People need to grow up and learn that musicians who are leaning to the more artistic side of music HAVE to try a lot of genres, try different vocal ranges, rap styles etc.If they kept their original sound with each comeback, people would still complain saying "omg, they keep copying their old style and they dont try to make new styles".some people WILL NEVER be satisfied. Dionysus was the god of fertility, wine, religious ecstasy in Ancient Greek religion and mythology. He used to throw parties with orgies, lots of wine and food. lol Mikrokosmos is the greek word for Little/Small (mikro-micro) World (kosmos-cosmos)The song could have two meanings. 1) In the song they say about how one person in a world of 7 billion people seems so small but means so much, and/or 2) they may refer to Bela Bartok's Mikrokosmos, which are progressive piano pieces in 6 volumes. Was waiting for your reaction Queen, amazing work as always, keep it up ❤
Thank you for your input! And i completely agree with you, there will always be people unsatisfied unfortunately! BTS really is teaching me a lot hahaha always using references Anyways, thank you sweetheart 💕
they never actually lose their sound cause from the beginning they keep changing and experimenting new sound. I mean look at all their title tracks. after fire they did bst then spring day, and even tho all those songs did well, they didn't made the same sound and created dna, then fake love, then idol and then now BWL. they never played safe and keep doing the same thing that made them popular and that's something we should appreciate from an artist.
Exactly as hardcore army since 2013 i can confirm this i laugh so hard everytime some people said that bts "lose their sound" because BTS since the begining constantly changed their sound and concepts every comback none of their title tracks or albums sound the same , they were always experimental so i dont understand what that people is talking about it is like that kind of fans or casual listener get stuck in one bts year/album or era and never even tried to update themselves of catch up it is like they purposely and conviniently get stuck in one era of bts , those fans get way to attached to one bts album/era/comeback and they never get out of that state , BTS is all about changing and experimenting and that is why i love their music so much they never get me bored and I'm always expecting the unexpect with them it's really exciting for me i love experimental artist , in fact I always stan experimental artists like bts over the predictable ones so I'm used to the constant change of sound and concepts the worst thing a fan of an experimental group/artist can do is get stuck or way to attached to one particular sound/album or concept from the artist , so i suggest those people to unstan and let the artist go because they are only trying to hold the artist back from evolving and limiting their artistic freedom and forcing them to be someone they are not and to do music that doesn't define them or really speak for them , i'm glad most armys understand that and have learned to evolve alongside with the boys but yeah I'm kinda annoyed by the ones who are still stuck and close minded i wonder why they don't let the boys go and go and stan someone else 🙄
I get what you say 100%. When I was a teenager I had a really rough time with my depression, anxiety, eating disorders and stuff like that. I tried to take my life many times, i hated myself so much it hurt so bad. But in 2014 I've found these boys and they showed me hope and light and peace. I didn't hurt myself after that. Sometimes it hits me what would have happened if i didn't find them that time. It makes me super emotional and grateful that they saved me. Nowadays I'm fine, some days are better some days are worse, but I'm alive and I'm never going to give up. They are my light. They make me so happy and sometimes just to know that they're thinking about us ARMYS and the way they're loving us is enough to make me feel joy. It's weird and sorry for the long comment but i had to get it out of my chest ❤️❤️
*I swear to God if I’m ever at a BTS concert and they start singing “HOME” I will cry myself on the floor into a deep sleep. THAT IS MY BIAS SONG on the album!!😩💜*
that one high "note" in dionysus that had you :o was actually jin, he said he was going home from recording one day and pdogg stopped him and asked him if he could kind of scream in dionysus so thats that

