I have had the half gallon for a year now, just ordered two of the one gallon size. It's pretty unnecessary, but I do use them quite a lot while at work and out fishing. I figure they'll last so long they will pay for themselves.
Awesome product I live off grid I fill with ice to the top. I pack as much as possible. I get 3 days of ice cold drink. In 80 degrees out of direct sun. In 90 100 also not in direct sun 1 day .durable easy clean. Worth every penny.
I use mine daily in a mail truck at temps around 125 in the summer months. I fill it with ice generally once every 4 days. So when I hear holds ice for a day and a half. You’re not using it right.
I was at a new store not too far from my house and I originally went there for fishing supplies… until I seen the Yeti 1 gallon Jug and I noticed they had it in Stainless Steel, Black, Blue, and Yellow. I’m not a huge fan of yellow but on the 1 gallon jug it’s not a bad looking color, so If you haven’t guessed it yet I got the yellow and I’m so happy that I purchased it. I’m a guy that can’t get enough to drink so this really comes in handy. Took me 2 days to finish the tea I had in it with Chill Reusable Ice Cubes. Only thing is that I wanna get a protective case/ sleeve for it
@@nicholasdec1829 I haven’t had any problems with mine. It works great. You definitely get what you spent on it. I’m sure it does leak if you don’t screw it tight enough
amazing quality on the video, you earned my subscription. also, make more yeti reviews please; there are no reviews on their new rectangular lunchbox yet ✌🏻✌🏻
It does what you pay for it to do. It keeps cold COLD and hot HOT. If you want a specialist in something, you pay for what you want. You only have to buy one and the next 5+ years you don't worry and you're not let down; you're just not. Otherwise, pay $15-$30 for another brand, get let down, and in a year or tow; or every few years; buy another lesser brand. Dang, there you are. You could've just got it right the first time
Mine has been so far, yes. I use it Monday through Friday for my daily water 👍. Some people say it leaks, but they might have just gotten a defective one
The 5 year warranty doesnt make much sense, it should realistically just be one year. A defect is only supported by the warranty and not wear/tear. Meaning that when you first use it you should notice the defect. Defect being something like the top does not screw on properly, the handle is missing the rubber, it does not hold temperature, etc. All of these things are something you would notice immediately on first use. Giving a standard 1 year warranty allows you to claim it incase it was sitting on the shelf for awhile at a reseller. Point being the 5 year warranty is just marketing with little to no added value.

Does it leak? I heard it like leaks if you don’t screw it good enough
Not only do some leak but they're made in china
i've had mine with me on an open cab cat dirt roller for 8 hours in the sun and it was cold all day, its expensive for sure but worth every penny
For sure man! 👍
Totally 👍 agree
I've had the half gallon for 8 months and love it.
Are you able to buy a straw for the Yeti?
It may be too tall for a straw, but in theory if it's long enough then it should work 👍

Glad to hear it 👍. No complaints on my end either
I have a hell of a time getting the lid off. Wet the lid before you screw it on
Thank you, Juan. Based on your review, I’m ordering the gallon jug today. Excellent review. 👍
Glad to help! I know you'll get a ton of use out of it 👍
@@jbpatsfan81 Thank you! I just received it and I’m looking forward to using it. All the best! 👍

I want to protect the bottom!!!!!!!! I wish they made a silicone cover for it!
Agreed! It'll get a bit scuffed up otherwise
That’s the first thing I bought for mine off Amazon 👌🏼
Does the handle hold up well when the jug is completely filled and can it handle the swaying of a full jug?
Yes. I've had no problems with the handle

Great review man!!!
Thank you!
Think I dig the stainless version

Appreciate it! I have the Yeti Daytrip that I did a video on, but I haven't checked out they're new one lol
Good video. I think my mind is made up for another unboxing!
Thank you 👍

Agreed 👍
It's a mini metal bucket for $130.
Basically lol
Witch one would hold ice longer the navy blue jug or the all stainless steel jug??
I would say the all stainless steel. I have the black jug and the darker color holds more of the heat 👍
Stainless. I went navy blue but all Stainless is the way to go
Damn I want one but the price is just killing me.
It's pricey for sure!
go with RTIC
Dude it's worth it in the long run. I guarantee it.
Use it for a year and it’s 10 bucks a month. Use it two years and it’s 5 bucks a month. Not expensive.
Ozarka trails is not leak proof for sure
Agreed. Good budget option, but not quite the same
Got one for Christmas, to stop drinking out of plastic.
Definitely helps for sure. I've definitely gotten my money's worth
is it super air tight

Should’ve gone with black. Looks so slick. I have the navy blue.
It gets warm on the outside because of it, but worth it 👌
I got navy blue
But nice video review , very detailed
I’m going for the SS version
Just bought a yellow one with a custom design. My daughters first drawing on it . Going to hold In a special place in my heart
Saw the magenta/ purple one at Marshall’s yesterday for $79.99
Only difference I see between rtic and yeti is the handle. Not really worth $130 for a sprayed foamed jug
RTIC YES!
AWESOMENESS
Got mine on sale for $50 😌
Dang! Where did you get it for 50? Lol
@@jbpatsfan81 Lol got it today from work and one of the managers sold it to me for $50 since he was getting rid of them.
You got a steal bro 👍
You're gonna love it
@@jbpatsfan81 Thanks bro!! I’m going to use it this weekend going to be a hot one lol

Yo what up
Sup juan
Give away jug ? LOL it’s just mad expensive zz
Well I use it everyday lol
Get the rtic gallon jug
Just found out this is made in China. Not buying one
I think all the water jugs like Yeti, RTIC & Stanley are made in China.
iphone is also made in China
I try my best not to buy anything from China. I'm not perfect but I try
Great Body
Thank you!
