About the velocity affecting dmg , it works both ways. Running / Diving forward gives you more damage but not by a lot. Walking / divving backwards decreases our damage dealt. Eat deals 650dmg, Charger leg has 650HP, but the projectile launched is affected by -1 dmg as soon as it's shot and continues to lose dmg per distance traveled. So even at point blank range, you deal 649dmg vs 650HP of charger;s leg. so we're 1dmg short of 1shotting it by design. Diving forward, to get extra velocity damage to actually 1shot it is not a bug, it's how they programmed the game. The biggest issue the game has are damage tresholds where we are 5dmg short on Liberator's to 2shoting Devastator's heads, and anything that somehow surpsasses these treshholds is being nerfed.
It is a bug the devs messed up by using current projectile speed as part of dmg calc when it ahould be a fixed speed constant attribute of ech projectile. So player movement gets added to projectile speed resulting in the weirdness
I had a guy in my lobby give everyone 100 samples at a time, while spamming infinite turrets. Dude claimed he disabled the security and wrote the mod himself…. Agreed, tight security my ass 😂
kernel level only stops cheap cheats, its why you dont see a spinbotter every game like in counter strike. Valorant also has kernel and while it has less cheaters, its still a lot of cheaters. Doesnt matter how good the anti cheat is, you can never stop the resilient cheaters to find a way to ruin others games. Personally ive never encountered a cheater and ive played 300 hours so it does work.

there are 3rd party softerware (trainers) that when running alongside the game can give you all sorts of bonuses. like 999 samples of each sort, instant victory, unlimited ammo and many other things.
Rule 3 on Chaosdivers is no teamkilling or griefing. This faction was made just for fun role-play so people would have fun instead of attacking AH for nerfs. It was not to make people's lifes difficult. But thank you for showing off my capes designs!
As a Chaosdiver I will say this, first of all if you get team killed, it's not a chaosdiver it's a troll or just a toxic asshole online that just wants to ruin your game, secound of all I'm in the chaosdiver discord channel and they are really chill people that are just sick and tired of getting all of the weapons nerfed to hell by the devs.
I'm glad they hacked the samples, boring ass community objective. We've been full on samples, medals, etc for months... Remember when we got to choose between the airburst and the tank mines? And then they proceeded to give us tank mines over and over? What happened to offering us stratagems for community mission objectives? Fetch quests are the epitome of smelly ass goals.
I knew it... I knew it all along, no matter what we do THEY DECIDE if the general orders will be successful or not. And so the same goes with the attack of the Automatons towards Super Earth. Like "Good job Helldivers you defended the last sector before Earth *phew* close one". Every Helldivers in existence: "WE DIDN'T DO FCKING SH1T!!!"
Yeah, I have zero expectations that the whole bot situation will succeed. They'll just say "oh players came and stopped it and now the bots are pushed back hooray" and no one can prove if it was real or not.

@@thepersonyeah9680 and the thing about that as well, is that both the IC breaker and flamethrower are very much usable still. You just can exploit the front armor of the bugs anymore, so you won’t be dealing damage as insanely high and quickly anymore. Obviously I sympathize with the sentiment of AH prioritizing too many nerfs,and we as a community should stand up against that. However, doing so at the cost of hurting the experience for people who are new to the game or have not been as effected isn’t ok. I get it, it’s bullshit and changes like these shouldn’t be issued nearly as frequently, but I’m having fun still, and I know about 20k other people also do as well. At the core of things, I think HD2 is still a good game.
About the 'walk/dive forward to make rockets leg Chargers properly'. When the devs said 'this will be fixed', I am 98% sure that they meant "We will make it so that moving forward doesn't give speed to projectiles." not "We will adjust the falloff or damage numbers to make rockets leg chargers properly." because it's these people.
I don't care about MOs anyway. There is no reward for them at all since I am capped on everything 70% of my playtime. Arrowhead really sucks balls at creating reward systems.
Or perhaps some players play too much😂 I play about two to three hour per day as total and if reward were any less, or any more stuff to unlock, i would never be able to catch up. Majority of players are not grinding one game as a nolife. This system is fine.