BTS- Map Of The Soul: Persona (Album Review) (Before I do this, I'm in no way a music expert, but I can hear things from each song that no one else does.) Track list: 01.Boy With Luv feat. Halsey 02. Mikrokosmos 03. Make It Right 04. HOME 05. Jamais Vu 06. Intro : Persona 07. Dionysus Persona: This is such an intriguing song. bts have always been experimenting around with their sounds and this is no different. the electric guitar in the back seemed so weird at first listen, overlayed with hip hop beats, but then i found that it blended it so well, and provided a sound that just lingered around my ears, making me want to come back to this song. rm went with this aggressive rapping and raspy tone in places, which i think added so much color to the song. tbvh, i've never been a huge fan of rm's voice in itself, even though i always found his rapping skills flawless, but the amount of times i listened to this already says how good of a song it is. i loved that the instrumental kept changing throughout, with a wide range of sounds fading in and out. it's just rm rapping for three minute straight, yet it didn't have a single second where you'd get bored. the story in the lyrics is one of rm questioning his existence, on a journey of discovering himself and his flaws. the mv gives off old school vibes, as it take us back to their "skool luv affair" era, but there are also other reminders about their previous releases here and there. it was so meticulous and well thought out. i feel like all the dummies in the back could represent the different aspects of rm's "persona", but again, these can be interpretated differently. Boy With Luv: I wasn't expecting this feature of halsey, at all, but i'm so proud of my boys, really. this funk pop song got me hype as from the teaser itself. it's such an upbeat, fun song that makes me want to get up and dance along. jimin opening up the song in his sweet voice got my attention right away, if not for the synth filled instrumental. the little "oh yeah oh yeah's" are gonna keep playing in my head, i know this already. the whole pre-chorus is so addictive and the quick build up to the little drop was so smooth. the chorus is my favorite part, as the sythns from the start kick back in. onto yoongi's part, tbvh i'm not sure what to think of the distinct flow, but i loved the second part of his verse. hoseok came in with a very hoseok-ish color, a slower pace than yoongi and that made the song all the more interesting. halsey's voice was pretty much only heard in the second chorus with the "oh my my my", she only sang that part, yet it already put in such diversity, even though i wish that she had an actual verse. i've always loved jungkook's vocals, and i loved even more how it was sandwiched between halsey's voice. namjoon had his full time to shine, with his usual stellar rapping. the instrumental is so highly detailed, with all the little background vocals, the melody loop, bubbling bass and the different sounds they added. this is seriously going to be the summer song. Mikrokosmos: British producer duo, arcades, worked on this track, as well as 'Jamais Vu', with bts and they did say they weren't trying to emulate the kpop style or anything, they just wanted to make a good song for BTS, and they sure did. The boys are lyrical geniuses, really. "we're shining brightly, in our own rooms, in our own stars" this was such a simple line, yet it hit so hard. they're still trying to inspire self confidence in us. their 'love yourself' series is over, but they still leave these little messages that bring us this feeling of solace. "i got you" they say they, or rather, their music is here with us for these lonely nights we have nothing else to hold onto. i love the random tinkling sounds in the background, and how it slowly builds up to the chorus. rap line once again brought us different styles, with these more energetic and bright verses. the harmonisations towards the end of the song were so pleasant to listen to, while the subtle high note showed the full extent of their capabilities. Make It Right: Ahh, the song Ed Sheeran participated in. this started with horns-like melody and blanketed vocals, until the sound got fuller and it started bulding up to the chorus. i love the smooth and easy going vocals here. i especially liked how tae went falsetto, and how jimin went with this deeper tone in places. the hook was a tiny bit underwhelming, no lie, but i think that it was the theme of the song, and it's very charm. hoseok's sing-rapping part striked yet again, it was short, but impactful nonetheless. the lyrics depict a story of finding someone who's been wandering, and giving them the love they need to heal, thus "making it right". the beats come in again as we reach jungkook's part in the second half of the song, before it explodes again into the chorus. i loved, absolutely adored yoongi's part here and i really wish it had been longer. the delicious bassline was also much more prominent during that part. overall, a light and sweet song with polished vocals to get you through the tough days. HOME: Just from the title of the song, i expected a home-like, warm and comforting