Just swim with thr a55 yesterday. Nothing brokes, but if u ever get panic why the wifi isnt working after swimming with the phone, just restart it. It'll be good as new

A loooonng time ago, I had a Sony Z1 with IP58 rating, died after taking it for a swim. Granted it was quite old by then, so I will treat waterproof phones as waterproof when new and no more than 2 years.

​@@marielofficialpage6364It is only IP67, this mean it is not fully water resistant, fully water resistant would be IP68 or even better IP69, the last number is for water resist and the other for dust resist. IP67 like the A55 means, that you can put it in water to a maximum of 1 meter (3.3 ft) for around 30 minutes.

Ofc if you put iPhone 15 pro max in the pool it will get damaged. Pool water has cl in it to keep the water clean and safe, but cl damages any phone
