I met S B Mittal for the first time in April 1984. He had just introduced his line of push button phones based on Siemens technology.
He made an indelible impression then and in the subsequent meetings.

I have been using 5G in the US for the last 8 months in the US and none of the US telecom CEO’s have explained what 5G means to the customer as eloquently as Mittal ji.
I been too. 5g is nothing but 4g on red bull. Its not that big deal

Glad to hear that India is taking advantage of the global situation and regaining the lost ground in manufacturing.
However, a lot needs to be done in training and tooling the youth (even qualified engineering graduates from so called engineering colleges) for making them employable. Retired engineers and professionals could contribute well, provided the Govt creates a platform.

AIRTEL is the lifeline of India. If the DC office closes down or Govt stops functioning for a few days no one will notice-- BUT if the AIRTEL signal is down for more than 30 sec we can not live -- That is the level of importance AIRTEL has acquired over a period of time = Simply great company
Absolutely right I have never seen in my area that airtel is down if it's down still recovers in a few minutes or within 1 hour

He is damn right, services are too cheap in India for businesses to be really able to provide good quality or world-wide services. So, prices should ideally rise slowly so that services are better. Especially 5G services should be prices significantly higher so that differentiation can be done between customers who can afford and so deserves better services.
This is the guy who used to charge 125rs. for 1gb of 3g data in 2013.... If you think services are cheap go to another country and pay more

If you were in UPA government, sure you would have subsidies, but how long can you be sitting idle, while China and other Asian nations take away our manufacturing.
