@@zaydevans2077 it's not a big mystery, Aron was socialized in middle class, coastal, very bourgeois social strata; Jesse came from a much tougher background. So, Aron's vocabulary is much more nuanced. Imagine you know less words and have less rhetorical elegance, and that's probably what being Jesse is like.

and that's the point, this Ra spends so much energy running around trying to deny faith to people like my son who died when he was 8. He needed faith, he needed hope but lowlife atheists would deny that to humanity, so caught up with their own self importance as they are. No doubt this Ra character makes a living out of it, but one day he will be dead, and his achievement will be nothing other than the arguments of a clever (in his mind) fool.
@@deanpd3402 That's not at all the point! The POINT is that ideas don't die with the thinker. Good ones stand the test of time. Like Darwin, Newton, Galileo, Einstein, and so many more. It doesn't matter that "they dead" yet Jessie seems to place an emphasis that only religion can provide eternal life - IF one denies the facts in front of their eyes.
I am sorry about your son, I lost a little brother at 6. No atheist would deny your son hope for the afterlife, but neither would any of us tell children that God created everything as we see it today 6000ish years ago. Because it's not true, it's a lie. Aron has learned enough truth (and has spent thousands of hours teaching it) to say without hesitation, "evolution is a fact." Most religious people accept it, the Vatican accepts it, and honestly what that has to do with heaven and God is not clear. You may see your son again in the afterlife, but you DEFINITELY are the result of evolution on earth. Only biblical literalists argue the point, but none of them can say why they don't also burn a ram's blood on Sundays and never wear mixed fabrics.
Faith is meant to comfort, not to guide common sense living. That's our beef in a nutshell.

It was really enjoyable and relaxing to hear Aron talk to Jesse like Jesse is literally a child, bc he is in this realm. Aron could’ve easily made this video into an absolute obliteration and clowning of Jesse’s beliefs, but instead he simply picked them apart and genuinely tried to explain these concepts to Jesse as if it was the first time Jesse inquired about them. Yes Satan in LaVeyan Satanism is symbolic, but Jesse's point was "why did Satanists choose Satan as a symbol?" I'm surprised Aron ducked such a simple question. Obviously choosing the designated "villain" character in the dominant mythology of the country you grew up in to symbolize your movement will create the impression that the movement is just based on some adolescent impulse of "lashing out at your own cultural background." And obviously choosing Satan as a symbol of a secular and materialist worldview will misdirect people away from the fact that it's a secular worldview. In fact it seems calculated to create that confusion. Why do that? Why approach everything and everyone in bad faith and then expect good faith in return?

Jesse doesn't listen with the intention of understanding the response he gets. He seems utterly incapable of following basic concepts or making any sort of effort to understand things that he doesn't want to know.
Because his ‘view’ is the most simplified fundamental truth of reality. When you condense or distill a concept there can only be one true answer, and that usually falls into either good or bad, so in his head it really is that simple. And he’s right it actually is. Things are dual and opposing. Either good or bad at the core.
It sounds like I had a similar upbringing as this guy. I couldn't trust my parents because they lied about eachother and were overall in a dysfunctional relationship. I used to say the same stuff about God being a lie because I became bitter and felt I couldn't trust anyone or even my own nature.
Eventually, after being lost for many years, I overcame my childhood trauma and returned to the Father. Christ is King

They want to claim that 90 or so percent of our DNA is the same, so this must mean we're "related" or "have a common ancestoer," or "came from apes," or "evolved from apes, notice they keep changing the terminology? The problem with that claim is that the entire genome hasn't been decoded as of yet, last time I checked it was somewhere around 60%. So how can you claim two things are 90+% the same...if you haven't completely studied either one of those two things yet?
