My head just exploded. I led You Deserve It All for the first time at a conference last weekend. I picked it up from a prayer room set with David Forlu. I tell you the roof almost came off of the place - such high PRAISE and GLORY filled it. That was JOSH BALDWIN!?!? 😭🙌🏾 So cool!
Worship is vertical. Reaching people is horizontal. Reaching (through song, teaching, preaching, etc) is almost always the first step. It’s calling them to the throne room before they can pour out in the throne room. Radio is horizontal. It’s a great way to cry out to the masses who may have never experienced true worship. I was a PK and led worship at a tiny church for far too many years before I understood this. Thank you, Josh, for articulating how to navigate both.
Green Room is my favorite podcast ever!!!!! Will is such a great host. He is so funny and always has the best questions. Every episode has been so amazing! Also, yes everyone needs to listen to Taylor Armstrong’s music. 🎶
Josh!!! I love this guy. He reviewed one of my songs at WorshipU in 2018 and it marked me for real. He sang a melody back to me that I wrote and I was like 🤯 so thank you Josh- for protecting your heart and serving the Lord consistently
‘You deserve it all’ God used this song powerfully in my healing of grief after the death of my sister. The bridge.. ‘Through every loss or victory my soul will rise to bring you glory’ 😭❤️🩹
Love this so much, thank you guys! I get so excited every time a new episode of Green Room comes out. Your love for people, and curiosity about their stories blessed us so much Will. ❤ My inner worshipper and songwriter was so inspired by this episode. Thank you Josh for sharing your journey, and please write that song you started on this show! It’s beautiful! 😍 “Made for More” is amazing too, just listened, so encouraging. 🥰🙏
Love love this podcast show!! Will you ask such great questions! Questions that everyone is wondering about but no one ever says out loud! 🙏🏼 great interview! Ministered to my heart as a worshipper and songwriter.
The Holy Spirits on the first part of the song you sang, there's power on that lyric. Time stamp1:23:14 when you start singing. Ya'll need to finish this song, it's an important message for this age of a fatherless generation.
I always liked John Mark McMillian’s original song “How He Loves.” The “sloppy wet kiss” part was always beautiful to me. I have lost loved ones like my sister and dad and that song has really helped me during grief journeys. His song has a grief story behind it if anyone ever cared to look into that. 😀
This Podcast is the Joe Rogan Experience for Believers! I love the conversations you do! Would love to see you sit down with Damon Thompson from Damon Thompson Ministries!
I’ve been following this podcast and love it!! I’m from Boone NC (work for Samaritans Purse) and just heard you worked in Wilkes! Small world! Where were you going to church??

I am SHOCKED Josh says that You Deserve it All is a deep cut 💀😭 it’s been my favorite for years and we do it at my church constantly !!!
Yes, I don’t think it’s a deep cut. It’s a popular worship song to me but I also adore it.
Thanks man... It's always so refreshing to hear from the Willing Heart 💜😂
I love these …….
Check out writing worship community too! So good!

Taylor Armstrong is indie worship. If you are into that scene you will know who Taylor is.
You make me laugh. You’re old. Almost 45 and 42 soon. I’m 73. We can talk. 😂