feeling. what i didn't expect was a slick r&b track with trap beats, fast rapping and "mi casa's" in lush voices. a finger snapping beat fades in, in the pre-chorus and fades out again as we reach the chorus to give way to the trap beats yet again, overlayed with the sugary sweet voice. this is apparently a song for army, saying how we're their home, a confidence dripping anthem over such a delightful tune, and little synths scattered through, especially in the chorus. i feel like it's gonna be a slow charmer for me, since it'll take a few listens to fully grow on me, but at the same time, i feel like it's a really easy to get addicted to song. also the throwback to 'no more dream' with yoongi's "big house, big cars, big rings". Jamais Vu: This is probably my favorite b-side here. this song is so beautiful. starting with the near-acapella vocals, with jin's and jungkook's emotion-laden voices, until it got to the slow, emotional rapping and they conveyed the feelings of the song so well. hoseok's rapping really shined so much here, in his own definite style. the subdued instrumental put the full focus on their voices. i loved how there was this guitar in places, and subtle hip hop-py beats, which managed to blend in perfectly without taking away the ballad-esque feel of the song. jungkook's voice in the chorus made this so ethereal, his voice always has that effect for me, like it makes things feel really dreamy. jin's airy vocals were a perfcet fit for this pop ballad. this song is basically a cry for help, asking for a remedy, for someone to save them, while telling us how it would have been better if real life was a game, and that is so relatable to me. i often have this desire to run away from problems, you know, drowning yourself in a game so you can't think about real life. so this song touched me on so many levels, it already made its soft spot in my heart. Dionysus: The most intense song of the album, providing a break from all the fun and lightness. i think this could also become my favorite b-side. i can't place the exact genre, this feels like a mix of hip hop, rock and electronic, taking us back to bts' old style. i seriously love how it started with effects on hoseok's voice, layered with slight disk-scratching and transitioned to namjoon's tight rap, over the music that gives the old school hip hop vibes. jimin's part is so catchy, and the harmonisations in the back made this all the better. the autotune on their voices come back in the later verses, then dispersed again, this was very well arranged as a whole. the rock feels come in with the addition of the electric guitar, along with the drums that feel like they are ever present throughout the four minutes. there's this little break after yoongi's verse and the music comes back even stronger, with this high note in the back, is that jin? i'm not sure but i loved it. it ends with the electric guitar, keeping the rock feel to the end. ok no, i might even like this a tiny notch better than boy with luv.
Omg exactly what i thought, i used to not appreciate jins vocals, but after i saw him sing live it like he completely flipped my list... idk what it is but hearing him sing in real life is like magic
Mon classement : 1- Boy with luv 2- Make it right 3- Mikrokosmos 4- Dionysus 5- Home 6- Jamais Vu 7- Intro: Persona Et j’adore ta chaîne et ta personnalité ❤️
I think that Jin got his fair part this time. Earlier, he was just kinda ignored most of the times. He has his very deserved lines this time. Love you Seokjinnie
This is the first album ive ever listened to where I like *every* song but my order is 1. Mikrokosmos Jimin and V solo (You got me, 난 너를 보며 꿈을 꿔 I got you, 칠흑 같던 밤들 속 서로가 본 서로의 빛 같은 말을 하고 있었던 거야 우린 Is my favorite part 2. Home (Taehyung and Jungkooks part at the end with "Your touch your touch your touch I need that, aNnaNInANa I love it" is my fav part 3. Boy with luv I've waited all my life 네 전부를 함께하고 싶어 Is my favorite part but when performing, the adlibs that Jungkook adds that you can faintly hear in the song is definitely my favorite parts 4. Jamais Vu Jungkooks solo "I guess I gotta deal with this, deal with this Real world" is my favorite part 5. Make it right "I could make it better I could hold you tighter 그 먼 길 위에서 Oh you're the light" *Then beat drop* Is my favorite part 6. Intro: Persona "Persona! Who the hell am I I just wanna go I just wanna fly I just wanna give you All the voices till I die I just wanna give you All the shoulders when you cry" Is my favorite part 7. Dionysus Honestly Sugas rap is my favorite part. The flow is crazy! And Jin scremo parts is always a part to look out for. Butttttt I honestly think JHope did the best in this song. His parts were the ones I think about the most after listening to it. Yeah that's just my opinion don't hate on me.
