Day 4. Draining and insulating a basement. Timelapse

Starting to build insulation and backfilling the first corner, expecting heavy rains and I want to avoid making more of a mess then necessary.

Very impressive system for insulation and waterproofing. I also appreciate the care you are taking to install the system the way the manufacturer intended. It can be the best system in the world - but a lousy installation ruins everything. Your excavator with the articulating bucket and quick change feature is sweet. Just the kind of machine you need for this precision work.
When doing your final grading - I will suggest cutting a small swale between the house and the garage that will drain all the way from the backyard to the street.
