- I went to the steel yard and got the steel to fix the shaft on the plow that I picked up for $175. The plow works great. I pulled a couple of kids out of the snow in their truck. A little young to be driving but welcome to Idaho.

I really appreciate you sharing videos about your journey. My wife and I are about to put our house on the market and seriously start looking for land in Idaho to create our own little piece of Heaven.
Do it! I wish I'd started sooner.
Isn't it the case a lot of times in hunting that you see a bunch of things you can't shoot, and the day THOSE things come in season, they're gone. Creative problem solving on the tractor!
The animals seem to know when to stay out of sight...
Good stuff keep pushing for that buck.. can't wait to see the out come.👍🏻
Me too! They are making me work to say the least.
Great job and great vid! Thanks
I wish you and your family the very best in the coming new year and God Bless.
Thank you Pete! Same to you.
Very well done!
Thank you David.
Great camera work and editing! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Dave... I'm learning
Another good video looks like you have a lot of snow take care and a Happy New Year to you all From Hereford UK
Thank you Wayne!
I do believe the plow is meant to go back words since the holes line up for the pin to put it on an angle. I had one of them and it worked great going backwards but gave me a stiff neck so I added hole turned the cutting edge around and started using it frontwards. That old plow will outlast your life time as mine is still going.
It can go either way but my neck is telling me to find a plow truck...
You're MacGuyver. Well done.
Hey i enjoyed the video with the soothing music -and narration😊
Thank you!
Nice video! I am in ID as well, doing similar things. I just started to put some videos up for fun. Thanks for the videos, I look forward to them!
Thank you! Best of luck on your journey.
Great video!
Happy New Year!
You too!
Do you need a tag for turkeys? Looks like there's a lot of them running around. Wild turkey is a great new years feast. good luck with the elk!
Just a bumper! Yes but the hunts are over for the year for turkey.
nice video. that long access - driveway has cost and cost. Quite and extra budget item to keep an eye on.
It surely will...
I just picked up a 95 f250 XL. I loved the looks of yours and told myself if one came around, id pick it up. this has the hydraulic tailgate and a fisher plow. Everything works great then the headers went not a week later Lol
did you ever have any issues with your headers? any pointers
Mine is the diesel so I haven't had any issues so far. If it's just the gaskets it's an easy fix. There's always something with these old beaters but they sure beat a payment. Good luck Michael!
beautiful area :)
Good man adapt improvise and overcome
That looked like red dyed diesel that came out of your truck that you poured into your tractor. Aren't you afraid of being fined ?
Off highway use only... I would say thats off highway. I had some old red in my bed tank when I got it. I try to run red in my tractor though. Very observant!
So, you hooked your fuel pump for your vehicle tank to the bed tank with the off road fuel? That seems plausible. Occam's razor.
Are you going to build a greenhouse so you can deal with next year winter?
yes. I have a really cool idea for a green house using old windows and doors.
You could call it "Cow" Deer, lol Can you say; procrastination?
I have killed 6 deer and 2 large elks in my life. and never used a gun. both elks and 2 deer I just a $80.000 18 wheeler. the rest I use my new ford f150. and I did it all with in 3 years. needless to say my insurance double.
