West. "Hours and hours of nothing but hours and hours" as my stepmother once described it.
@jakeboehm5267 me and a group of friends went on a road trip one time and drove through the upper part of Texas through the night. From sundown to sun up, we didn't see a single other vehicle on the road. It was honestly so surreal, we were on one long road going through seemingly endless farmland which stretched in all directions, the only other thing being windmills off in the distance periodically blinking red all at the same intervals. Granted we were driving during the dead of night in a remote area but you can go for a while without seeing anyone in some places.
@@deftomnivore215 I live in the Midwest. I think your one story only proves my point. Saying that it was surreal means the characters should have felt it wasn’t normal.
@@jakeboehm5267 Oh yea, for sure, if we had gone longer than the night without seeing anyone, we would have definitely started to get weirded out. But not seeing anyone else at that time hadn't seemed all that strange considering the circumstances. However, going any time longer than a day without seeing anyone on the road should definitely scream abnormal to the more skeptical characters.
What is so great about CreepCast is that they both look like they are having a fantastic time reading these stories. Like, they would both be doing this even if they weren't recording. That feeling is contagious.
Pouring one out to my boy Apollo: he was the one keeping morale at a high to the best of his ability, and was willing to sacrifice himself for others. May the game be gentle on his soul.
@@darkroomservice569 Yeah, I always wait until the end to check comments, just in case there are spoilers. I hope it didn’t ruin your experience too much, although it is a bummer you now know for the future! :)
Another fun little detail i like, is that Rob notes about how the Rice is so good at keeping people full- which is clearly him trying to handwave the whole "Road stops you from being hungry" thing
This story is amazing, the first time I read it, thought it was going to be like a simple Ritual Creepypasta, but then it turned out to be one of the most interesting stories ive seen. its cool that you are visiting some of these old classics!
Considering how busy they are already, I think that's pushing it. Plus it's more special when spread out, gives you time to digest the episode and get excited for the next. The daily content slog of uploading everyday keeping the same level of enthusiasm time after time is an unrealistic expectation not to mention disingenuous the more it goes on. Moderation is key boiiiii
Cliff hangers should really be illegal. I can't believe almost 4hrs flew by so quickly, what a great story. The constant great stories this podcast has provided is just amazing, aside from Jeff the killer all the stories you guys are reading/discussing are fantastically written. Thank you for the great content and entertainment guys! More power!
@@WizardosBozI get that, I feel the same from some of the other stories. If I can say without spoiling anything? They stopped where they did for a good reason story telling-wise; the content after that point is important in understanding the next part of the "game", and it'd be tough to rewatch or reread that last portion just for the info to be ready for the next video
I like this idea and maybe could explain his aim. If he was in Vietnam, he probably has some firearm training but due to stress, he couldn't hold himself and the PTSD could take over. He bottles ace because he bottled his prior experiences. That is if he's not lying about going to Vietnam to make himself seem more of a confident leader. They line where metal rung out is super interesting. What did he hit? At first I was thinking he was aiming for aces head and the ring was the hook but clearly not. Probably just hit the truck. Veeeeerrrry interesting
Please hurry to record part 2. The commentary and voice acting from you two makes it worth waiting for your next episode rather than simply hoing and reading it on its own. Well done creepCast
Gotta take into account that they have lives and channels respectively outside of this so to sit down and record for 4 hours or longer reading non stop would take its toll to do so it’ll probably be a week or so till we get p2
They upload every second weekend! Wendi does another podcast called the Red Thread (do recommend if you're not already watching) so they upload on alternating weekends. The wait is tedious when this is so good, but having a consistent schedule is a relief.
If you're super pumped for the acting of the story I recommend listening to the dark somnium. High quality voice acting with fitting voices and emotions for each character
Apollo is the real og. Man was just another guy looking for something more/odd in life and when it came to someone's safety that he could help(especially after Ace), he put it on the line to not leave anyone or to play into Bluejays ideas. We all could tell he was putting on a face to keep morale up but he also had the guts to try when shot got real. I think we should all hope to be as strong as Apollo. Courage isn't not being afraid, it's standing firm and acting in the face of fear.
I played this game years ago, starting at my house. Down the street one direction I drove around for hours before the road I was on turned to dirt, but drivable. The way meandered through the desert on random back trails before I finally hit a dead end my car couldn't drive through at an overgrown trail. I didn't want to give up just yet. I made my way up the trail until I hit the end. It was a small collection of very old grave stones and a burnt out cabin, likely from the gold rush era. The next time I played I went the other direction on my street, I drove all day through multiple small towns nearby before the turns started to circle back to known territory. My heart dropped when I finally hit a familiar highway, and I knew my next turn was into my neighborhood. Left, right, left, right... and there was my house. I'd reset my journey, and if I'd kept driving I would have ended up right back at that same trail to the cabin and the graves. I pulled into my driveway, and decided not to play again after that.
@@sswpp8908am pretty sure he was referring to Ashley with that one, as he even noted that it seemed like tingle but with a British accent. That would explain why he doesn’t make the connection, because it ain’t the same character we’re talking about
@@sethiddings7293 Oh my god I wish the hitchhiker was like that. He just says things that superficially but still deeply offends you. "You know, Fortnite should've won game of the year." I would not make the journey.
Hunter is great at voice acting!!! just making different accents steadily is already hard, but he also gets the "feeling" of the character and sorta transforms into it immediately. His acting for the grey woman and especially the Hitchhiker, when he changes demeanor, unnerved me so much!
Yes!!! I normally dislike voice acting when listening to audio books etc, but somehow Hunter’s absolutely CRUSHING it for me lol. His voices definitely add to the story’s atmosphere!! And yeah, he’s crazy talented to make it look so easy doing multiple accents consistently and portraying emotions. It’s awesome!!!
The Hitchhiker and Jubilation were my favorite parts of the Left Right Game. Like how Wendigoon said, the old school Americana folk lore works so well for horror. When I first heard of the concept of the game my mind immediately went to "Oh this is like summoning the devil at a secluded fork in the road and the game is a slow descent to hell"
Oh definitely like when she looks back and the whole town is just staring at her. Stuff like that is so simple but soo so effective for the creepy factor I love it.
It's all moments when they just have fun with the story, either just bring silly, or Isiah saying something and hunter playing off it so hard that Isiah loses it lol. All moments where he's laughing his ass off and im crying my eyes out. Glad others notice these too lol
I think the name “Ferryman” for Rob is symbolic, almost like Charon and how he is the ferryman to the Greek underworld, Rob is this ferryman into this other worldly place that only he can guide you and take you to
I’m curious if we dove deeper, how many of the things they encounter along the way would parallel with creatures or encounters in the actual Ancient Greek underworld.
Depending on how you look at it, the code names can be foreshadowing. That was exactly my first thought about Rob’s code name. (SPOILERS beyond this point if you are reading comments while listening and haven’t gotten to part 5 yet) With Ace’s death, he was the first. That makes me think of multiple meanings of the word, to excel in one thing, a hole-in-one for golf, an ace card. It could be a reach, but maybe my analysis can prove true with potential future deaths.
as you started reading part 2 and read the date, i realized the game narrated here started on my birthday, my 22nd birthday to be precise, which kinda makes me feel drawn more in the story in a way lol

