Join me for days 4 and 5 of my 7-day knitting tour in Ireland! This leg of the journey included a bit of travel, a cozy new stay, and plenty of knitting inspiration.
Day 4 started with a stop at the Flying Boat Museum for a yarn trunk show and a lesson in making Irish coffee. Afterward, we checked into the beautiful Loch Lein Country House, my favorite stay of the trip. The day ended with an incredible knitting workshop with Carol Feller, where I finally learned how to knit German short rows!
Day 5 kicked off with a relaxing breakfast before finishing Carol’s workshop, where I couldn’t resist buying some gorgeous yarn. We then explored Ross Castle, enjoyed a scenic lake cruise, and ended the day with a magical horse-drawn carriage ride through a national park. Back at the hotel, I even got up to sing during a live Irish music performance-totally out of my comfort zone, but so worth it!
