This might actually be really really helpful to me because I’m extremely lazy and gave up shiny hunting within like 10-15 minutes, and I’ve never gotten a shiny alpha so I’m definitely gonna try this! Thank you!

I'm resetting him, i am getting different gendered luxio but no shiny alpha yet.

I remember I was going across the map because I was looking for a munchlax cause snorlax is one of my favourite Pokémon but the whole game it constantly evaded me
As I was flying and completely spaced out I heard the sound effect
and under me was an ALPHA SHINY SNORLAX
I then named that snorlax Irony and he carried me through the whole later part of the game.
This method still works as of August 2nd, 2023!

Yes, finally, a shiny alpha hunting method that I can get behind!
(My only shiny alpha so far is a Beautifly that I accidentally found in a regular outbreak on a new playthrough...)

The first Shiny Alpha (and the only one I currently have) was a Shiny Alpha Lopunny that I found entirely by accident. I’m definitely gonna use this method to hunt more though

I am using this method to get one of my favorite gen 4 pokemon, probopass, as a shiny alpha in the probopass alpha spawn
although my first shiny from this method was a nospass, not alpha which means I had to set it up again
Edit: so after 291 resets I finally got my shiny alpha probopass

Just got a shiny alpha Hisuian Decidueye, in just three permutations.
Nokimon, I think the reason why you're so lucky with shinies today is that, maybe, since the alpha spawns where a MMO should spawn, the game thinks that alpha is part of the mass outbreak, and thus, gives him the same shiny odds.
This is just my theory

Seeing a shiny Alpha Pokémon might be just as rare as being able to catch a shiny Pokémon in the Safari Zone.

After seeing that this works I headed over to the Crimson Mirelands to an outbreak and I ran into a shiny Stunky that wasn't apart of the outbreak.
Um, anyone else notice at 3:35 he already had the shiny alpha gardevior?
He already said it when he gets the alpha gardevoir that was the outbreak one, not the static alpha one

If you ever end up finding or having a female alpha gardevoir that is shiny id be willing to trade it tovya and you could evolce it into garchomp!

Right? I want shiny alpha pachirisu and I only know one spawn so if I can get a massive mass outbreak near it I'll finally be able to get one esp sense I perfected it and still havnt found it with the normal reset/ return to village methods
Hey Nokimon, I wanted to add some stuff to this method I discovered and tried too, it worked as well.
I did this method, BUT I waited by an Alpha spawn AFTER the Massive Mass Outbreak ended, and I got a shiny alpha Goodra. I purposely waited until the mass outbreak was going to end and cleared the area of mass pokemon. So I saved just before the mass outbreak ended and then waited for Goodra to spawn in, and in just three soft resets I got the shiny.
I also did this method again, and I found this also resets spawns for other surrounding Pokémon, so I also got a Shiny Croagunk while shiny hunting Goodra. So if you’re trying to hunt nearby Pokémon this works out very well.

@@Nokimon - Thanks, I’ve been doing a little experimenting too and it’s getting me results, seems there’s lots of yet to be discovered shiny hunting methods, I’m current trying respawn shiny hunting. Meaning I’m catching Pokémon in the field in certain areas where they respawn and hopefully it spawns a shiny.

2024, and it still works! This is really a great method to get several alphas (i just wish I could get the shiny alpha ninetales using this, i’ve been doing town reset for it, with no success

Yes, It still works... but if you're from the future, when you start the save, catch it. Look at the stats and then reset and catch again. If they have different stats then that means those are indeed a different pokemon meaning it still works.

My son and I found a shiny alpha Zubat! I noticed it was shiny, but didnt realize it was also an alpha until after I caught it. And this wasn't even in a mass outbreak of any sort. This was while we were wondering around. The chances are astronomical! I was obligated it put it on my team, of course.
Literally had the same thing happen down to the not realizing it was alpha til after i caught it. In mirelands

I think in theory you might be able to use a similar method on the Obsidian Fieldlands Rapidash. It won't spawn if there's rain, but if you go to where it spawns, wait for the outbreak to end and for the rain to go away, save, you might be able to reload and get Rapidash to spawn.
It doesn’t work for Rapidash unfortunately, I tested that and it’s always the same one when the rain ends
@@SBCoop a shame, but we have furthered the science of shiny hunting
Reason why it doesn't work on Rapidash during a rainstorm is because the Rapidash is *technically* already loaded to be a certain gender and if it's shiny or not. A mass/massive outbreak completely unloads the Rapidash so when it does come back after you save and exit, the game rolls for it's gender, stats and shiny chance.
Got shiny gardevoir a few days ago using this method while watching my bf play ow2 😂 I missed the shiny sound and sparkles, looked down at my switch screamed and caught her first attempt
The Fact that i spent Hours on reaserching pokemons info dexs, Completing the dex and finally getting that Shiny Charm. All i can say is Arceus Legends is a game i can keep playing each day i usually play get 5 to 6 shines in a hour mostly repeated shines but i'm still happy!
As of November 23, 2022, this method still work. Got my shiny alpha probopass. ❤

I tried using this method to hunt the garchomp spawn, and got it in like 50 resets
I freaked out when i saw it

I learned two things from this video... 1. This shiny hunting method exists. And 2. getting PERFECT RESEARCH LEVEL INCREASES SHINY ODDS??? That would have been nice to know!!!
You can also get the shiny charm by getting reasherch level 10 on everything I wish I new this sooner too

Dude I'm roughly 3 hours in and I'm loosing my mind. I've caught a few of the target species just to make sure the stats are different, which they are, but man... I just wanna play the game hahahaha
Update, around 15 hours in within the past 3 days. My wife told me just to play the game and not worry about it, but after investing so much time I can't do it lol. I just took the game out and decided to start pokemon violet. I'll come back to arceus on nights I don't have much time to play and run it in the background a few times before I call it a night.

Are you able to confirm the game version that this was done on? I'm guessing it should work no matter what on 1.1.0-1.1.1 but just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the great videos you make. Can't wait to keep seeing more from you in the future!
Since it's not exploiting a glitch, it's just forcing a respawn, it definitely shouldn't matter what version he's on.
Anybody coming here 2 years later and wondering how he has the shiny charm with only 240 pokemon registered
The last 2 are mythic pokemons that doesn’t count as dex completion for shiny charm acquisition.

I was doing massive mass outbreak hunts and the Alpha Abomasnow spawn was shiny. I’m naming him Snobama.

I'm trying to do this with the Gligar too but omg I cannot get it 😫 I've perfected its dex and I have the shiny charm. I hate this. I want to give up but I really want that shalpha Gligar. How do people do this for so long? My god I have so much respect for shiny hunters

I did this method on a alpha steelix and there was a chimeco besides it, and instead of the steelix being shiny it was the chimeco, but I’ll take it
Got a shiny alpha Alakazam within 100 resets with this method!! Working on alpha Floatzel now, this method is so good for a time killer!! Sadly ive given up 3 shiny buizel just for the alpha lol

my first random encounter shiny in this game ended up being an alpha zubat, i didnt even realize he was alpha until after i caught him because i couldnt see his eyes and he was such an easy catch, so weird baha. he ended up being a mainstay on my team, love u gremlen.
so does this work for non alpha spawns. i'm hunting for an shiny alpha Petillil, but that one doesn't have an static alpha spawn, only random ones. level seems to be the same for all other petillil...