Your reaction was literally the best one so far! And please don't apologize for showing your emotions it's even more beautiful that you show your true feelings. That's what I love about your reactions. Feel hugged gurl! 💖
This album was dedicated to ARMY so the lyrics have a lot more meaning for me. I discovered them when I was having a really hard time and their music always helped me. I don't know, maybe it's stupid because I don't know them or anything but they helped me so much.
Yayyy 😥 i lovee you so muchh❤and i felt the same things for "Jamais vu" yeah its a very emotional song 😪😭❤(je suis françaises mais jregarde quand même tes videos en anglais )
Your reaction is so omg... so sweet I love you, your personality omg you are so pretty and sweet and I think that your opinion in this Album is so true omg ! ❤️💍 ILY sm
And Ed finds them and gave a song sample to make a collaboration 😭😭(cries in joy) and tbh I didn't know Ed was participated on the song producing but I really had the Ed Sheeran's vibes when I first listen that song
found your channel from your reaction to everglow’s adios and have been progressively going back on your reactions to some of my fav groups (svt, twice, blackpink, bts, stray kids...) and wow, you’re reaction to this album really hit me. I got into kpop only recently and boy with luv introduced me to bts but mikrokosmos made me luv bts. So seeing your reaction to the lyrics and the emotion you felt that I had felt too really made you stand out in my eyes among many reactors. You connected to the song which made me connect with you
In fact, their messages are so important and touching. First time I listened to K-Pop was BTS. At the time I was going through a rough year and they really brought the bits of smiling and laughing to my life ^^ Now I can enjoy so many other artists too, very thankful for them
Every time I listen to Mikrokosmos I always wanna cry too. It just has that effect on you!! Same with Jamais Vu. Ughhh the whole album is just... wow. Each song has different vibes. I really have no words just all these feels 😭♥️
Yeah I know but still I like this BTS even more. What is there to argue about? I love them this way they are still exploring and Mikrokosmos and Dionysus won my heart in this album. BTW, Hi.
@@amann_fr that's what i love about them they aren't afraid to explore and do lots of different genres but after all that they never lost their hip hop vibe btw im glad you like this album it's a masterpiece ^^
Just i correction they never stop doing hip hop it is just that they are constantly experimenting with other genres and sounds and i think it is better like that i like experimental artist like bangtan over the predictable ones , there so many beautiful and interesting music genres and sounds that it would be a waste of talent if bts would have sticked only to hip hop i love the bangtan of today as they are experimental, and chameleonic it is way more exciting and less predictable but that is my personal opinion of course
I love your reactions so much! Every time listening to music, watching mvs you look so proud, peaceful and cute.💕 Actually, I can not pick only one track of this album as favourite because this album is one the best I've ever listen to! It sounds so different in comparison to all their previous staff: groovy, refreshing, old-schoolish💘 Can you react to 1The9 "Domino" and "Spotlight"?😊😳
When I was at Day 1 and Day 2 of their concert in Chicago I cried during Mikrokosmos because I realized there leaving Chicago soon 😂😅 and during Make It Right I felt empty because Jimin and Jungkook kept saying “I could hold you tighter” I started breaking down because I rlly wish they could. BUT IM IRRELEVANT and they don’t know I exist ✌️✌️
Jin’s actually the one doing the high notes in Dionysus 😊
I am impressed and surprised tbh 😱💕
@@GZBKarmaactually PD told him to just scream and he did it xD
@@kka6146 of course he did. He probably didn't even question it
THIS ALBUM IS SRSLY SO MATURE AND SO VERSATILE I CANT---
Jin’s doing the high notes, and when u talked about jamais vu i cried haha ily

That high note in dionysus was Jin screaming in the background
jamais vu is my most favorite song in this album.
