    I love how your videos are always straight to the point, but not bare. You include plenty of tips and tricks to not only make things easier, but to have better quality videos in the end that the creator can feel proud of. You're just what this scene/community needs, honestly.

      So glad to hear that!
      We had the question coming up quite frequently on the discord as well, so I thought it was time for a tutorial. :)

    This is an older video. I do have a question how can you see yourself as your record through obs? When I record I can't see my avatar. Is there a way to see it or not?

    • @LadyAska

      @@HaiyaEnaOtaku-lb8up It's older, but honestly nothing changed.
      You can usually see your avatar in the OBS preview.
      But that is only useful, if you have a second monitor, where you can have OBS on one and whatever content you are recording on the other.
      BUT, if you want an avatar on screen and are using a .vrm, I recommend using VMagicmirror as a tracker.
      The software is free and you get to see your avatar on your screen at any given time, which can be super useful during recordings.
      Just make sure that whatever other content is recorded goes over a specific window and not over the screen recording.
      (otherwise you could see yourself double ^^')

    Is it possible to set up Vroid to track a pre-recorded video? Like I recorded some gameplay and commentary without the vroid, can i still apply my commentary to the vroid in an editor later?

    • @LadyAska
      @LadyAska  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Absolutely!
      This is exactly how this video was created to be honest :)
      You record your footage of whatever you want and then record yourself with the avatar after.
      For this recording with the avatar, you will record yourself in front of a greenscreen (since this is all digital, you just pop a green background behind your avatar, before recording)
      Then after, you put both together in your editing software of choice (like Davinci resolve or PremierPro) and edit out the greenscreen! That’s it! :)

      @@LadyAska what about if I already recorded the voice? Is there a way to animate to a pre done vocal or I have to record voice again and try to match it?

    • @LadyAska
      @LadyAska  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ashleynv Yeah, in that case, I would just move the mouth to the audio.
      Shouldn't be too complicated. You got this :)

      @@ashleynv Just record yourself with you listening to the audio and acting upon it. (Like lip syncing) you can cut that audio track off after and just put the real audio together with the clip, once you edit your video :)

    There are a few black frames on your opening

    • @LadyAska
      @LadyAska  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know...you can't believe how frustrated I was, that I couldn't fix it.
      The worst was, that it was fine in the first draft. I spent 1hour trying to fix it after and in the end it was either having to delay the video, have 0 transition or have the transition, but a few black frames.
      I have this problem since the latest Premier update.
      Everything was fine before that or at least my workaround got rid of them.
      If you know a way, I would be so thrilled to hear it, so I don't have to worry about that for each video.
      Thank you for the honest feedback, I always appreciate that! :)
