0:00 on the bottom left corner of the screen you can see what the Alpine area was sort of meant to be. It's also weird that on the bottom right corner of the screen (North-West of Downtown Rockport in the final) there was another area with farmland. Really cool shot of the concept map in my opinion
It was EA's finest piece of art. Creating a follow-up project should not be difficult for them. The gameplay, the story and the quality are a masterpiece.
I had a copy of the game when I was a child, that when I play it, its start with the last trailers and give me the car to race with it, even before the main menu to show up.
Some of these Traffic Cars from the First Trailer was reused from Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, Need for Speed Underground, and Need for Speed Underground 2.
Ya know I only see it once that the truck that carry cars behind flew up and landed because of hit by other cars , I'm not the one who playing at the moment though
