I like how Shorts War isn't NEARLY as complicated or hard to decipher as many of the args MatPat has covered, but still manages to offer a compelling narrative and intrigues us the whole time. It's like a starter arg for people who aren't good with args!
Fun fact: The reason Johnny RaZeR survived the 7 shots to the chest was because of fun orb, which unfortunately shattered when he fell to the floor. RIP Fun Orb you shall be missed

I always seem to miss ARGs, no matter how wide my eyes are kept open. I'm too tired to keep trying to search, so I'll just wait for MatPat to inevitably cover season two. Less stress for me. xD
For me its the opposite, I saw that was a thing cause I watch the speedrunning YT shorts series and I happened to understand about the ARG existing from different comments except….. whenever I watch shorts isn’t necessarily the moments when I’m at the peak of my mental conditions so I just kinda glossed over it 😭 very glad it’s getting covered
At the time the ARG started, I was following Jonny RaZer. I was interested in it at first, but quickly realized it would be more trouble than it was worth, unfollowed Jonny, and ignored the suspicious aspects of Joe Caine’s content (his stuff is far too good to give up). One thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes in Johnny’s videos before the shorts wars, one of his other friends would come in his iconic flannel and sunglasses and they’d record a video on April fools I think that might have something to do with it

This ARG pleasantly surprised me. I'm not a big fan of TH-cam shorts (mainly their algorithm) but seeing these creators that I actually do like come together to make something really cool is pretty inspiring

This was a mind-blowing idea if you think about it. How they all got together, and made something actually interesting. They wanted people to actually use their brain. Not have it turn to mush from all the mindless shorts out there.
