We have just about the same list. I have thought about this for years. I had bronze tiger for Batman but now I can replace. My list Steel but with an Nth Metal uniform and with the colors of Superman. Then we have Batwing and Nubia, John Stewart, Black Lighting. Noble and Blood Wynd ( Martian Manhunter). That would be my core members. Other heroes can come and go as needed.

Yeah I zero problems with this list. I actually think Mr. Terrific is on par with Batman too, and John Stewart has always been my favorite GL. The man's will exceeded his ring's capabilities. I'm also digging the new GL a bit in Far Sector; it's not bad at all.
I almost put her on the list, but I knew in my heart John needed to be on this team. He's too good. That and I'd LOVE to see this whole squad tackling God Tier threats. They could do it.
And I'd like to point out I'm not directly targeting DC stans but channels like Geeks and Gamers, Yellow flash and them fools. I've never looked at their playlist but all i get on my feed from them are videos bitching about what they don't like. I would love a Black JL book! Thought about that for awhile now. I loved Ewing's Mighty Avengers so I think the idea would work. I'd take out Bumblebee and Mr. Terrific because they belong on Titans/JSA. My choices? John Stewart Steel Vixen (That would be the Black Trinity to me) Black Lightning Bronze Tiger Skyrocket New52's Power Girl (with a better power set) And for a wildcard slot: Batwing Natasha Irons (maybe with updated hero persona)

I like these picks but I would at least allow aliens on to the team as I honestly don't think Steel could do the job as a Superman stand-in. His suit just isn't powerful enough imo. Ok, I thought both lists were strong representations of good teams. I like to take the 4 you agreed on (Black Lighting, John Stewart, Vixen and Steel) and take Mr. Terrific ( DC’s Reed Richards) and Nubia (Earth 23 version) from Column A and Cyborg from Column B. I think Cyborg’s digital connection is essential in today’s world. He would be the communications hub because every team needs a central hub when facing threats from everywhere. He is an essential worker. For my Younger version I would have From the Young Justice team- Naomi (the latest iteration of Super girlish character that I love) and Aqualad (Jackson Hyde), Far Sector Green Lantern Jo Mullein, Kid Flash (Wally West), Static (Virgil Hawkins) HawkGirl (Kendra Sanders) and Lighting (Jennifer Pierce)
I think Irons tech. should have been upgraded quite a bit. I think it should make him a techie match to a non-OP superman or maybe even OP eventually. I think his hammer should match Thor & Fear Itself. Also, so many that fly by tech. shoot flames from their feet. How about magnetism, static, etc.?

Great line up! I personally would prefer the Tanya Spears version of Power Girl over Bumble Bee, but I would be happy either way if a Black Justice League got their own book. Also, the new Creole version of Madame Xanadu would work as a magic based hero if the BJL ever needed one.

Icon is from Milestone Comics! As the man who does the videos said we don't know what is going on with Milestone at the moment due to a legal matter! It would be a shame if DC can't use the Milestone Characters anymore! Does Wildstorm have any Black Heroes? If Marvel and DC ever do another crossover it would be great if the could include characters from their parent and imprint companies! 'Time Warner VS. Disney with all the characters from all of the companies that they own and their imprints'

If we omega level in DC ,Black lightning would be that. Like how magneto Is with magnetic field, that's Black lightning is with the electromagnetic spectrum. If he was to stay in his pure form he basically invulnerable & doesn't need food or water. He's actually hella fast not as flash, but if I'm not mistaken he can move at the speed of light or close to it but not faster than it . Also stated Superman that if black lightning was to let loose & didn't hold back that he probably wouldn't be able to stop him because black lightning is in the same dilemma of having to hold back. Ohhh yeah he actually has black lightning (or had) which had unique properties as well.
Black Lightning is way more powerful than most people realize. They think the only thing he can do twiddle his fingers and make sparkles... Dude is practically a god.

Solid List, I can see the forming of this league from it''s original members and then bringing others along to form black justice league unlimited, but them being the core. You already know how I feel about my boy John Stewart who is also my green lantern. And a good love triangle off top would be Vixen, John, and Starfire that's gonna be lit AF lol. Yeah I zero problems with this list. I actually think Mr. Terrific is on par with Batman too, and John Stewart has always been my favorite GL. The man's will exceeded his ring's capabilities. I'm also digging the new GL a bit in Far Sector; it's not bad at all.
I almost put her on the list, but I knew in my heart John needed to be on this team. He's too good. That and I'd LOVE to see this whole squad tackling God Tier threats. They could do it.

I like these picks but I would at least allow aliens on to the team as I honestly don't think Steel could do the job as a Superman stand-in. His suit just isn't powerful enough imo. Ok, I thought both lists were strong representations of good teams. I like to take the 4 you agreed on (Black Lighting, John Stewart, Vixen and Steel) and take Mr. Terrific ( DC’s Reed Richards) and Nubia (Earth 23 version) from Column A and Cyborg from Column B. I think Cyborg’s digital connection is essential in today’s world. He would be the communications hub because every team needs a central hub when facing threats from everywhere. He is an essential worker.

Great line up! I personally would prefer the Tanya Spears version of Power Girl over Bumble Bee, but I would be happy either way if a Black Justice League got their own book. Also, the new Creole version of Madame Xanadu would work as a magic based hero if the BJL ever needed one.

If we omega level in DC ,Black lightning would be that. Like how magneto Is with magnetic field, that's Black lightning is with the electromagnetic spectrum. If he was to stay in his pure form he basically invulnerable & doesn't need food or water. He's actually hella fast not as flash, but if I'm not mistaken he can move at the speed of light or close to it but not faster than it . Also stated Superman that if black lightning was to let loose & didn't hold back that he probably wouldn't be able to stop him because black lightning is in the same dilemma of having to hold back. Ohhh yeah he actually has black lightning (or had) which had unique properties as well.
Black Lightning is way more powerful than most people realize. They think the only thing he can do twiddle his fingers and make sparkles... Dude is practically a god.

I actually caught your buddy's Alternative Factuals list first, and I do agree with him that Milestone characters should be included and that Icon should be given a pass, I actually like your list better. I would switch Bumblebee out for Rocket.
What about XS, you need a speedster. Of course the black Kid Flash could also fill that role. And the black Supergirl from Earth 2.
Solid List, I can see the forming of this league from it''s original members and then bringing others along to form black justice league unlimited, but them being the core. You already know how I feel about my boy John Stewart who is also my green lantern. And a good love triangle off top would be Vixen, John, and Starfire that's gonna be lit AF lol. Another Ship that could be interesting Mr. Terrific and Nubia. But This list would dominate for sure as the Black Justice League.
