เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 22 พ.ย. 2022
I have lived in Thailand for a number of years, Fon has lived here her whole life.
We are buying a couple of Honda CT125 trail bikes and are going to travel all over Thailand. We are also going to buy some land and build our house. We are going to document our up's and downs of travelling, buying land, building a house and general living in Thailand....All useful and entertaining stuff.
New channel but uploads will begin shortly........

Not very professional, but good enough. Sound muted, visual test only. Can you spot the difference? Viewing the original footage, not on TH-cam, I can see the difference. But YT probably won't. All rendered in 4k regardless.
Shed update with cost breakdown, at end.

Just a short video trying out my new DJI action 4 cam. The Gopro 10 I had failed. I use this cam a lot on my other YT channel, Moto Vlogging. CAM SETTINGS 4k at 60f, rock steady plus, no ND filters, most settings left in auto and no editing of colours or audio in post. More land/shed/irrigation/building/landscaping videos to follow soon.
Entrance drive and a proper gate. Bonus at end x2 (Read description)

In this video I dig out my drive and fill it with 3 truck loads of stone/gravel. I have a little walk round the land and find Fon hiding in the Teak.... 2 bonus clips at the end. Please Subscribe and watch the next video's, coming very soon..... Blue pipe dreams and shed walls.......

When did u discover you wished you'd built it wider
IT'S CALLED A KNOCK DOWN, BECAUSE WHEN SHE LEAVES YOU... HER FAMILY WILL KNOCK IT DOWN AND TAKE IT.
Did the price include the casing? Will this be for irrigation purposes? Very informative video, thanks.
Price was for everything including permits/licences
140k for 40 meters???!!! that's a robbery. Of course they liked you. They only drilled to ground water which is from rain. Good luck in year 3 or when there is a drought. Did they line the entire bore? If not, problems are a coming.
👍
Thanks for sharing Dave. Always love watching a bore hole video, fascinating how they do it. Looked like it was a good company to use, how much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?
The cost is in the video. Thanks Guy
@@fondavesthailandadventures5366 serves me right for skipping the rainy bit to when they started. Didn't show up in the overview when swiping.
@@GuyGoesGreen 🙏🙏
Great video. Interesting to watch. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the comment
Enjoyed the run.
Thank you
If I had a pink door on my shed here in Australia I’d be the butt of all my mates jokes.
Haha...yeah I can relate. Maybe a pastel blue then...555
So far the land looks great can't wait for the house to build.
Thank you
That paint is expensive . Hopefully it will last , looks a good job. Cheers Dave
I guess you pay for what you get, this was at the higher end of quality. Cheers Marty
Nice ride. Those CT125 eat up the dirt track quite well at a leisurely pace. Ideal motorcycle to tour Thailand.
Thanks again Dodger, if you don't mind the lack of power and want a leisurely pace, there perfect
What great little motorcycle. Love the look of the New CT125. Ideal bike for casually touring the Thai countryside. Beautiful area with great scenery. 👍
Thanks for your kind comment. We both, love our CT's and your right, it is perfect for it's intended use.
One for the algorithm.
J'ai ma moto ct trail 125 😅
May your flock flow.
If you have a thousand litre tank at the top of the hill you can have a straight run to your tank and then run all irrigation from your tank
Why would I do that?
2.7 looks good to me.
Thanks for the comment
that guy's building a mansion over there!
Yeah it's pretty big. Nice guy from Croatia
J’adore cette moto
Merci pour la traduction en francais
🙏👍
thanks for sharing prices
No problem
There is a suburb of Chiang mai with all that stuff .(Ban Twai ? ) .It looks good but not pratical for an ordinary sized house .Perfect for a Hotel lobby though .Its not that cheap btw .Wood of any kind is expensive in Thailand .
Chiang Mai a little far from me. Cheers Anthony
I am married also to Fon ,, that is why I subscribed , just came across your video today !
Well that’s something every man needs,,will be cool to see when you deck it out.
Take a little while to fit it out.....painting at the moment! Cheers keith
Well that’s cheap enough
That's what I thought, for a man cave...
Just bought a new place as well. I don't want/like the Index Mall stuff... I want the old fashioned hard wood stuff. So glad I found this video!
That's great, glad you found me....good luck. I would imagine the prices are a bit higher now, when we went sales were down and foot fall was limited.
Do a ring main and you will get equal pressure, so after the pump put in a tee then run the pipe back around to the cap end so you have a loop.
I am going to try that next....I have just dug in a pipe under the drive, this morning!!! I wasn't sure it would work, this is trial and error. I hope you are right, your comment has given me more certainty that it might. Cheers for that Jack. I'll let you know........
I did it on my block in Oz you get equal pressure for sure could depend on your pump size tho but should be fine.
@@jackncrabs7150 Awesome, I'm glad I'll get something right..!! Just bought a new pump, the loaner from a friend died!! The new one is much more hefty!! Now I'm blowing off my unglued fittings, if I don't have several running at once. It's a bit of a balancing act at the moment to adjust all the taps I have, to achieve, enough pressure up the hill without blowing off a fitting. All good fun..... I don't want to glue up the pipes as they are temporary. Cheers Jack
Hi, whats the bushes name please and how much?, we plan doing the same.
Fon tells me it's Annulata bloom, bought on facebook 10 baht each
We found them, thank you@@fondavesthailandadventures5366
Works great!
cheers
The lemongrass are pretty hardy. Once you plant the they just keep coming up. I get in trouble when i mow some down with the brushcutter controlling the long grass and weed. You instantly know you hit one, the air is full of the aroma.....lol
It's amazingly tall and thick, I've chopped it down to waste height, a couple of times, with the strimmer... Not a Mozy in sight!!!🙏
Do you find your vision still evolves as you move deeper into it. I know ours regularly do...lol
Yes I do, especially as things are moving quickly with the neighbours and there house building. I am lucky to be at the end of road and have a large lot running down to the canal. Plenty of space, is what I am used to.....
Thanks for creating and sharing if i may ask what motor is this it looks a pouwerfull motor
Hi, Thanks. It's not a powerful bike, it's a KTM Duke 390. It is the perfect size for Thailand.
thanks@@fondavesthailandadventures5366
Just found your channel, it’s looking nice there, Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks Martin
good update
Super cool video
Thank you
What’s the name of your hedging plants I want to do the same thing
Looking good Dave 👍
Thanks martin, hope all is well with you.