I don't know whether you can't play, you ignore samples while you play, you play low lvl missions or maybe started playing recently (I play since release which might explain why I have more progress in unlocking stuff) but situation where game offers nothing to players that actually know how to play is hard to be called "fine". Being capped is not only thing for me but also most of my friends. So I am pretty sure reward system in this game is just garbage.
Im capped since june and my ship is fully upgraded. The lack of content kills this game and of course they are way to busy nerfing weapons instead of adding content
after 150 hours I'm capped on my ship upgrades and i am the type of guy to grab a sample rather than stim at low health and in immediate danger, and i don't count warbonds since a ship upgrade does more than a primary, but its fine, I've played games less than this one. There isn't supposed to be an endless amount of new content to unlock, most games don't really give much after the first 50 hours so its okay.

the calculations at the start would only work if every player where to go solo and also only work if everyone plays nonstop without sleep. So basically we where screwed from the beginning. If you think about it, if we didnt get help from the cheaters we wouldnt have completed it.

Fila explained the drop off awhile back. As soon as a round leaves the barrel it experiences drop off. It’s like .1 but it rounds down so if your gun is supposed to do 200 damage a round it’s automatically going to only do 199 even if you’re point blank. So if you’re shooting something that takes 200 damage to kill guess what? You need a second shot for that1 damage left lol
As a representative of the Chaosdivers I'd like to put it as simply as possible: we do not support team killing. Never have and never will. Anyone who throws up "Super Earth must burn" or any derivatives is just hijacking the name to justify their awful behavior. None of us want to ruin the game for anyone.
Had a helldive today where the party leader said he would kick anyone not killing their teammates as a protest. So of course I brought the 380mm barrage and airburst rocket launcher, and made the bot match a pvp match.
Let it burn. And of chaos divers want to really help, do missions and fail them. You can fail them much faster than people can complete them, and it hurts the purges on any given planet much more. 1 chaosdiver can undo the work of 10 or more groups just by going in and failing missions as fast as you can.

Apparently, it doesn't affect the liberation progress on planets, just personal stats. Team killing seems to be the most effective outside of not playing
@@hollowparagon1102 Teamkilling and failing mission on purpose don't make the liberation regress (i don't think so). Fighting bugs neither. But fighting bugs will make the liberation not progress at least, without killing players and still playing the game instead of just being afk

Alright fine. I'm a chaos diver, but unlike a lot of others that do there stuff. I say 3 simple words expressing how much I hate doing what I do. "I'm sorry brothers." It goes either I get kicked, get insulted then kicked, or killed but the players try to convince me to not give up hope. I do hate it, but it's the only way these devs will understand clearly. Been over a week and nobody can join my squad and sos beacon doesn’t work so my games dead until they actually know about this and get a fix! People said clear cache and delete cloud save and I did with nothing changing! I’m on ps5 and I just want to play! 😞
As far as I know, the SOS beacon does work. When it's activated your mission will have a ping on the galactic map of the planet it is on. It's just a gamble wether people see it or not, though I agree the SOS beackn could be better, like sending players a message about where help is needed and giving them the option to go there quickly

If they make a chaosdiver faction i think what it should do is hinder us from liberating a planet pretty much the enemy appears once maybe twice during a 40 min mission which pretty much uses guns so effectively that it feels like a boss enemy keep in mind there would only be one or two of these enemies. not only that but they can go to any planet at anytime they do have a homeworld but Super earth wouldn't know where its at for a really really long time after they start showing up. this is all good on paper but it would be hell to code
Are those recent MOs still worth doing it? I'm already maxed out. They missed the chance to improve the progression system of the game. I hope they add stratagem/weapon upgrade that can be purchased using medals and req points

the devs are removing weapons that can do what teams can do too. before the update, the flamethrower was a master of all trades and the incendiary was an all in one primary with no downside. The devs are trying to enforce teamwork, if the game launched like this then people would base the skill level around teamwork, do your part so the others can do theirs. they then buffed the grenade pistol and it was a buff not a nerf unless if people usually die before picking up ammo in that case lower the difficulty, slugger was a buff c'mon its meant for close range and if it weren't then just use a marksmen rifle, cross bow, guard dog, walking barrage, and 120mm HE barrage. Yep encountered a couple chaos divers. Killed me 3 times with nothing around us. And another grabbed our samples we left on the extraction pad and dove into a non recoverable hole.. It succeeded in changing our lobby to friend or invite only..
I just got into this game. The very first issue ive experienced, is im trying to play harder maps,I join a game and with no warning just getting kicked off lobbys, how is someone supposed to get better at the game if you have people who kick you out of lobbys cause your using a certain weapon, or you dont know how the missions work, yeah no shit im trying to learn how the missions work.
Bro play level 3-5. It's a good start and not overly difficult to explore on your own. As a long time player sometimes I drop down the difficulty to mine super credits and I help out my fellow newbie Helldivers.
Unfortunately, people have level bias against lower level people. I used to get kicked off of Helldive frequently as a level 20 and 30 because nobody wanted to potentially put their trust on someone who doesn't have what they consider "qualified experience". I still get kicked occasionally as a level 46 if i get put in a lobby with 100+ players. Toxic people suck, sorry you're having to deal with that bullshit.
My advice is host your own operations. I do it most of the time, even when I was new to the game myself. That way you don't get kicked for no reason and still get to play with others. They'll join during the mission and learning is always good
@@Justeeeevy being lvl 20-30 on a super hell dive is not where you should be. Had a level 27 die 11 times on a bot mission. And I was the only one alive, not dying.

