- Here we will make a yard space of an area that has previously been difficult to use.
At the same time, we connect and update the rest of the surface in front of the house.
This means major changes both indoors and outdoors, as the new homeowners are in the middle of renovation and remodeling inside.
The homeowners also assist me on this one.

@@Bcc0rg has a back country operator doing what he can with what he has. He doesn't have a boss that just orders equipment as the need arises but I do get what you are saying.

You really need to weld a new “skær”, (dont know what you call it in english) on youre shovel, a pro driver like you needs that sharp blade to cut through Ground !;-) that profil shovel is the best, and you drive it like a dream, just need a little love haha👌

I don't often post negative comments, but not moving that roll of white geofabric (looks like it) was a very lazy move. Otherwise, im impressed as usual...

While I agree it should have been moved sooner, it was moved when it was needed to be and ignored when it wasn't important to dig near it.
Edit: I've now progressed further into the video, and see slight damage to the frabric, but it's not going to harm its use.

Question about hydraulics: when you run that bucket, can you not run a thumb because the machine is capable of 2 way flow only, or can you not run a thumb because of pressure or mounting issues?
I’ve never seen a thumb in Scandinavia. 3 of my family members in northern Norway are excavators and my father in law has equipment and none of them have ever used a thumb. On the west coast of the USA where I live almost every machine has a thumb.
@@MatthewWilson83 yeah i live west coast as well. I was more wondering about the hardware capabilities than the answer you gave, but it makes sense
You can run a thumb also. It is just a matter of how many hydraulic outlets that the machine has been set up for. I have two extra foot pedals in my machine that allow switching between what outlets the thumb controls on my joysticks operate. I also run a Rototilt but have additional outlets to run other things at the same time.

As a total excavator noob I must ask, is there some kind of automated system that keeps the bucket level when you pull it towards yourself (when leveling ground) or is that done completely by operator?

No automatic system but if the hydraulics are set upp right the bucket is kept fairly level if both joy sticks are pulled back the same ammount at the same time. At least in the close proximity of the exavator. It takes more operator skill to keep it level if the bucket is extended far away from the exavator.

@@weirdbeardgarage It's not super hard. It's like riding a bike. You couldn't tell someone exactly how you turn and so on, you just do it.
