I agree. With some reviewers, the camera angles can be quite messy, with jump-cuts and reviewers not explaining things properly. I always tend to go back to emgo's reviews over others
I'm good as he's going to stay in robot mode. I've got Transform and Rollout Jazz for the alt mode and that'll be how I display them. I'm not a fan of bending plastics and that door flexing is a huge no no for me. With my luck, I'd end up breaking it.
The ending was the funniest thing ever to date! I think the whole conversation was just Prime telling Jazz to turn it down and Jazz reluctantly agrees at some point. Lol
The best follow up is to have that playing while Optimus and Megatron are about to fight, both turn to stare at Jazz, Megatron raises his fusion cannon, and when the music cuts out he can complain that he had his best speech ever and yet nobody heard a word of it.

by Primus, I'd sacrifice at least 30% of the look of this thing in favor of a transformation that doesn't make me want to disembowel whoever designed it. 3P's obsession with sliders is going to kill me one day I swear.

Just got the reissue of this guy recently, you’re not kidding about how difficult the doors are to transform. The rest isn’t awful, the legs can be a bit frustrating… but those doors. It’s no nerve wracking. I worry about breaking it each time.
And this My friends is the reason why we should wait for the Official Masterpiece version whether original OR K.O. to spare ourselves of those fiddly "not-a-fan of" transformations
Finally a review of this figure which shows that he can have the door wings as an option, I must have seen about 10 now of which ONLY Emgo here shows that it's possible.

Nice mold, but I wish it had more chrome on the body, like the midriff, shins, rifle, face, and real world detail on the stripes and car body. I guess Toyhax Reprolabels will do those. 🤔✌️😉
Like I've said in the Mirage review, just got mine last week this time and it's amazing. Fits in in with my other MPs a bit too well. I haven't transformed him yet, not because I'm scared of the transformation, but because it just looks so good the way it is (and I have SS86 jazz as my fiddle figure). Got a few downsides, one being that the shoulder ratchets are so tight, I can't pivot his arms without untabing them and the chest. And he came with two happy faces instead of one being his own mouthed expression, but I rarely swap faces on my figures anyways.
This figure is awesome, and part of me feels like it's mold could be inspiration for a proper movie bumblebee. maybe not because its based off a simple G1 aesthetic, but with the way the legs transform, doors line up and even how they managed to seamlessly turn the front wheels into a shoulder of sorts. makes ya wonder if they can do this than how can we still not get a proper bee backpack lol
Badcube made a really good updated Sideswipe and Red Alert. Unfortunately so many were satisfied with the official Sideswipe nobody really bought it. Shame cause looking at it now, Steamroll looks the part a lot better
Really wish I got this guy when he wasn’t sold out. Jazz was my favourite from g1 I love is look and is car mode🔥🔥 is there like and app or something I can get that notifies me when new stuff like this is in the works or coming out?
I finally picked up the X version of this (with the updated livery apparently). The transformation is unchanged and holy cow is it finnicky. I wouldn't call it impossible...downright impressive honestly but NOT fun in the slightest. Got him in car mode now and I think he's gonna stay there for a bit. He's solid but I was afraid the whole time of breaking something.
I'm tempted to get this figure even though I already have Maketoys Downbeat. I'd probably display that one in alt mode and this one in bot mode if I do get him.
You mention your masterpiece shelf a lot. Do you have a video of it? Also curious to see your video set up (where tri-pod is, etc when filming, etc). Thanks! Love the videos
The more time goes by the more I'm convinced that MP10 is just the wrong size to pair with "regular" Autobot MP figures. It may not be true to the show, but something like the MP10V just looks more "right" - largely because the original Optimus figure didn't tower over any of the diaclone cars. I'll go back to yelling at my cloud now.
This!!! OMG this. Downbeat has a great alt mode, don't get me wrong, the bot mode is passable, but Jive blows it away! In the end though, it's what your wallet can withstand! 😂😂
God this figure looks so good! And it really does the G1 design justice. Also, love the stop-motion bit at the end. Might I ask what the song's name is? Sounds like a real head-banger.
As for the actual toy itself he looks good but if you want to just have an MP Jazz for the shelf at the best value for the dollar I don't know if he's better than the Transform and Rollout one that was half the price (but whose transformation is a special kind of hell... not an issue if you're never going to transform him of course). Good luck finding that Jazz figure for the original $65 now, though... last I saw they're doing a re-release for $80.

My question is: are there any Transformers online stores that you guys wouldn't recommend? I was watching another TH-camr and they were big on ShowZ, but I don't have any experience with them.

Other reviewers (esp the first to review certain figure) is just an opening act, Emgo is the true final & definitive act.

Ah yes, the classic Fanstoys experience. Incredible bot mode. Gorgeous alt mode. But even God himself fears the task of switching between modes
it is a work of art, the takara masterpiece and fanstoys do the best at making them as cartoon as possible

I love the robot mode but out of the box was really tight making the transformation less enjoyable then I hoped but still worth it
