    Good video, but please consider lowering the volume of the music if not remove it completely, makes it hard to concentrate to what you're teaching some times, thanks.

    Great video, and thank you for creating it. Just a suggestion, can you please turn off the background music so that its easier to hear you? I think its nice, but maybe have it fade out after you start your video.. thanks again

    Revit 2024 scopeboxes now has a parameter of height, in this way there is no need to go in 3d or in a section to repare it

  • @brianedward6741

    How do I place a section view cut and perform match lines? In plan view I want one section cut shown but the section view derived from it is split into multiple section. When I duplicate dependent views of the section it places multiple section call out in plan view with different tag names at the same location, which I do not want.

    do you have any tricks for Area plans with view references?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can put view references anywhere but besides using them in area plans to reference floor plans or other area plan, I do not have any specific trick.

    I have followed all the steps in the video but for some reason even after picking the view type and target view my tag just says "Ref" and does not change no matter what you pick including referencing views on the same page. Revit 2018

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. That could be because the view you are referencing is not on a sheet therefore there is no view to really reference.

    Excellent job. But I have a question. I prepared a primary view with a matchline and i made two dependent views partA and partB. I placed primary view on sheet1, scale 1:100. partA on sheet2, scale 1:100. partB on sheet3, scale 1:100. I want to keep the scale of primary view at 1:100 but i need to change the scale of partA and partB both to 1:50. Any help?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks! For this you would have to have a duplicated overall view. I end up leaving the dependents overall view off of sheets so I can do what I want with the dependent views.

    hi there....first thank you so so much for your informative videos ,they really helped me out to learn a lot of tips and tricks in revit and when ever i need to check sth i always watch your tutorials.
    But i only have few suggestions about your videos:
    1. i find the background music in all videos very annoying and distracting because we are watching a video for learning sth new which needs concentration ,so we are forced to listen to an unwanted music during the videos.
    2. i know that you do your best to explain everything comprehensively and i appreciate that but i think that your videos are sometimes too long to watch. it is better to manage the time by explain the points in more organized way.

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for the kind words. I have removed the background music in future videos. And I do agree with you, sometimes they are too long. I will work on hitting the points and getting out of there.

    what's the difference between match line and scope box? I see them being used in the same way yet they are somehow different!

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A match line does nothing to split or define a view, it is simply a line to show where one view ends and another begins. A scope box is often used when match lines are used to define the view on each side of the match line. That said, scope boxes can be used on their own. They simply define 3D extents which can applied to a view.

    Hi,
    Nice tutorial. Can you make video over rebar clashes

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could possibly, although as an architect, I rarely if ever deal with modeling rebar in Revit and rebar clashes. I will see what I can do though.
