@Dralshard This whole song seems to be a throwback to all the super robot themes from the late seventies and eighties. You know, when the songs were just about how awesome the robot was, and how cool its attacks were.
Jeremy Higgins Nope, in 2nd SRW OG...better known as Gaia Saviour...they are two other Chokijin mechs piloted by two of the main enemies...Kanna, who pilots the "Suzaku" one (the phoenix) and Taiho, who pilots the "Genbu" one (the turtle) and they combine together to create a mech like Ryukoh and Kohryuoh. I know the names of one of them...I think the one where the phoenix is the main is called Jyakuoh (or something like that...I can't read Japanese very well.)
I agree that Bullet is far more useful, especially with Infight + 9, her Zeal makes murdering things more hilariously fun! Also Ryukooh can fly. And considering how much she was overshadowed before, I'd give her the spotlight a bit.
@kamenriderzunder And if you take the time to upgrade both Koryuoh's and Ryukooh's ultimate attacks to the max, you realize Koryu's ends up becoming stronger in the long run. Yeah, the dragon ends up being completely overshadowed by the tiger.
Chain attack...nuff said. Line em up and knock em down. Besides, who doesn't like a bot that can't decide what he's going to use to beat you down...so he just uses everything.
Isn't it just called a different name? Watched the vids of the guy that likes to do the vs matches and Koryu performed a move while switching between it's weapons. And yes, we know about your...ahem..fetish. (rollseyes)
@negmelover2 The kanji of the song reads in such a way that both "I am Invincible" and "None Can Opose Me" are acceptable translations. The japanese language oftenly uses one symbol for a single word and the translators need to take some creative liberties to translate them into something that would make sense in english. Ergo, the different translations are both right.
i think Ryukooh is best. And Kusuha doesn't 'hog the spotlight' she takes 17 chapters just to be playable! xD *it has a powerful map attack for crowd control, mountain pressure is a meelee attack with 7 cells range, it flies, all its weapons are 'Supreme', dragon fang is stronger by 400 ATK then tyrant breaker and that creates like 4k more damage when love or valor is used. Give Kusuha In-Fight and you're all set, as far as stats go, she's slightly better then Bullet since she has bit more hit and eva on same level and her telekinesis is higher at lower levels than bullet. In all the only advantages Koryuoh has over Ryukooh is that it is less high maintenance cause its cheaper EN attacks, it has Double Image(which Kusuha's high telekinesis and eva makes up for) and that it looks cooler...but Ryukooh is still pretty cool too and has a cuter main pilot so...i preffer Ryukooh :3 i guess Koryuoh is for those who preffer a more reserved and safe playstyle while Ryukooh is for those who like to go all out with high risk high pay off. Still one thing they both share that is awesome no matter what is their theme song! This song is amazing *.*
TenNoOkami ...Except when it debuted in OG2 on GBA, where Bullet would most likely be OP if you grind him for the Shishioh Blade but will still be better than Kusuha if you don't ignore him, and Kusuha melee stats aren't that great either, not to mention her lackluster will gain.
+TenNoOkami also i think kusuha outshine bullet more because of her spirit abilities. she has zeal and love for crying out loud. she can own all enemies in just one player turn. if you want more zeal, you can use bullet's spirit abilities than kusuha'slove ability because bullet has all the love can do.saves her more sp for zeal.
@lithuanianpsycho You should play the alpha series. It starts out even with both mechs in Alpha 1 and it stays that way in 2 (though Ryukooh might see more usage because of it's map attack) BUT in Alpha 3, Ryukooh outclasses Koryuoh. It has the ever reliable map attack, 2 (!) All attacks with HUGE range (the best of which costs ammo, not energy) and it dodges better than Shin Getter. I used Bullet mainly as an SP battery for focus/valor but he was still as competent as in OGs, mind.
SRX, GM3, and Hucky Trombe ver. mk3 is all on the same level when it come to technological prowess, although they NEED the proper pilot which was Kusuha and Bullet(i dont know why, but note that the Mechanoids used to be the personal weapon of the Togo clan) G0, on the other hand are weaker. G0 are the Super Prototype of Grungust after all... However amongst all of them Type 0 might has the higher chance to be compatible because Risshu, despite IIRC not being a Psychodriver comes from Togo clan
I'm extremely tired from having KoRyuOh do everything so on my third playthrough I'm preemptively training Bullet as a support Seishin machine, and Kusuha into an Infighting badass. I hope the Inspectors appreciate it.
@Dralshard I dunno, Mazinkaiser's and Gunleon's themes are a bit more Super Robotish, but this is pretty damn Super Robot-y. ...What the hell are we talking about?
@lithuanianpsycho Well, you should give Kusuha's route a run for the Alpha series. Specially if you cannot understand the text. Kusuha's route in Alpha 1 (Super Robot route, that is), 2 and 3 have been translated by MNeindegard over on Gamefaqs.
Eh, i found that i used both rather equally in both OGs and OG Gaiden. Ryuukooh when I'm facing a cluster of enemies(or flying above water) or when i need a stronger hit against a boss. Koryuuoh for fight the cannon fodder enemies or holding a boss at bay with Bunshin.
Ryuukooh's main drawback is not the unit's stats, but the pilot's stats. Kusuha has horrible combat stats. She has an awesome set of seishin though so I tend to customize her to be an SP tank. SP Regen and SP+ all the way. Can spam so much Love its awesome, double damage and everything for my Koryuoh all the way.
I tend to switch between the two pretty frequently, but I use the dragon more because it can has a range greater than 4 frickin' tiles. But the tiger moves faster and can attack after moving without a whole bunch of will, so... you know.
+Jerome Bustillo Thats the point, it has higher dodge rate and it moves a lot more. Aside of that, Ryukooh has the blade attack, which have more raw power, so it is better to fight bosses.
+butyraceousbrachiosaurus I think the idea is that KoRyuOh is more of a fast moving mook killer while the RyuKoOh is more of a boss-killing artillery piece.
Kusuha and Bullet fighting alongside Masaki and the SRX Team once again.
Just like how it was in Alpha.
It kinda reminds me of OG2, the gba one. Hyped about them in SRW30
a nice nod to mazinkaiser's theme
@Dralshard This whole song seems to be a throwback to all the super robot themes from the late seventies and eighties. You know, when the songs were just about how awesome the robot was, and how cool its attacks were.
The Azure dragon - Seiryū, the white tiger - Byakko, and the last two we need is the Vermilion Phoenix - Suzaku, and the black tortoise - Genbu
Well, we actually get the last two in 2nd SRW OG...their enemies though.
really? In most animes they are in Suzaaku is a good guy but this could be interesting

