I love how in the flying theater all the other scenes are like "Wooow look at this historical moment!" but first they have to go "Wooow look at this stadium we killed a bunch of slaves to build isn't that cool?"
3:58 it’s not about the price but Qatari people prefer going out rather than visiting a theme park and at winter we usually go to the desert where we camp from fall till winter ends
16:55 that’s the reason why level 4 of Lego bionicle power builders at legoland Germany is better than level 5. level 5 is just hangtime and uncomfortable inversions 4 is more fun movement, airtime and fun inversions :)
First, I don’t think I’ve ever got a sausage ad on TH-cam and I did this time so nice magic trick Taylor 5:12. Second, I thought Matt was going to have an easy win for funniest moment but he has his work cut out for him next episode after the zip line from Branson😂
so coaster studios plz reply to this im from qatar and the screen ontop of epiq coasters is broken its supposed to show spike the hedgehog explaining to you what a solar storm is then you get hit by it then you go up into that spike ive ridden it 5 times it was Awsome
we have a handful of park reviews we have lined up first we need to get through, and then we will start of the parks from this trip, in order of when we visited them.
Hub Zero is a defunct FEC in Dubai that used to have a robot arm that had a dome screen under the name Dragon Age and now it has been moved and renamed to the Guardian. Now it is at Fantasy Island in the UK
Based on your trip to Meryal, it seems as if you visited during Ramadan. If that was the case, the attractions in town are usually much slower during the holy month.
I get the same vibes from this as I'm getting from travel vloggers going to countries like Turkmenistan. It looks cool and shiny and expensive, but where is everybody?
Unfortunately the reason this mall and the area around it was so empty is because most of the people in Qatar are making minimum wage and the government is using their money on these tourist attractions that the citizens there will never be able to afford it’s sad but the truth
I mean... if you want to ride Epiq while not necessarily returning to doha quest, go ride Deep Space in India. Epiq is literally that coaster with a spike hahahah
I'm really impressed that you trust the safety of those rides in that part of the world especially the robot arm. I would be too scared that this thing just slams me into the ground.
@@Goat_Girl_GwenWell maybe bc lives are not really valued there and the information about accidents will certainly be suppressed by the officials.... well not that it would matter. they already have nearly no visitors.
Not sure i can get behind setting aside all morals just to ride coasters in qatar. Seems a bit hypocritical when on other social medias we're talking about equality and including minority groups into the coaster community, yet going to a country that doesn't have full human rights, wouldn't recognize those minority groups as people , punish them in ways we don't really want to imagine if they were found out, and giving them money. Normally I really enjoy your content but yeah idk, from the outside it looks like all that inclusivity can take a back seat if we get to ride some neat coasters.
@nancyfarkas3592 I highly encourage you to look into qatar's human rights situation as well as what happened while the stadiums for their fifa world cup were being built
@@EvaineWell you shouldn’t be rude to them for simply travelling somewhere to visit some tourist areas. The rights and laws I heard aren’t good so I believe but it ain’t hypocritical for them to travel, have fun, and visiting these cool places. I’d wish to travel to those tourist areas down there but with that being said I probably never get to go there because of the laws and human rights stuff so I can get what your saying now but idk it still looks cool and glad they got to go.
@owennelson5176 when you stand for equality on your social media pages and become an ambassador in the community for that kind of stuff, you have the responsibility of being consistent with your morals. That's the position they've put themselves in, so I do think it's hypocritical that they did this. They're took a buisness trip to a country that would kill people that look up to them and people that they say they want to feel safe in the coaster community. I don't think they don't mean that kind of stuff, I do think they want to create a safe community for all, but going to Qatar is incredibly tone deaf then.
Actually quest is doing really good. It’s depends on the time and the day. Beside most schools have exams so people don’t go out very often till June. Also avoide going out between 10-3 pm because people only go out after 4 pm. Did you visit the souq or downtown or almaha island in lusail or the pearl it’s filled with people especially mediate central or alamaha And for the malls what you were in is a department store ( Printemps ) one of the high ends departments store from France - Paris brought to Qatar it’s not a typical mall. For malls you got Palace Vendome , mall of Qatar, Al hazem, Doha festival city , Villaggio and 15 more ! Please research your itinerary for the country you visit before you vlog and say anything .
UAE is kind of like North Korea, all show, little substance. Thank you, all of you indentured servants from all around the middle east who go and seek employment from the ultra-wealthy UAE elite class, for working and living in horrible conditions for our viewing pleasure. It's a real that the working class can't afford what you've built, you do good work.
Well it is in qatar, wich is at least equally bad regarding workconditions. It was a big topic during the last football worldchampionship. Dunno if "lol, you Named the wrong country" is the response you wanted to go with here...
Omg I can’t wait for the next episode. Matt in a WATER park is going to be EPIC 😂
#mattfandom
I'm ready for Matt Doesn't Like Water Part 2.
It going to be amazing! 😂
You two + the robot arm = comedy gold. Thank you for all the blood rushing to your heads, because it was worth it…at least for us!
I love how in the flying theater all the other scenes are like "Wooow look at this historical moment!" but first they have to go "Wooow look at this stadium we killed a bunch of slaves to build isn't that cool?"
This is epic! Amazing, high quality vlog. Such an amazing series so far, can't wait to see the next few episodes!
Matt was so proud of the Q joke 😂
It was so damn clever it took me literally 4 times rewatching it to get it, so imho he should be proud 🤣