@@Anakin-Skywalker. they said 6 days while youtube said 1 day ago, the answer i came up with is that it's not perfect 00:00 or 24:00, so hours push it to another day.
Yes!! It seems like they may have overlooked this detail because he was literally saying you pick him up no matter what because he knew what would happen if you didnt
God this story was so well written and immersive😭the way I reacted when Ace asked "Does something happen if you don't pick him up?" You would've thought I knew him personally😭
Which makes me feel like him and Apollo knew eachother, since they both pulled their nicknames from Greek mythology. Side note it's beautiful how Apollo went out since in lore one of Apollos domains is protection of the young.
"Nobody whos followed the rules has died before", the foreshadowing there is so good, more so with the rest of the story, because it leads you to ask, "then, what about those who didn't?"
2:21:39 Alice is taking notes as she goes and using the audio recordings she then digitizes them at the end of the day so they are accurate recollections. The preface she gives is for when she’s done and it gets released, if she thought of a good opening while on the road she would’ve written it down. Also idk if I’m over analyzing it but the junction is sycamore and acer. Tree, ace, the tree falling/being cut down meant they got ace
The description of jubilation instantly made me think of the rows of houses described in a wrinkle in time. With perfect matching people and matching houses.
"I'm a bumbling idiot, my female friend is a highly capable detective-to-be, but suddenly I'm thrown into the mystery of her documenting her own disappearance" sounds like a good anime plot
Interesting to see Wendigoon say "you don't say day before month when telling the date" cause in the UK we fully would say "oh it's the 20th of February". Because there's a higher chance someone knows what month it is and needs the day than them knowing the day and needing the month, so you give it in relevance order. At least that's always how I saw it.
As an American, I find it hilariously stupid people argue over this stuff when someone asks the date you VERY rarely will ever say of its February 22nd instead of oh it's the 22nd of Feb. Like we all know it's February but in record keeping I think month/day makes sense but In conversation it's always day/month
@@Dukedogdog As an American, I’ve never come across another American who said day/month… It’s assumed you know the month, so you’d just say the number, and if the month is included, it’s always been month/day.

