@@Hkbgdhk yeah when the score is over par u could easily think that it would not be even close to 1000 rated but u know there are hard courses out there
For sure! The goal of making cash is too lofty, I think. The average tournament rating of last cash so far this season is ~1018 rated and that's for the whole tournament. Last cash at BSF was 1024 rated!
definitely right where you belong. so much hard work and giving us all a new perspective on the tour. watching the journey has been a highlight of the past few years for me
Well done Great to see you are playing at this level with some players that are going to be considered GOATs. Doing great for a TH-camr, which many people scoffed at, when you said what you were planning on doing.
Bro! I was just watching OTB/GK Pro skins and at 18 and a half minutes in I’m pretty sure they mentioned you when they found a chalk bag left on the basket. I’m a big fan so hearing them mention you on skins with some of the best players in the world o thought was pretty cool
Being on the card with AB was pretty cool to see, but yeah, that'd mess with the head a bit. I think you had some solid play. Bro, I'll say it again, upload a pic to your PDGA profile. I vote for the drawing Gannon did of you on your disc.
I'm so happy to see you're doing really well, given that you're playing some of the toughest disc golf courses and layouts in the world, and playing with the best players on the planet! Keep up the great work, Anthony!
Big fan and I think what you're doing is super inspirational so I say this with love but I think a step back for some perspective will be helpful. The reason you fall backwards from the cash line the longer the tournament goes on is because 90% of the players in the field are higher rated than you. Over 3/4 rounds, everyone - including you - is going to, generally, end up closer to their rating. BUT you finished 83rd despite being the 103rd rated player. That's still really good! The goal of making the cash line, while admirable, is a REALLY lofty goal. The average tournament rating for last cash is ~1018 and it was 1024 for BSF. Even if you duplicated your first round 3 times (your 5th highest rated round EVER btw), you would have still missed cash by 5 strokes. You've put up at least 1000 rated rounds at every DGPT event you've played and you are continually finishing well above where your rating says you should. That's good! Keep plugging away, hopefully by next year you'll be 1010 or something and averaging 1020 for an event won't be out of reach.
I was bummed I didn't catch you at this tournament, was waiting for my friends playing in FPO to finish so we could jump in the river lol. Also bummed to see you drop down the leaderboard even though we know you're at a level to cash at these events. There's many lessons to be ascertained in this stretch of your career and I believe you'll figure them out and reach many more of your goals/standards soon. Hope you enjoyed your time in Oregon and hope to see ya next year dude!
Man disc golf is so much more than having/getting the ability to throw. All strokes matter everywhere, but it's very hard to have neutral and effective mindset towards minimizing strokes all the time when you spend so much time playing. And have to deal with all the kinds of distractions through the rounds. But let me say: You're still getting better super fast!
The first round homie has got to be why you're doing it. Having someone happy to just watch you and help out with filming and getting a sick shot recorded is sick. also, poor Cup. We gotta get that fella's good vibe back. Also, you can score!
This is just an honest person but any video having to do with you and the pro tour is filled with excuses and negativity. I know you are being honest with yourself and others but maybe a mindset change would help
Duuuude. It’s kinda lame and unprofessional to make content while actively playing the course on the freakin PRO TOUR! I mean, recording is one thing,… but commenting and narrating is quite another. Weak.
@@cured_bacon647 Poor baby got her feelings hurt? Cmon dude,… if you think that’s good for the game,… then I assume you are an ma6 player. Am I close???;) XOXO
Shooting 1000 rated rounds on the pro tour is nothing to scoff at. Keep it up
The fact that +5 is 966 rated is crazy

Exciting news coming🤪 can’t wait to see how you announce it🎉
Just went to pdga and looked at the whole score board and who you beat. Man, so cool. Impressive results from your grind, love following you.
It was great to see you at BSF. Watching you guys play my home course was so cool. Great job
Yo I need a video soon it’s been to long!! Miss the content
There's an AB on every card you play brotherman, no pressure!
I see your playing at the fort this weekend. Good luck.
Watching this vid as it drops late night. The background music is giving toonami vibes
Excited to watch you at The Fort! My home course in Ogden! I play there 2-3 times a week I hope you enjoy it!
Keep up the grind.
I remember watching you throw on Florida on Dec 2022.
Look at you now.

I am new to disc golf and I dont care how you perform; you're still my favorite pro

Finishing when it matters is something I struggle with too! 👊
Gg man keep grinding
Great job saw you beat some card holders
14:18 but did you beat cake ?

People dont realize how difficult some of these pro tour courses are. Video and pictures dont do them justice.

This went way to fast lol
We are all rooting for you buddy. Keep at it you got it.
have you thought about trying a hop step on your forehand instead of crossing over your legs?

I think he's done with disc golf for the time being. Total guess but don't be surprised if he says he's stepping back to work on his game.

I love that Gannon just sht all over your bag in like 2 secs! Lol. TeamSquatch killing Grip!!
Do you speed up your videos?
damn he talks fast!
Keep it up brother. And,… ummm,…. Dutch the stupid cart and carry your bag or get a caddy!!
Stop looking at yourself as not as good as AB or any other big names. You need to know you’re good enough and you will succeed

It looks like he only did this a few times each round while walking between holes. He also was quiet. I really don’t think it’s a big deal.
Not too different than conversating with your card mates while walking between holes. I dont see a problem with it.
I just don’t think it’s a good look from an outside perspective. That’s all.
