    10:25 Thank you for your video! I applied the thermal paste as you have shown (line in the middle). I may have used a little more of the paste and now I have the feeling that my laptop is getting hotter than before. Have I used too much? I have read that too much can impair heat dissipation.

      It's my pleasure my friend.
      🫠Regarding your question, i don't think you have placed a lot, just a line is fine, open it and if you see the paste is over the CPU and to the sides then sure you have placed a lot. also make sure you use a ORIGINAL branded thermal paste like :
      thermal grizzly kryonaut: amzn.to/3WItVQW
      this is the best thermal paste for the laptop, there are many fakes out there.

    Hello, could someone tell me what size the iHS of the Ryzen 5 3500u processor for laptop is, I was researching and I can't find that information, I'm asking to buy a kryosheet thermal pad of the correct size. Greetings

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Regarding your question, no laptop uses a IHS, or the PC CPUs use IHS.
      now if you mean the dye size of the CPU then that is something else, if you want to place a kryosheet you will need to get a Kapton tape and tape 1-2cm around the CPU or GPU dye, then get : 24 x 12 x 0,2 mm

    I'm watching this on my Huawei Mate D14. I used to be able to play Genshin and Tekken 7 at medium graphics but now it tends to overheat. And lags a lot. I know a lot about computers I built and fixed a lot of them but I'm not familiar with laptops hardware. I did what I know like resetting it, debloating it and etc. Now, what's left is checking the hardware.

      regarding your question: we do get this issue a lot in the store with same problem, its is not software issue. there are two issues 80% its a lcd cable that is loose at the back of the LCD connector, 20% is the LCD you will need to replace. in the store we have screens to test. also connect HDMI out and it should not flicker.