jin is doing 90% of the notes
"It's not just music, it's a message." ~ you nailed it, gurl ♡
I think that Jin got his fair part this time. Earlier, he was just kinda ignored most of the times. He has his very deserved lines this time. Love you Seokjinnie
Absolutely! The parts are very nicely divided and jin getting more exposure vocally speaking is defintiely welcomed 🤩
This video just shows serendipity as an add💜💜💜

Honestly Sugas rap is my favorite part. The flow is crazy! And Jin scremo parts is always a part to look out for. Butttttt I honestly think JHope did the best in this song. His parts were the ones I think about the most after listening to it.

This album was dedicated to ARMY so the lyrics have a lot more meaning for me. I discovered them when I was having a really hard time and their music always helped me. I don't know, maybe it's stupid because I don't know them or anything but they helped me so much.
It's definitely not stupid and i assure you that many people understand your feelings 💕
@@GZBKarma thank you 😊
Same girl.. Jamais Vu spoke to me the most.. and I also cried. i feel you. 😭

Make it Right was produced by Ed Sheeran.... boys have come so far
They deserve it 😭💕
And Ed finds them and gave a song sample to make a collaboration 😭😭(cries in joy) and tbh I didn't know Ed was participated on the song producing but I really had the Ed Sheeran's vibes when I first listen that song
if you want to go to their concert there still are places!!
This reaction gave me goosebumps. 😭
found your channel from your reaction to everglow’s adios and have been progressively going back on your reactions to some of my fav groups (svt, twice, blackpink, bts, stray kids...) and wow, you’re reaction to this album really hit me.
At the time I was going through a rough year and they really brought the bits of smiling and laughing to my life ^^ Now I can enjoy so many other artists too, very thankful for them
i think you really had the right feelings that BTS wanted their fans to have: comfort, warmth and a message of love to each other.
Every time I listen to Mikrokosmos I always wanna cry too. It just has that effect on you!! Same with Jamais Vu. Ughhh the whole album is just... wow. Each song has different vibes. I really have no words just all these feels 😭♥️
Mikrokosmos is just an amazing beautiful song with a lovely melody and heartfelt lyrics!
BTS has lost the Hip Hop Warrior vibe obviously but this new BTS is even sweeter and better.
Mic drop, outro tear, ddaeng & dionysus say hi
Yeah I know but still I like this BTS even more. What is there to argue about? I love them this way they are still exploring and Mikrokosmos and Dionysus won my heart in this album. BTW, Hi.
@@amann_fr that's what i love about them they aren't afraid to explore and do lots of different genres but after all that they never lost their hip hop vibe btw im glad you like this album it's a masterpiece ^^
@@adorabletaetae Tru
Just i correction they never stop doing hip hop it is just that they are constantly experimenting with other genres and sounds and i think it is better like that i like experimental artist like bangtan over the predictable ones , there so many beautiful and interesting music genres and sounds that it would be a waste of talent if bts would have sticked only to hip hop i love the bangtan of today as they are experimental, and chameleonic it is way more exciting and less predictable but that is my personal opinion of course
Hoseok has most of the credits for both producing and writing Dionysus! He is a god i swear...
Jamais vu is the best😭😭😭😍😍😍
tes mots sont magnifiques...vraiment
💕
for me it would be
1. Make It Right
2. Home
3. Dionysus
4. Jamais Vu
5. Persona
6. Boy With Luv
7. Mikrokosmos
The way MOTS:PERSONA is touching every ARMY's heart, this album could be my PARENTS♡♡♡

On pleure ensemble 💕😭
Ouii😭💜
I love your reactions so much! Every time listening to music, watching mvs you look so proud, peaceful and cute.💕
Actually, I can not pick only one track of this album as favourite because this album is one the best I've ever listen to!
*Jimin is the one doing the high notes right ?*
*SURPRISE IT WAS JIN!*
