A lot of people don't actually understand how good the Raptor (either generation) is straight out of the box. This only serves to further prove the point! and the fact FORD gave you a car shows their confidence in it too!!!
I hear "Oh for that money I can build a miles better Wildtrak" which I don't believe is true without a massive cost rear coil conversion..... It would be awesome to see if you could get someone with a modified "normal" Ranger to tackle some trails against a bone stock Raptor. Especially those quicker Baja style runs, to see just how different things are between the two!
Your first gen vs. next-gen stuff is brilliant but there are guys on the fence about Wildtrak vs. Raptor that might not fully understand the massive differences between the two either in basic engine/driveline/suspension spec, capabilities or chassis and engineering changes.

I just jumped the new one on its second day I owned it a few times over a few decent size humps, at around 70km-80km per hour. Thing loved it

If i put 315 70 17 tires on mine, can it still be put to a test like this? Can it still handle road abuse?

I have 35s on mine and it does scrub out on full compression. You might be ok but if he aware it might touch.

Great video and explanation. Are you doing any spring lifts to the Gen 2?
With bypass shocks it’s very difficult to put a lifted spring in with out destroying the ride
@@TyFenwick good to see that opinion!!!!.... too many people out there argue otherwise and will lift their Raptor (either gen) 2" and say "nahhh it didn't change anything with the ride".
They'll then proceed to use it as a freeway commuter for 4 years and do one or two weekends on the gravel in their entire ownership of the car... But if you actually use one, abuse one, and take one offroad in anger and you'll see pretty quickly that it is totally fine as is... Ford knew what they were doing, FOX knew what they were doing... Old mate that stands to make $300 profit out of you in a couple hours selling a "lift kit" doesn't have a clue...
Plus, factory fitted with 33" tyres (able to handle 35" boots fine if you get the right wheel/tyre combo), and with significantly more suspension height / ground clearance than a normal Ranger, it doesn't need a lift to avoid getting hung up on bumps an regular Ranger will be beached on...

Dude, you talk too much. Out of almost 15 minutes long video your face is 13 minutes in frame and you are talking for 14 minutes. Everything about Raptor can fit into 1 minute clip.