@@mac2040I thought it was more disturbing than scary, but I think it’s up to the person. To me it’s one of those stories that you can sort of forget at first, but when you’re reminded of it a small chill creeps up your spine. If I remember correctly, the TH-cam channel, The Dark Somnium has the story, if you wanted to take a listen.
I think Rob offering to take people back at the end of this part is telling. Makes me think that last incident was the first one to genuinely shock him, enough that he'd go back on one of the rules he laid out at the beginning. I think the story is clearly setting up that something horrible happened on a previous trip of his, but I'm thinking now that 3 people are gone, he's realizing that this trip got much more dangerous than even he bargained for.
I’m surprised the guys didnt talk about it. I mean I get it was a kind gesture to ask but after telling everyone that this shit happens and already being days out makes me feel uneasy. Like you’re the main navigator and now you’re having second thoughts
It's clear that he's gone on this journey before, but last time, maybe he just lost a friend, or a member of the group and they all turned around. But this time, cow dung has hit the fan and the walls are painted brown. There are things he's never even seen, he's losing control of the group because of Bluejay, and he has seen three people die right in front of him, as he is unable to do anything. Eve was a group member, he was warming up to Ace, and Apollo is undoubtedly a close friend. Last time, he got cut. This time, he was burnt. It doesn't surprise me that he kept going. Sure he offered to bring Bristol back, but I have a nagging feeling that he would turn right back around after dropping her off. It's sunk cost fallacy. For all of them. You can't just lose three people out of seven and then turn tail and run. It's always like that. "Well, might as well keep going. We've come this far after all." God I hate it. I hate it in the way I hate horror. Thinking about it makes my stomach churn, my brow furrow, and my fists begging to punch something. Which in horror, means it is doing it's job phenomenally. I would listen to this over and over again, but my god will I be punching myself the whole time.
I love how the format has evolved over the episodes. Hunter doing the character voices while Wendi narrates seems like the perfect mixture, eagerly awaiting the next one.
I wish Hunter would do ALL the voice lines. As Wendi said “I won’t say that line for the sake of my Christianity,” and because of that it kinda takes me personally out of the story, only cause hunter is so into it and then Wendi simply just won’t read something, especially in Borraska. The end writing was so good, but it’s vile nature was watered down cause he wouldn’t read it.
Given that Wendi has the calm, steady and easy to understand voice, while Papa Meat is skilled in doing different voices and accents, I think it's a flawless match.
Hearing Hunter voice a dude making a joke to burst out laughing to instantly change to a brittish girl saying "yarn, that aint' fun" is such an experience
@savingthrows719 Nahh it sounds NOTHING like a Bristolian accent 😂 Tessa does a pretty good British accent at least in the Thor films ! Bristolian is quite niche and nuanced tbh. But here dude Hunter sounds so cliché of the American perception of a British accent 😂
That’s what I thought since his whimpering stopped. Could’ve just been the truck got far enough away from them but the suddenness of it made it sound like he was mercy killed.
My reading of the situation in jubilation is that it gets activated by listening to the radio. They kind of made it a point that she chooses to do that when no one’s around but her. Not to mention the idea that our gruff southern paranormal game master has not ever thought to listen to music in the area does kind of make sense. I think what’s being implied is that it was fine every other time because he didn’t activate the super natural sleeper cells. That’s just what happens though when you get a diverse group of individuals into a situation like this. Just because you don’t think to try something doesn’t mean someone else won’t and in the strange other worldly dimension the only way to know you broke a rule is experience. I am guessing the reason for every rule he spits out is because he learned it through going through it. It frankly also would fit the vibe of strange Midwest super natural horror story monsters that are common. A town that’s triggered to attack through a haunted radio broadcast is another common mid west ghost story trope.
I’ve definitely watched/listened to this about 10 times in the last 2 months. It’s now my go to when I can’t sleep because its so good that any part you jump into is going to be interesting
@@cyanideinmycereal1077 I feel like when you're that terrified you'd rather die with certainty than risk having the hope of making it taken away from you at the last moment