HAHA😆😆😆

Oryx is the national animal of the country it is part of the antelope we call it Almaha 15:09
Im wondering under what conditions that coaster and the park were built...
Only person who mentioned this
Kafala system.
Right question, wrong channel

The guy lafing in the corner 😂
The reason why the place is so empty,bc us Qataris like to go out in the afternoon or at night like 4-7 pm not in the morning!
Due to ruptured herniated disks in my c spine, I live my rollercoaster dreams vicariously through y'all. Thanks! 👏✌️
so sorry to hear that but so glad we can help you out!
Are you going to six flags qiddiya on opening day?
NOOO... Not Melted Dobby
so coaster studios plz reply to this

Qatar national museum is built like a desert rose :)
I don't know when you plan to post reviews of these Middle Eastern parks, but I am definitely looking forward to them.
we have a handful of park reviews we have lined up first we need to get through, and then we will start of the parks from this trip, in order of when we visited them.
We went to Makkah and madina like 1 month ago there’s in taif a waterpark it’s very nice though
Hub Zero is a defunct FEC in Dubai that used to have a robot arm that had a dome screen under the name Dragon Age and now it has been moved and renamed to the Guardian. Now it is at Fantasy Island in the UK
Matt stole someone's purse. Shannon Sharpe style
Right before this I had a visiting Qatari ad😂🙏😭
"I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight" What the heck matt?😅
The National Museum is designed to look like a desert rose, which are naturally forming sand crystals that form in the deserts in the middle east
9:46 chicken
I mean, you're not wrong
Who is that strange 4th person traveling with them?
I was wondering the same thing
Isn’t that one dude gay?? I assume it’s his partner?? 😂😂
Great video! Epiq coaster looked interesting and unique! I really enjoyed watching this! Im looking forward to the next episode!
Kuka put one of these arms on an MSC cruise ship too.
That carousel is going to give me nightmares 😭
Why?
It's crazy how empty these parks are. There's so many that they're all just so empty.
Hexagons are the bestagons
The Paris merch is because Qatar own the Paris Saint-Germain football team (known as PSG)
Are both Matt and Taylor under 5'8"? Or were they not strict on the height requirement that RCDB says?
we're both well over 5'8". if there's a height limit, it is not being enforced
@@CoasterStudios Thanks for the info! Just was curious since I had seen that on RCDB, but we all know it's not always accurate 😃
I love the long lens shots of downtown 😍😍

We visited before Ramadan had started. It was the end of February.
8:10 that button holding on for dear life 😂😂😂😂
26:37 that’s French soccer team Paris Saint-Germain which is owned by the Qatari government
Football*
never expected it to be a sky rocket II
Well there is a travelling one in Riyadh Saudi Arabia called Sky Loop it is boulevard world at the moment
Qatar owns the PSG (football team of Paris) this is why you saw clothes of the PSG !
ahh gotcha!
I get the same vibes from this as I'm getting from travel vloggers going to countries like Turkmenistan. It looks cool and shiny and expensive, but where is everybody?
This was in a friday so its basically jummah like church day. Everyone is in the mosques
Did Sarah just say WTF at 16:29?
@28:07 OMG YESSS MATT IN A WATER PARK, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE!!! 😅💦
HEY!!! Who's the other guy hanging out in the background?
What the heck are IMG vibes 😅 3:28
Edit: What park are you referring to with IMG?
IMG worlds of adventure is the park they are referring to, they did it earlier in this series
@@Thefury325 Thank you! I wasn’t aware of that, I didn’t know it’s literally called IMG worlds of adventure. Any idea what IMG stands for?
@@DenniSundaY it stands for Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari the company that owns the park

Thats a very weird indoor coaster.
Where the hell are all the people?
Why does half of the train have comfort collars
the train does not have comfort collars
Not that it matters in the context of this video but I think “Qatar” is pronounced like “Cutter”
Forbidden Journey 3x speed
I'd be curious to see if they hung up the Israeli flag at 1:45 in the vid...
Does Matt have his partner with him I. Videos or is that a friend

Was Robomania really that bad? :o
it was not pleasant lol
Hexagons bestagons. And Sarah going barefoot on the flat rides is the most baller thing ever.,
How was it traveling between countries strict?
we didn't think so! it was fine for us!
One word: inflation!!! People cant afford traveling there anymore
the reason it was empty is because exams
Hey you should totally look into planet coaster and figure out which one you'd desperately want turned into an actual coaster
5:07 that sounds haram
I mean... if you want to ride Epiq while not necessarily returning to doha quest, go ride Deep Space in India. Epiq is literally that coaster with a spike hahahah
thats true I remember hearing about that!
They are trying to build their tourism up and we here in the US are so PROPAGANDIZED other countries we are told to fear
Sarah blink twice if you need help lol
I'm really impressed that you trust the safety of those rides in that part of the world especially the robot arm. I would be too scared that this thing just slams me into the ground.
Why does the part of the world matter? They wouldn’t want people to be hurt, that would hurt the reputation of a park anywhere in the world.
