Glad you like the truck Jason . We got 3 when they came out, 2 defenders and a bronco for myself. The bronco has better approach/ departure angles and not nearly as top heavy as defender, but they are great due to size , we had fun building courses in the house when it was -35 c , we’re in Alberta , it allowed us to rc without going outside , but still capable enough in summer as well. Put them in a backpack etc , as they’re much more portable than a 1/10 scale, 1/5 scale, anyway I hope you have fun with it 👍
I always thought you were on the bandwagon with one of these but welcome to the club😎 Great truck. If I must suggest one thing, get the low speed gears. Best upgrade for it. Not sure on pricing in CA but $5 in the US and money well spent. Takes the crawling model to the next level.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs It does slow it down but the control is so much better. Plus you could put it in trail mode to speed it up a bit. Haven't tried it in sport mode with the low gears yet but you lose the drag brake but not sure how much the low gears would compensate for it.

Bronco is better stock than a upgraded defender
The Defender has always been plagued with issues when it comes to crawling. But I just love the look of them.

Does it slow the truck down a lot? I found it now all that bad with the stock gearing. But did notice a little "lag" when climbing.
