    Well the method is definitely sound, and im glad you just went for it regardless of the possible outcome. It gives me the chance now to get creative with the dye application knowing what to expect. 👍

    It's funny, art in any form always looks a lot easier than it is. I don't think either of your dyes are terrible. A little practice and I bet you'd create some good ones. Thanks for all you do for disc golf. Happy holidays 🥏🥏🥏⛳

    that looks more like an actual jawbreaker than the discraft jawbreaker plastic on those pro models. i think that looks so nice. thanks for showing me how to dye my wave so i stop loosing them lo9l

    This was absolutely entertaining and convinced me that I am extreme unlikely to ever try to dye a disc. 😁. But greatly appreciate the “how it’s done” information and continue to look forward to future stuff!

    honestly i like them both. Great first attempt. I only ever tried a spin dye so i may need to give this a shot myself

    aerosol cans typically work better, upright. You may want to use a scraper that is longer than the pan is wide. Thanks for the vid. I am convinced I can tackle this chore on my own discs...

      @@JustDisc I DID! I got almost every color in the rit synthetic dyes. I also got a starter pack of pro chem dyes. Having very nice weather right now and I'm on holiday shutdown so getting alot of outside work done. And I ordered some misprints which I'll remove the stamp if it looks bad and dye those.     Try adding a mix of shaving cream and water to the dye bottles. It makes it easier to pour. I think both look brilliant.

    I like how the Wraith turned out, got some jagged depth to it! I've also recently started dyeing discs. Forget RIT. Get ProChem dyes. Seriously.

    Question: Can I mix a little bit of dye and shaving cream and basically draw a design I want on the disc then let it dry that way???

    thanks for putting good info out.i have brain damage and need all discs 1 color,orange is by far the easiest to see so thats what i do.multi colored looks great until it lands in a shady bush then BAM ITS CAMO.i have done cream and hot dip dying,if you want a solid color like me do hot dip, its also faster and i had pockets that got missed with cream on several discs.WHOO FROLFING

    From what I heard you only need to wait 8h for the discs to be ready.
    It's great seeing you getting into dying discs.

      anything from an hour to 48 hours may be necessary depending on temperature, brand, color, amount of dye, bed type, technique, desired saturation, line/cell definition, ...
      as you can see there are so many variables it's impossible to make a general statement about how long you should leave a disc in the bed.

    What would you recommend me doing if I want to dye a white disc a solid color?

      Hey Frankie, thanks for the question! If you want to dye your disc a solid color with no design, you could most likely just stick it in a bowl of dye for 12 hours and it should do the trick! Depends however if you want the back of the disc to be dyed the same color as well. Hope this helps!

      However, our next video (Disc Dyeing for Newbies Part 3), we do Cell Dyes…And holy moly, it’s our favorite way to dye a disc and gave us the coolest results! Only issue with it is that it takes the most amount of tools to do. We pretty much won’t be doing any other type of dyeing method from here on out 🤪