No kidding! Even after witnessing the unnatural firsthand, she’s still clinging onto her skepticism, muttering “It’s not real” under her breath. And frankly I do not blame her in the slightest... that is, specifically for clinging to skepticism in this moment, not her general shitty attitude lol I feel like most of us would also collapse under the psychological weight of what was just experienced.

@@notellier yeahhhh, I'm slightly anxious about what she's going to do from here out now that her firmly held beliefs have been torn away from her - people literally melting into the road would be pretty hard to process 😅
52:34 the significance of the woman appearing on the 34th turn may be a reference to the 34th Canto of Dante’s Inferno. It’s the Canto in which Dante arrives at the chamber holding Satan the 3-mouthed beast. The canto is meant to represent the transmutation of good to evil. If that’s a coincidence I’ll eat my hat.
This also lines up with Robs callsign “Ferryman.” In Hellenic mythology the ferryman Charon was responsible for carrying souls across the River Styx into the afterlife. Charon also makes an appearance in “Inferno” carrying Dante between 2 of the levels of Hell.
I remember being 15 years old and BEGGING prominent youtube creepypasta narrators at the time, (CreepsMcPasta, MrCreepyPasta, and more) to read this story. I sent them several emails asking them to collaborate and read this story because it was my most favorite at the time. Thinking back, I was so silly for that. Still, I am so glad to see my dream come true 6 years later.
I always attributed Jubilation's violence to her looking back; a visual counterpart to the verbal of the Hitchhiker. She looked back and that caused them to look at her and draw their ire.
In the most recent eps, they’ve been talking about their favorite stories they have covered, I just gotta say, I’m re watching this and part two for the 3rd time now, this is by far the most well written, gripping story that I have ever read/listened to. I am a huge horror/internet horror lover and this story has given me chills and excitement that nothing else has given me. Props to this author, this is truly incredible. And great job to meat and goon for covering it so well.
Im a local truck driver in Phoenix. Im looking around when I go under the few tunnels we have. Feeling the chills 🤣 Omg this story. I can't wait for part 2.
The amount of symbolism just in this first part is honestly kind of insane. Rob being "Ferryman", Ace being the first loss to be experienced and him almost embodying innocence, Apollo trying to save Eve basically sealing both of their fates, that damn hitchhiker almost seeming like the Devil or an analogy to sin. Part 2 is going to go hard, I can feel it
If they ever fucking upload it! Like what the heck, its been eight days and you cant sit down and read a damn story! even though its your fucking job! Do you know what happens if you or I dont show up to our jobs for EIGHT WHOLE DAYS! We get fired! We go broke.
@@coledibiase5971 dude both of these guys have many many many projects outside of this podcast to work on. trust me I want this episode too but there's no need to be an asshole, they don't owe you shit.
It also seems like the Odyssey with anomalies in place of the mythical creatures. The hitchhiker felt like a siren figure mesmerizing passengers and unsuspecting travelers only to veer them off course like that car accident and maybe intended to do more. So good!
This has quickly become my favorite podcast, this story is awesome. I haven't watched part 2 yet but when Rob used the codename "ferryman" and they went through the tunnel I immediately thought of charon the boatman who shepherds souls into the underworld.
Somehow Apollo’s death was the closest I’ve been to crying in a long time. Genuinely the most heartbreaking experience I’ve read in months. Eves death was also sad, but Apollos just hit different.
I listened to this story years ago & even now Apollos death gets me a lil teary eyed. It’s honestly right up there with Jorge from Halo Reach telling 6 to “make it count” before throwing him from the ship 😭😭
Bro my idiot brain mixed up "Hunter = Wendigoon" despite the fact I KNOW who's who So I was expecting to see the dog on Wendi's side, only tO BE J U M P S C A R E D BY THE DOG ON HUNTER'S
This is genuinely my 3rd time back listening to y'all read the left right game, genuinely one of my FAVORITE episodes, it's always fun to listen to after I've had a stressful week and need something to smile at and get lost in :D
Once a month I drive 4hrs across Texas to get my son for visitation, after the weekend flies by and I have to make the trip back home alone it's a real blessing to listen to these long stories. Keep up the grind guys!
Something I realized: the reason Ace died to the tow truck guys was because Bluejay took her sweet time, and she took her sweet time because she didn't believe any of this was real and therefore, no one was in danger. Her muttering "this can't be real" when Apollo and Eve get absorbed into the ground is both the shock of seeing two people get sucked into the road, but that this is real. This means that everything up to this point has been real and ready to kill her, and the only reason she's still alive is because Ace was the one stuck behind her in the convoy, and her taking her sweet ass time is why the tow truck caught up to him. His death is her fault. His blood is on her hands.
