When you say generator, do you mean alternator on the engines or a stand alone generator? Either way the answer is: it depends on your electrical power needs. But the good news is that stand alone generator have become smaller, quieter and produce excellent power to recharge your batteries.

I need some advice to an expert like you sir. the generator i like to know if portable generator will be fit to this engine. I considering 2 AC unit will be working during operation.