Ive really loved the game up untill lately. Been trying to farm super samples and keep getting tkd at pickup. Bouncing bugs, nerfed weapons, developers would rather talk to ai than the community.... yeah i think im done.
I think one of the big problem with weapons is the dev trying them to stratagems. They should have made stratagem weapons just...weapons . Some even unlocked by warbond , some by leveling up. That way they would have been able to propose actually good weapons instead of lackluster ones (after all they need money to keep the game running). It would have freed other stratagems slots too which helps against mots ennemies for free.
It might be cool if it was the hackers vs devs and they were able to form their own faction in a rebellion type thing. You would get "Secret" missions if you want to join the rebellion. Just an idea

I see no issue with the hack. It feels like we actually made progress for once against the war and finally it feels like we are using technology to win finally. This version of the game seems like it shouldve been helldivers one, and helldivers one shouldve been two. We’re damn near 6 months into the game and still no vehicles and the bots have gotten upgrades to their!!? How in the hell our enemy keep getting toys and we get roach bars as if we’re tailies on snowpiercer!?
Even though it's been nerfed a lot, I still have hope that it will get better and will keep playing! No matter how hellish it gets, it's called HELLDIVERS, we signed for it when we put on the capes!
@@patrick24085 cuz its a co-op game, they are removing guns that can do things a team can do. don't expect an exclusively co-op game to not be balanced around being solo, or an incompetent team. And yes you did sign up for working as a team, it is recommended and stapled into your eyes every time the word Helldivers was mentioned.
The chaos divers just show how deep the love for helldivers go people are actually roleplaying against suoer earth and are killing fellow helldivers in game. The "role play" for helldivers goes deep both ways

I have been in so many cheater matches with either immortal players or infinite sky laser calldowns, it does make the game seem pointless when people do this, but I guess people get kicks out of game exploits, not judging its just a thing. If anything the insane nerfing with weapons is super annoying.
It would be cool if they made mode where you can swap to a chaos side to have a limited amount of respawns and your job is to eliminate the good helldivers

About the velocity affecting dmg , it works both ways.
Running / Diving forward gives you more damage but not by a lot. Walking / divving backwards decreases our damage dealt.
Eat deals 650dmg, Charger leg has 650HP, but the projectile launched is affected by -1 dmg as soon as it's shot and continues to lose dmg per distance traveled.
So even at point blank range, you deal 649dmg vs 650HP of charger;s leg. so we're 1dmg short of 1shotting it by design.
Diving forward, to get extra velocity damage to actually 1shot it is not a bug, it's how they programmed the game.
The biggest issue the game has are damage tresholds where we are 5dmg short on Liberator's to 2shoting Devastator's heads, and anything that somehow surpsasses these treshholds is being nerfed.
The devs have stated it is a bug.
It is a bug the devs messed up by using current projectile speed as part of dmg calc when it ahould be a fixed speed constant attribute of ech projectile. So player movement gets added to projectile speed resulting in the weirdness

kernel level only stops cheap cheats, its why you dont see a spinbotter every game like in counter strike. Valorant also has kernel and while it has less cheaters, its still a lot of cheaters. Doesnt matter how good the anti cheat is, you can never stop the resilient cheaters to find a way to ruin others games. Personally ive never encountered a cheater and ive played 300 hours so it does work.

there are 3rd party softerware (trainers) that when running alongside the game can give you all sorts of bonuses. like 999 samples of each sort, instant victory, unlimited ammo and many other things.

As a Chaosdiver I will say this, first of all if you get team killed, it's not a chaosdiver it's a troll or just a toxic asshole online that just wants to ruin your game, secound of all I'm in the chaosdiver discord channel and they are really chill people that are just sick and tired of getting all of the weapons nerfed to hell by the devs.
I'm glad they hacked the samples, boring ass community objective. We've been full on samples, medals, etc for months... Remember when we got to choose between the airburst and the tank mines? And then they proceeded to give us tank mines over and over? What happened to offering us stratagems for community mission objectives? Fetch quests are the epitome of smelly ass goals.

