Orobashi has become one of my favorite gods since I learned of his story. I used to think he was a scary evil god, but really all he wanted was to give his people happy and peaceful lives. Him sacrificing himself for them to live shows how much he truly cared for them
12:10 More on the point of Ei splitting Mt.Yougou: Taking a segment out of the Golden Branch of a distant sea, it has this to say: "- treading upon land where it should not have, and facing a foe it could never hope to match - till at last, *its divine form was sundered along with the mountains* , its ichor turned into plasma, and its will and power became a curse that could never be extinguished: Tatarigami." The ship wreckage, the two islands on Kannazuka that seemingly drifted apart from eachother (one housing the Pyro Hypostasis) and the description mentioning mountains sundered along with the form of Inazuma you could make a pretty plausible argument her slash traveled all the way to Mt.Yougou and split it in two.
One thing I would like to point out is that Orobaxi probably didnt die from the strike that created the gorge. If you look at his skeleton, the part that was cut off was close to the end of his tail...He was far longer than that so she shouldnt have hit anything vital. Honestly, the whole skeletons position is very odd because there is no way he would have been able to fight in that position as his body goes in and out of caves and almost ties itself into a knot. Its also quite odd that Ei would aim such a powerful strike towards Narukami island, she could have hit Inazuma city.
@@BulletSponge71436 They couldnt have, if you look at the positions. Orobaxis head is turned to watatsumi, while the start of the strike is towards the mountains near Inazuma city, you can see traces of the strike from start to finish. If Ei came from Narukami, the strike should have been turned toward Watatsumi. Also, Eis position on the other side of the island, a long way away from Orobaxis head. Normally, when you kill snakes, you decapitate their heads, not their tailes. Decapitation of tails on the other hand is a survival decoy technique that some snakes and lizards use. Its what make everything so puzzling.
actually, she DID hit Narukami island. if you look directly down the Musoujin Gorge (or draw a line on a screenshot of your map), you can see that it lines up with the split in the mountain that the Sacred Sakura grows out of (which, if you remember, has a pool of the electrified death water at the bottom of it).
Appreciate your hard work in doing these series!! It not only speaks of the beautiful spots in genshin but also goes over easily looked over lore!! Tysm for the video!
the videos you do are so high quality!! and your voice sounds so nice!! i really love genshin's lore but there are too many things to read so these videos are really helpful in finding out more about the lore! Thank you for this!!
You know what I would love to see. Raiden Ei Vs Pierro during the cataclysm. Imagine he being able to kill her sister and she gets in a fury rage like Ichigo did to Ywach in the TYBWA
as far as i know it was celestia who killed makoto not pierro during the catalycsm in khaenri'ah because of the forbidden knowledge. It would be weird even if you will imagine it as peirro doesn't have a grudge on makato and she was a kind and gentle god.
@@user-wm7zy3hm3f we all know that the conflicts surrounding catalycsm revolves around the abyss, celestia and khaenreah. Khaenreah was so ambitious and created advanced technological automations that's why celestia destroyed khaenreah. Makato went there and became one of the casualties although it was not mentioned who killed her however it was theorized that it was celestia or the heavenly principles. There are also many lore videos saying that you can search it here in youtube.
I really love these video ahah and your voice is so calming. Ps: Yes Orobashi fight The golden god AND sometime after Raiden Ei thats why he stopped knowing he wouldnt stand a chance. just a mini note: ahmar means red. al ahmar just means "the red one" in arabic, so the references to him being the scarlet king etc make sense. i've not seen any places that refer to him as the golden one but that statement would literally translate to "the red one the golden one". do you remember where it is mentioned? i'd be curious to see!
Great videos and storytelling, shame this channel doesnt have more views. Perhaps you could make some videos about new events and quests in new versions to garner more views? Just like catwithbluehat or chillwithaster.
I definitely want to start doing some videos like that, I've just been a bit nervous about doing those videos for some reason. But yes, I think that's a great idea!
The Watatsumi people invaded the Yashiori island for their own sake, pushing Orobashi to in, tough they knew that land was under the archon's rule. yet themselves averse worshipping the electro archon at the time and even to this day. Ei killed Orobashi was just to protect Narukami from dangers and she is blamed by Watatsumi people for killing their god and even had to lose her dearest friend because of it (I feel bad to both Orobashi and Raiden who were mistaken here). On the other hand, another selfish problem come from Tri-commission, vision hunt degree, mikage furnace, etc. Why does Inazuma has so many internal conflict compared to other nation? some of them are even still unresolved T_T)
I am so thankful for your hard work and video. I play this game since day 1 but I am too lazy to read the books in the game. You doing the Lords work 😂
Dang, to think that Lord K parried the god slaying sword that killed Orobashi and left an unfixable electro plaqued gorge. Truly the LORD and SAVIOR of Teyvat.
small correction, the correct pronunciation for "Mikage" should be "Mi-KA-geh", the g being pronounced hard, and the e being audible instead of silent, like the words "karaage", "kurage", or "Chikage"
Yeah, I know that. If I went over all of Inazuma in one video, there would be so many wonders that I couldn't talk about. Multiple videos allow me to talk about more of those wonders, that's all.

I really can’t wait until all 7 nations are out so we get 1 wonder for each nation

For Sumeru, are u gonna do the desert and forest separately or joint. If joint then we probably have to wait till the last portion of desert releases.
