In this video, you will learn how to deal with elements being hidden. There are a ton of reasons why elements may be hidden but we can look into a few ways that make up the majority of those reasons. We cover hiding elements/category of elements, by filters, worksets, Revit links, and design options so we can find them/unhide them. This video covers all of that plus a bonus tip on callouts, elevations, and sections being hidden.

This was so frustrating when working with other designers. Usually when modeling myself i can remember why the element is not visible, but when working with others it becomes a "where's waldo" process. Thanks for organizing a good mental checklist of how to find that pesky Dark element. I will use this same process to find Dark matter and Dark energy, Perhaps a design option setting in the universe.

Hahahha believe me, I know exactly what you're talking about! I have been through it so many times myself. That sparked me to make this video. I run through all of these things when I cannot find something. Chances are I did not model whatever it is but its my job to hunt it down. Haha

Thank you. Very clear and careful presentation. Appreciate it very much. You reminded me of the basics from the class I took 3 years ago. Mark