Even if Bluejay didn't believe the mystical, almost unbelievable circumstances, why the FUCK would you even risk it? Even if I didn't technically believe what was happening, I wouldn't WANT to potentially be the reason a person got hurt or killed, so I'd just haul and follow the group. Some people go out of their way to do things against the grain to prove a point, and even when shit goes wrong, they stubbornly persist and then when they're faced with the consequences of their selfish actions, they just insist it isn't their fault and turn their eyes away. Fuck Bluejay, and RIP to the victims of her belligerent single mindedness.
Rob sounds very similar to Captain Ahab from Moby Dick. He's so obsessed with seeing his own mission through that he doesn't care that he's putting many lives in danger. Those are the vibes I get.
Well that doesn't quite make sense with the end of part 5. He offered to bring Bristol back, and he allowed anyone to turn back and leave. Plus if he really didn't care, he wouldn't have wasted bullets trying to save Ace. Or going back to save Eve and Lilith. He does care for them, but I understand where you're coming from. I think it's just that at the start, he was confident. Thinking he knew what would come their way. Until things got strange and he finds thing he's never even seen before and the group distrusting him. Maybe he realized that he's the one putting them in danger, and that's why he allowed everyone to leave.
@@grimsladeleviathan3958EXACTLY. He keeps offering people to turn back, and according to his own words, no one had died before when he played so when be said "it's dangerous" it was because he didn't realize the Game could actually be lethal. Once he did when Ace died, he immediately offered them to go back to safety because he intended to keep going. I don't think he's as intentionally trying to get them killed, and to say he doesn't care if they die doesn't match up with his actions or words to this point.
@@ioanzatui I mean man's cooked breakfast for all of them, even when Bluejay made them doubt him. Even if you assume he needs them to like sacrifice at the end or whatever, he's given them more than a lot of opportunities to turn and leave. More than someone who wants these people to follow him until his goal would give.
This is still my favorite story y'all have covered on the channel. Been watching every week since week 1. I love this channel a bunch, you guys are killin it
Hell yes! I recommended this one as it's one of the first stories I read on no sleep and it legit had me hooked on its concept. And I have to say Creepcast has quickly become one of my very favorite channels on TH-cam. I like "Murder Mystery Radio" shows from... A million years ago, and this is right up my ally.
I know I’m late to the comment party but you guys should read “my wife keeps peaking at me” really a chilling, horrifying story that sent shivers down my spine. It’s a short one but I feel like it’s fun enough for you guys to goof around with.
First discovered "The Left Right Game" as a Spotify podcast with a full cast (starring Tessa Thompson) and to this day the best time I've ever had listening to an audio drama.
The Left Right game is probably my favourite creepypasta (if you can even call it that) ever. It just really scratches an itch for me, that no other stories do. Not that i don't enjoy this here, but DarkSomnium has a great reading of it for anyone who wants to experience this story without commentary.
Part 6: We take the next left, passing by an old town entrance sign, faded by the passage of time. AS: Rob, what does that sign say? Rob: Drisking? It's a small town in Missouri, out in the Ozarks. Good people out here. I'm friends with the sheriff.
It JUST clicked that the "interesting proposal" Chuck Greenwald talked about and the screaming that was broadcast was related to the empty and damaged homes in Jubilation.
2:43:20 well to be fair this is a guy who served in ‘Nam and was a PI so I’m sure this is nowhere near the first or tenth time he’s seen someone die. Part of the reason I think he’s so gung-ho on the call signs to keep the emotional distance. Something a war vet would definitely know how to do
I also think this story is based off of fae/fairy lore, the whole thing of going under a bridge/tunnel to enter it, not using real names, not interacting with beings on the other side, etc. Bonnie got cursed because she spoke to the hitchhiker, she interacted with him.
True the only times he’s ever addressed anyone by name so far are Alice & Bluejay. Ofc he had to learn Alice’s name & I doubt he’d care if anything happened to Bluejay/Denise. Even when he made amends with Ace he didn’t attempt to ask for his name, a restraint that he’d soon be glad to have placed upon himself as Ace was skewered like a pig carcass in a meat locker