I'm not sure about how they would hold up to the rainy season ? I've experienced some frightening storms here in Thailand. I much prefer what i built on my off grid homestead. Bricks and mortar is cheaper and stronger in my opinion. A few years ago we had a storm and it up rooted trees. ,🙏
Quite right and the storms seem to get more frequent and violent!!
❤❤❤
I'm going to build a fence around my homestead in Thailand so nice for the info. How many rai did you do? Thanks 🙏
Thank you. I have 3 rai but a fence not needed on 2 sides of the area. Cheer's
@@fondavesthailandadventures5366 We are planning to fence off our homestead where our house and pond is. About 2 rai so it's good to cost a bit. 😅🙏
@@bornfreeprepperthailand I think I covered the cost of the materials in a previous fencing video??? Good luck🙏
I've started to build my homestead 4 years ago in Thailand and now its mostly finished. I live here now, are you planning to build a homestead? I should have planted teak trees 30 years ago. I'm glad the headache over with building. Good luck I've have documented my build on TH-cam if you want to check me out. Good luck mate I'm from England too.
Thanks mate, I'll check your channel out later. Not sure about homestead, I will be building a house later!!
Where did you get the wing mirrors Daves? The ones you have there look a lot better. Cheers
I bought them on Lazada a long time ago, they are generic and cost 400 baht!! Sorry I don't have purchase info....Cheers
Thanks, I've had a quick look on Lazarda, can't see them, I'll have another look..... Cheers @@fondavesthailandadventures5366

They may need a slight modification in the bolt, one is left hand thread the other is normal. I just bought a longish stainless bolt left hand thread. Good Luck
They have gone up in price!!!But still great value
Nice to see those Baan Thai. Love them.
Really enjoying the videos mate, can you include some costs in THB and GBP please?
I think I talked about cost in my latest video, towards the end of the video.
