    Here are a couple of tips that make assembly slightly easier th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . 1) One person can assemble, but if you have a buddy to help, it will make it go faster - especially steps 1-3 and 8 (the legs aren't heavy but can be difficult to hold while screwing things in). Step 8, 1st part will take some time unless you have two more hands OR are really lucky. 2) Use a socket wrench! 3) Step 7, 3rd part - the flame carry over tube has an open side, MAKE SURE THE OPEN SIDE IS FACING THE FRONT. If it's facing the back, the tube won't work. 4) Step 10, 3rd part - if you don't have small hands (I don't, they're gigantic) getting the nut on is really difficult (but not impossible). It took me about 4 hours to assemble, but I took a "union break" every 60-90 minutes and ate a quick lunch. Also, I'm really OCD so I took my time, looked at the instructions carefully, and cleaned up as I went.

    I always cook meat on the high rack on foil. It is able to cook in its own juice and also absorb the spices. When it's almost done I pierce the foil and let the fat drain away and crisp up the outside of the meat and keep the inside moist.
    Cooked my Christmas pork roast and veggies after watching one of your videos and it was perfect. Thanks.

      The whole idea of the oven is the convection to cook both sides evenly top and bottom at once and not sitting in grease

    I wonder why these ovens aren't so popular I got one last week and i think it's amazing so versatile. What advantage do you think a real oven has over this that u still do oven cooking for ?also is it true they cook steak etc from frozen perfecly through from the inside out becsuse of the infrared ? Thanks

    • @dereton33
      @dereton33  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The main thing a real oven has, is it size to cook larger chicken and joints ect. Not sure about the infrared cooking from the inside out. All I do know is that for two people it is the best, tasting better cooked in there than the oven.

      I find them amazingly useful, made lots of grilled wings. They are very easy to clear, just wash the whole glass container in hot water. The only cons is, it's hard to bake proper cakes or pies, the bottom are usually raw.

    Healthiest part to eat is the fat. Get your fat intake up to 70% of daily calories, your body will thank you, rest is protein, keep potassium supplements up and boys your uncle, lowered BP, no chance of getting any form of diabetes, or will greatly assist if your type one already, cholesterol will self regulate. We've been hoodwinked for decades on what's right, carbs carbs carbs, a big fecking no.

    So is using a Halogen cooker more economical then using an electric cooker what advantages have they over more conventional cookers, I'm new to the cooking/kitchen scene and this is a genuine inquiry, thanks for the video.

    • @dereton33
      @dereton33  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      belltop cone Yes it is more economical as you burn 2kw on an electric oven and only 1 kw on the Halogen oven, also cooking time is quicker, so more economical all round. Also it heats up very quickly. The advantage is the food definitely more tasty. Disadvantage, space on your worktop, and generally not so good for family cooking due to the size of the bowl. Hope this helps Jan

    Its actually ok to eat the fat,in fact its now been proven we need more animal fats(good fats) and a good deal less carbs. For more detailed explanation see LOW CARBS DOWNUNDER and enjoy the fat.

    I’m afraid you are completely wrong and need to educate yourself on that subject before you tell anyone what they should not eat.
