Pretty common misconception about these trucks is that the side tool box means it is a camper special. The fact is the tool box is a stand alone option to the camper special package. (Although the majority of them had them because they are very handy with a camper taking up all your bed space!) The camper special package included a different frame harness that had a connector to hook up your camper but it also included long arm 3 leg western mirrors, cowl badges, amp and oil pressure gauges and heavy duty alternator and battery.

I'm sure you realize how fortunate you are...keep them buy another one like you said...I'm a two time cancer survivor and am currently having 0roblems again..in short I had to selll everything including my '78 f250 but I hope no I know I will get another hopefully a 70 model like yours though I could never have that much money..I love your trucks and you should keep both....Mary Ann needs dual exhaust and headers n that babygirl is hot! Thanks for allowing us view your beautiful girls.
For goodness sake if you haven't already sold one of these please don't and keep them both they are awesome. That is unless you want to give me one or both of them and then it's fine. Soooooo beautiful and enjoy them if it's just looking at them. 😃
More of a Chevy guy but these trucks are growing on me. Both are absolutely beautiful and I hope you ended up keeping both. If one did get sold, I hope it went to a good home where it will be taken good care of.
My Dad had a 76 XLT with a Cap, Customer refused it cause it had the 460. Bought it from Zeidler Motors in Medford NY. Blew away ALL the fast cars in the area! Him owning the Mobil Station in town didn't hurt. Lucky Penny.
They are absolutely work of art , Bumpside are the best looking and most legendary trucks ever , I call the Bumpside the holy grail of trucks! I’ve the Bumpside Broncos made in Brazil 🇧🇷, mind you Brazil built the 1970 model from 1971 till 1986 then a little cosmetic grille changes up to 1992 and they sold new until 1993 so Bumpside were made in Brazil from 1971 to 1992 sold until 1993 .

It's amazing that these trucks survived. They were work horses and were used and abused often with little maintenance. Treasure those gems!

Love them both. Wish I had either one. Maybe when I die and make too heaven God will let me drive his.