@@thepersonyeah9680 and the thing about that as well, is that both the IC breaker and flamethrower are very much usable still. You just can exploit the front armor of the bugs anymore, so you won’t be dealing damage as insanely high and quickly anymore. Obviously I sympathize with the sentiment of AH prioritizing too many nerfs,and we as a community should stand up against that. However, doing so at the cost of hurting the experience for people who are new to the game or have not been as effected isn’t ok.
I get it, it’s bullshit and changes like these shouldn’t be issued nearly as frequently, but I’m having fun still, and I know about 20k other people also do as well. At the core of things, I think HD2 is still a good game.

About the 'walk/dive forward to make rockets leg Chargers properly'. When the devs said 'this will be fixed', I am 98% sure that they meant "We will make it so that moving forward doesn't give speed to projectiles." not "We will adjust the falloff or damage numbers to make rockets leg chargers properly." because it's these people.
Plot twist: there was no hacker and instead, it was a new “faction” about to be released that do not stand with Liberty.
I don't care about MOs anyway. There is no reward for them at all since I am capped on everything 70% of my playtime. Arrowhead really sucks balls at creating reward systems.
Or perhaps some players play too much😂 I play about two to three hour per day as total and if reward were any less, or any more stuff to unlock, i would never be able to catch up. Majority of players are not grinding one game as a nolife. This system is fine.

I don't know whether you can't play, you ignore samples while you play, you play low lvl missions or maybe started playing recently (I play since release which might explain why I have more progress in unlocking stuff) but situation where game offers nothing to players that actually know how to play is hard to be called "fine". Being capped is not only thing for me but also most of my friends. So I am pretty sure reward system in this game is just garbage.
Im capped since june and my ship is fully upgraded. The lack of content kills this game and of course they are way to busy nerfing weapons instead of adding content
after 150 hours I'm capped on my ship upgrades and i am the type of guy to grab a sample rather than stim at low health and in immediate danger, and i don't count warbonds since a ship upgrade does more than a primary, but its fine, I've played games less than this one. There isn't supposed to be an endless amount of new content to unlock, most games don't really give much after the first 50 hours so its okay.
I say let the game burn. It wont get better, Arrowhead doesnt care, developers dont care unless its a true passion project. Helldivers aint that my former fellow divers. Fila explained the drop off awhile back. As soon as a round leaves the barrel it experiences drop off. It’s like .1 but it rounds down so if your gun is supposed to do 200 damage a round it’s automatically going to only do 199 even if you’re point blank. So if you’re shooting something that takes 200 damage to kill guess what? You need a second shot for that1 damage left lol

As a representative of the Chaosdivers I'd like to put it as simply as possible: we do not support team killing. Never have and never will. Anyone who throws up "Super Earth must burn" or any derivatives is just hijacking the name to justify their awful behavior. None of us want to ruin the game for anyone.
Had a helldive today where the party leader said he would kick anyone not killing their teammates as a protest.
So of course I brought the 380mm barrage and airburst rocket launcher, and made the bot match a pvp match.

And of chaos divers want to really help, do missions and fail them. You can fail them much faster than people can complete them, and it hurts the purges on any given planet much more. 1 chaosdiver can undo the work of 10 or more groups just by going in and failing missions as fast as you can.

Apparently, it doesn't affect the liberation progress on planets, just personal stats. Team killing seems to be the most effective outside of not playing
@@hollowparagon1102 Teamkilling and failing mission on purpose don't make the liberation regress (i don't think so). Fighting bugs neither. But fighting bugs will make the liberation not progress at least, without killing players and still playing the game instead of just being afk

Been over a week and nobody can join my squad and sos beacon doesn’t work so my games dead until they actually know about this and get a fix! People said clear cache and delete cloud save and I did with nothing changing! I’m on ps5 and I just want to play! 😞
As far as I know, the SOS beacon does work. When it's activated your mission will have a ping on the galactic map of the planet it is on. It's just a gamble wether people see it or not, though I agree the SOS beackn could be better, like sending players a message about where help is needed and giving them the option to go there quickly

