  • In this video I show an update to what Fon and I have been up to.
Thai rules as to boundaries and avoiding future disputes.
How to construct a decent long lasting barbed wire fence. I will be going into more detail about fencing in a future video, it is cheap and easy to do.....Please remember to subscribe and leave a thumbs up, for updates and how to videos.

Thanks for the insight Fon & Dave into your boundary fence including the all important government markers and associated issues. Very informative and you make it sound and look rather easy but I see some hard work involved. Look forward to your follow up video for that section of the fence and the remainder.
    Cheers, Peter

Hi Peter, thanks for your kind comments. I have done some high tensile wire now, half of it. Stopped that for a while, as the rains came so, went on to some more planting of trees etc.
I will do a video of how I tension the wire, but time seems to run away with me.....bear with me.

Is it just 1 rai you have or have you a lot more rai being an ex-farmer?
As you were a farmer, are you going to do any farming in Thailand on your land?

90 percent Thai people do not recognise boundary markers they try crib onto you land,I got lands department come survey our 30 rai land, put in 1000 meters fencing my own cost, stopped all arguments with couple neighbour's who incroched onto the farm.

It's the absolute, first thing to do when considering buying land. I did the same, land office put posts in, before purchase, then I concreted them in. Boundary fence is the first, immediate, thing to do. You where quite right to do so, Ross. Cheers