Ya and also does it in a entertaining and fun way that adds some charm to these characters

One of the things both of you seem to have forgot, the reason why rob could've been so casual about ace's death is the fact that, he was in vietnam.

Apollo is the real og.

BRO STOP, THIS COMMENT MADE MY STOMACH TURN 😭😭😭
yeah, and i feel like they'd all be safe if they turned back, i don't believe anyone would continue alone
We've come this far after all."
God I hate it. I hate it in the way I hate horror. Thinking about it makes my stomach churn, my brow furrow, and my fists begging to punch something. Which in horror, means it is doing it's job phenomenally. I would listen to this over and over again, but my god will I be punching myself the whole time.
Y'all should do "My Property Isn't Normal" it's super fun!!! The main character is basically Ain't Nobody Got Time For That

I love how the format has evolved over the episodes. Hunter doing the character voices while Wendi narrates seems like the perfect mixture, eagerly awaiting the next one.
yea, and the banter when Wendigoon forgets is great.
Love how Hunter's impression of a British person sounds like it's straight out of Oliver Twist 😂😂
It's also more accurate of a person from Bristol than Tessa Thompson's "English accent" in the Q-Code version.

I haven't finished the story, but I feel like the last shot after pausing that Rob took, was Rob putting Ace down, so Ace didn't have to suffer.
That’s what I thought since his whimpering stopped. Could’ve just been the truck got far enough away from them but the suddenness of it made it sound like he was mercy killed.
I thought he got hooked through the brain until dawn style, but with a blunt hook.

He definitely mercy killed Ace. He was so matter of fact about Ace being dead.
A town that’s triggered to attack through a haunted radio broadcast is another common mid west ghost story trope.

oh yeah, the character of Blue Jay is fascinating to me. she makes me nervous with how aggressive she is. she seems like the kind of person who could get violent at the drop of a hat.
Bluejay's character is a great portrayal of what it might look like if a redditor went outside.

Wow thanks for information. This is why I love listening to stuff on TH-cam
This also lines up with Robs callsign “Ferryman.” In Hellenic mythology the ferryman Charon was responsible for carrying souls across the River Styx into the afterlife. Charon also makes an appearance in “Inferno” carrying Dante between 2 of the levels of Hell.

She was the most furiating character ever. Maybe her mind was as well effected by the place though
@@lalli8152*infuriating
@@Zarastro54 thanks im not native english speaker
I actually had to pause and stop listening bc that realisation that her sceptisms got someone killed was too much LOL
Rob sounds very similar to Captain Ahab from Moby Dick. He's so obsessed with seeing his own mission through that he doesn't care that he's putting many lives in danger. Those are the vibes I get.
Exactly what I was thinking
Whos queeqog then :3 ace?
I also think this story is based off of fae/fairy lore, the whole thing of going under a bridge/tunnel to enter it, not using real names, not interacting with beings on the other side, etc. Bonnie got cursed because she spoke to the hitchhiker, she interacted with him.
@@nunyabusiness7942Moral of the story is don’t trust Irish people
True the only times he’s ever addressed anyone by name so far are Alice & Bluejay.