If they make a chaosdiver faction i think what it should do is hinder us from liberating a planet pretty much the enemy appears once maybe twice during a 40 min mission which pretty much uses guns so effectively that it feels like a boss enemy keep in mind there would only be one or two of these enemies. not only that but they can go to any planet at anytime they do have a homeworld but Super earth wouldn't know where its at for a really really long time after they start showing up.

the devs are removing weapons that can do what teams can do too. before the update, the flamethrower was a master of all trades and the incendiary was an all in one primary with no downside. The devs are trying to enforce teamwork, if the game launched like this then people would base the skill level around teamwork, do your part so the others can do theirs. they then buffed the grenade pistol and it was a buff not a nerf unless if people usually die before picking up ammo in that case lower the difficulty, slugger was a buff c'mon its meant for close range and if it weren't then just use a marksmen rifle, cross bow, guard dog, walking barrage, and 120mm HE barrage.

Yep encountered a couple chaos divers. Killed me 3 times with nothing around us. And another grabbed our samples we left on the extraction pad and dove into a non recoverable hole.. It succeeded in changing our lobby to friend or invite only..
I just got into this game. The very first issue ive experienced, is im trying to play harder maps,I join a game and with no warning just getting kicked off lobbys, how is someone supposed to get better at the game if you have people who kick you out of lobbys cause your using a certain weapon, or you dont know how the missions work, yeah no shit im trying to learn how the missions work.
Bro play level 3-5. It's a good start and not overly difficult to explore on your own. As a long time player sometimes I drop down the difficulty to mine super credits and I help out my fellow newbie Helldivers.
Unfortunately, people have level bias against lower level people. I used to get kicked off of Helldive frequently as a level 20 and 30 because nobody wanted to potentially put their trust on someone who doesn't have what they consider "qualified experience". I still get kicked occasionally as a level 46 if i get put in a lobby with 100+ players. Toxic people suck, sorry you're having to deal with that bullshit.
My advice is host your own operations. I do it most of the time, even when I was new to the game myself. That way you don't get kicked for no reason and still get to play with others. They'll join during the mission and learning is always good
@@Justeeeevy being lvl 20-30 on a super hell dive is not where you should be. Had a level 27 die 11 times on a bot mission. And I was the only one alive, not dying.
I don’t believe it was hackers, I think it was AH. They made a near impossible MO on purpose. Then ended it and blames it on hackers. It’s a cool story and gets people upset at chaos divers
@@chi7818 wouldn't surprise me, they already have a track record of fanning the flames for their own entertainment. They might've been hailed as heroes during the initial week of launch, but they're the exact opposite. They don't give a damn about their players, they just want our money.

Ive really loved the game up untill lately. Been trying to farm super samples and keep getting tkd at pickup. Bouncing bugs, nerfed weapons, developers would rather talk to ai than the community.... yeah i think im done.
I think one of the big problem with weapons is the dev trying them to stratagems.
They should have made stratagem weapons just...weapons . Some even unlocked by warbond , some by leveling up.
That way they would have been able to propose actually good weapons instead of lackluster ones (after all they need money to keep the game running). It would have freed other stratagems slots too which helps against mots ennemies for free.

It might be cool if it was the hackers vs devs and they were able to form their own faction in a rebellion type thing. You would get "Secret" missions if you want to join the rebellion. Just an idea

I see no issue with the hack. It feels like we actually made progress for once against the war and finally it feels like we are using technology to win finally. This version of the game seems like it shouldve been helldivers one, and helldivers one shouldve been two. We’re damn near 6 months into the game and still no vehicles and the bots have gotten upgrades to their!!? How in the hell our enemy keep getting toys and we get roach bars as if we’re tailies on snowpiercer!?
Even though it's been nerfed a lot, I still have hope that it will get better and will keep playing! No matter how hellish it gets, it's called HELLDIVERS, we signed for it when we put on the capes!

@@patrick24085 cuz its a co-op game, they are removing guns that can do things a team can do. don't expect an exclusively co-op game to not be balanced around being solo, or an incompetent team. And yes you did sign up for working as a team, it is recommended and stapled into your eyes every time the word Helldivers was mentioned.

The chaos divers just show how deep the love for helldivers go people are actually roleplaying against suoer earth and are killing fellow helldivers in game. The "role play" for helldivers goes deep both ways

I have been in so many cheater matches with either immortal players or infinite sky laser calldowns, it does make the game seem pointless when people do this, but I guess people get kicks out of game exploits, not judging its just a thing. If anything the insane nerfing with weapons is super annoying.
When I saw the MO, I honestly wasn't looking towards it and we wouldn't have completed it, but for it to be completed by hackers is not right either