It's JakuBuOh. And it becomes BuJakuOh if the turtle is the main one.
E16ful Ok, thanks for that...fucking BuJakuOh's regeneration is absolute bullshit, by the way...worse than the Thrudgelmir's...
This theme and the super robot that accompanies it is what in the God damn....
ryukooh is coming as a dlc in srw 30, Kusuha will have more mountains to throw at the bad guys
The perfect machine that can rival with SoulGain
キバッて行くぜ!ガブッ!
ギャーギャーやかましいんだよ!
発情期ですか?コノヤロー!

Sagat approves.
Underrated banger, this theme gets me so hype
RyuKoOh!! KoRyuOh!!!~~ Fav of Fav!!! The combo attacks of this Mech is dam Over Power Over Kill Over Epic
Came back here after the SRW 30 annoucement!
Man, the first time I saw these two in OG 2, I lost my shit. Especially for Ryuukoou.
The biggest problem, IMO, is that RyuKoOh's only post-movement attacks burn through energy rapidly.
Chain attack...nuff said. Line em up and knock em down.

When you bring maria theresa and drang in one party
(Both are also part in granblue fantasy, where maria theresa is kusuha and drang is bullet)
The only mech that can absorb the Grungust Type 3 and make me happy.
Honestly I just like KoRyuOh more then Ryuukooh. I don't know why, probably because of TIGER KNUCKLE
The name of the song...no shit bruh the game went easy mode on me when I got this baddassery metal dragon-tiger-ironman. Good times.
@negmelover2

@UnholyJesus181
Actually, the KoRyuOh came before Gurren Lagann. So if anything, TTGL referenced IT.
@Brunom1 I've only played @ and @2 with Real pilots, and @2 with Sanger a bit. I'll have to try some day.
koryuoh rules

KoRyuOh, does overall more damage and is less flashy... Though, I'd hate to be the poor sucker that faces RyuKoOh...
PSのアルファの時のを思い出すなぁ(* ̄∇ ̄*)
Gurren Lagann isn't the first mecha to use giant drills y'know...
That's credit goes to.... Getter-2

Gaogaigar using drill to and daiguard
Jeeg.
True, but the animation for Tyrant (Over) Breaker in OGs certainly feels like a GL reference, even if the weapon itself isn't.
Now Im thinking....
What if the mechanoids devoured SRX instead
Or the Type Zero and Huckebein Trombe?
KoRyuOh IS cool but RyuKoOh still has him beat because dropping a mountain on your opponent is awesome
I tend to switch between the two pretty frequently, but I use the dragon more because it can has a range greater than 4 frickin' tiles. But the tiger moves faster and can attack after moving without a whole bunch of will, so... you know.

Koryuoh in my Opinion is more efficient and energy conservative than the RyuKooh..... Faster ang more brutal! ^__^
thanks to post, do you have the KoRyuOh theme from srw og moon dwellers? or do you know its name?
