I run carpet track all the time, I found the best set up is proline wedges in the front and proline pyramids or pinpoints in the back. The pyramids will have slightly more grip but they wear out faster then the pinpoints.

It's amazing how fast you are!!! Just got done going through my whole slash 4x4 down to the differentials...had a slipper bearing blow out completely. All fixed now. Hope your vaca was a great one.

yo og mark i just bought a hpi savage octane xl like new at the swapmeet for 200 but it didnt have a remote can i use any recievers on octane rcs
I only have a 16th scale slash. Do they even race 16th scale?? My mini slash is built though, brushless hobbywing, all driveshafts are metal including center, steel pivot balls, hot Racing knuckles, savox servo and I did the steel gears in the transmission too. So far its bulletproof I haven't broken anything.
There isn't a class at the moment but I would be in for some 16th scale racing

I have a Slash 4x4 ultimate that I am trying to use for racing but I'm struggling to set my GTR springs in the right locations and ride height I'm using 40 weight oil all around. Any suggestions?

I said it before, this is why I don't like the idea of mixing open wheel classes with SCTs. Performance-wise the open-wheel vehicles generally have an advantage, but SCTs are big and awkward to pass for open wheeled vehicles which are far more vulnerable to wrecking due to contact.

Hey Mark one of these days I would like to know how do I get someone to do an interview with me about the RC cars that I own I just purchased a Posi super rock ray 2.0 which makes my 51st car!!! I take very good care of all of my cars and I have a wide range of different RC's and different scales I believe I will be a great inspiration to a lot of people on the collection that I have hit me up!!
