PS4 lobbies are still active so I play this version even tho I have BF2. The power creep and Metas in the second one make it unplayable and I agree this version plays infinitely better

It warms my heart seeing people still appreciate this game and prefer this over BF2. Glad I'm not alone, this game will always hold a special place in my heart. Helped me get through senior year of high school and freshman year of college. Graphics, maps, gun play, and even tank heroes are so much better in this game than BF2

At least because it was maintained before the support was moved over to Battlefront 2. Now Battlefront is a mess with how it’s played, making Battlefront 2 seem more simple or at least more polished than the former.

It’s pleasing to know that this was before the Pulse Cannon having a bug where if you strafe even the slightest, the shot doesn’t hit directly at the target. Instead it goes to the side of the target causing a miss. And this match looks normal, nowhere near as crazy as people using rolls to move instead of walking or running when they should be doing either of the two. The gameplay for this battlefront was definitely magnificent but I dislike how players do what is impossible/not meant to be played in a way that just seems unnatural. From rolling as movement, somehow getting ridiculous long range kills from the edge of the map where the countdown should have killed them (let alone how could anyone see that far when there’s no dual zoom/magnification) and even going to a high altitude that could not be possible unless they try taking advantage of the glitch or whatever that allows them to bypass the game’s limit.

The best way to summarize the difference between the first and second battlefront was 2015 battlefront played like Call of Duty while 2018 battlefront played like Battlefield.

I HATED how EVERYONE used a fucking JETPACK. I never used one because it was ducking dumb for a Snow Trooper or any Trooper really to use one. Especially one that looked as lame as the one in game.
