Nice vid! You actually detuned the oscillators all in the same direction when you first set them up (-12.10 is lowering the pitch, not raising it). I also don't think I've ever heard anyone say "I'm going to use a bit crusher to 'warm' up the sound."
Bit crushing means less bits means less high frequencies which often harsh the sound. I get what you are trying to say but strictly speaking: he is not wrong with that statement :-)
a lower bit depth does not mean less high frequencies - but as you decrease the bit depth, the amount of quantization errors increases resulting in added noise to the signal, which i guess you could call 'warmth'. if you significantly reduce the samplerate however, you will get less high frequencies.
0:59 vs 14:08 the end result is a little less bright. did you have an eq on the first one that you didnt add to the processing chain or? it sounds like some maybe noise is missing?
not sure if it was my phone or the video itself but it seemed like in the second tutorial the audio was not syncd with the screen, making it hard to follow along. anyone else notice this?
Dude thank you very much for another great soundpatch in massive. But i got a question! Isnt it possible to upload the massivesoundfile so the subscribers can just download it and put it in their massivepresetfolder? Greetings from Germany!
+Latsch82 yeah it is but i believe ADSR like to just show us how to make it as it improves our knowledge on synthesis rather than just taking the ready made preset
+Latsch82 Hey thanks! We could, but give a man fish and he has dinner for one night teach a man how to fish and he can the rest of his life type of thing. Fish in this instance means NI Massive ha.
+Latsch82 Dude you're missing the whole point. There are plenty of sites where you can buy sounds for Massive, what we're watching is about learning to make sounds.
Yo Echo you are the MAN ! I really like what you decide to teach !!!
+ninjafukwan7 Thanks!!!!!
Pro trick: you can watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Leonard Thiago yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for years myself :D

Deep dive. really well done
Nice, thanks a lot! cool sound!
Hello echo ur a genius do you think you could do the pad from disclosures song omen in massive?
LOVED THIS

thanks for great video!
GENIUS GENIUS, THE MASTER!!!!!!
なんで3オクターブで重ねるんですかね?それは一般的ですか?

excellent tutorial though. i like the idea of modulating the stereo width. i never thought of that.
Help! Open massive, template is different. Create new sound, still different than your original table. Sound is cool but not the same...
Wow, what is that theme ? looks amazing
what do you do to make that the beat? and what Daw is that?
Logic Pro X
It sounds different in the beginning also when you open massive it has LFO's set that you don't even go into in the tutorial...
+OSCO Official That is just false. If you go to 12:18 you will see that I have used two LFO's to modulate the pitch and intensity of the WT's.
+ADSR Music Production Tutorials yeah I'm sorry i didn't notice
can u tell wht drum VST u using
what is super square ????
an awesome sound
what DAW is that?
+david smith logic pro
+5cre4my Thank you
How do you guys know exactly what knobs to tweak lol I hear a synth that I like and I try to recreate it and I just fail miserably.

Dude we all know you are very skilled! :D
But its really much more easy for us to use your presets!

I thought, he will compare REAL Roland JP-8000 and NI Massive. Oops
How to make Massive sound really good? Put shitload of distortion on it XD XD
that's how 12 year olds try and do it yeah
