This is the JAPANESE translation: Thanks to my mother -- Luna: oh you're here Noctis'sama! Noctis: "you too?" Luna: I never thought I'd see you one more time! Noctis: Why is that? Luna: Because I finished the mission of the gods. Noctis : even when you're finished, you can still be with me right?" Luna: All the gods have acknowledged your power, the ring is going to be back in your hands. Luna walks away Luna: When you go back to your friends to visit Tenebrae, there will be alot of flowers awaiting you! Noctis: what about you? Luna changes older Luna: For you to come to see me is enough. (For her to be happy in hidden words as my mom explains) Noctis: But why...? Even if I died, all I wanted was to save you." Luna: If you're feeling lonely, remember me. From now on, I'll be a little faraway but I will always protect you. " gives the flower "Goodbye, Noctis"
I honestly like her words about being lonely to noctis. The whole game we’re chasing after Luna. It’s like in Mario coming to the castle only to find toad telling you she ain’t here but instead of that he tells she died
The difference in performance between the English and the Japanese versions honestly do surprise me a little bit. I've heard from one of the English voice actors that they tried not to listen to the Japanese version that much and were given a lot of freedom while dubbing, but Japanese and English Luna in this scene are like day and night.
That's interesting, didn't know they intentionally not listening to the original japanese version. No wonder both Luna sound really different. English Luna gives the impression of a stricter and strong Luna with lots of responsibilities, while Japanese Luna sounds kinder like a kind big sis and sounds like she enjoy her life more than English Luna. In comparison, English Luna sounds more gloomy than Japanese Luna. You can hear in the tone, especially if you understand both languages. I love both though. Both gives impression of kindness, loyalty, and responsibility
Voice acting really sets the personality of the character, even if it's the same character. You can think of Japanese Luna and English Luna like two different persons. I think Japanese Luna sounds more fun while English Luna sounds gloomier (as expected of japanese and western culture). Love both versions.

It's... Better in English. This is the first time, something's better in the different language
Personally, I felt that the English vocals set a little different tone. Both are great nonetheless :)
Wondering, do you understand Japanese?
Cloud and Aerith vibes
Not a fan of the Japanese dub. I think it's Lunas voice, too high pitched for her. But either dub is great.
Yeah, it's too anime-eey
Japanese seiyuu is so cool! ✨
Is she older than Noctis??♡
Pauline IV if i know that Luna is older than Noctis, though I’m unsure about how much older she is. Though I remember her being 4 years older than him
Yes, in the game she's 24, Noctis is 20.
Yeah thought she looked like a teen and he looked like a baby!!:/
Eh... The english one is better. Sorry not sorry.
