THIS car is 👑, just like steven said. But, on the track the c8 Z06 is slightly better. The c8 Z06 beat the already badass c7 zr1 time. Roughly same weight, less power n torque, but it beat it at Nurburgring. Im with steven, im taking this ride or c6 Z06 b4 that badass new c8 z06. Something wickedly American about front engine, rear drive zr1 👋😀💯👌

C6 platform is still king. Still the fastest HP to HP
Just sold my C6 convertible last summer, the C7 interior and chassis are a World above the C6 and the HP gains are very easy to bump up.
I could never go back to be honest, the C6 was super fun, but for a daily the 7 stomps it in evry way.
Just my 2 cents, go drive one brother, you will love it!
@@naughtydonkeyperformance The only thing the C7 has over the C6 is the interior which is the least of my concerns. Other than that at the same HP level C6 wins every time. A Stock C6 ZR1 keeps up with a C7 ZR1 and the C7 ZR1 has over 100 more hp LOL. Also the 5th gear in the C7Z06 is a turd.

I love watching you banging the gears with that much horsepower that is so cool to 6:12 me! It’s sad to see it’s almost impossible to find a manual car these days! I get auto for pure racing reasons but nothing like the sound and knowing it’s all on you to shift those gears right and not miss lol!
As a C7Z owner, i do agree GM reached it's peaked with the C7 platform. Great looks, decent tech, insane potent powerplants in the LT4/LT5. I am about 18 months from getting my C8Z and i will miss the C7 platform when i switch. I honestly wish my C7Z was auto though because like steven said, in stock form these cars are a riot. Not only the ZR1 but the z06 too. 650/650 is no slouch. My car is a manual and i only did the bolt ons to it and i still fight traction. With cup2's, P4S, even R888's although not much. I can only imagine a modified ZR1 lol.
I think if my z06 was auto i would keep it forever and have it built to make 1000rwhp. I really want to experience that much power in these cars. I just wouldn't want to do it to my car because it's a manual :(

Are those BC Forged wheels on there? Those are the best aftermarket wheels I've seen on a ZR1. The Welds look good also but those are really nice!

anyone know whose car this is. those wheels are insane. i think they are BC forged HCA162S. but wheel and tire size????? and is it lowered on stock bolts ?
Those are Signature Forged wheels. 20/21 Wheel combo. 325/25/21 in the rear and lowered on aftermarket bolts
