- On todays episode we leave the Bronco and Gladiator behind to party with some good ol Xjs. We brought out my old Xj and put it through some more work and it did not disappoint. Were any of those XJs running 30/8.25 on 35s by any chance? I need some convincing that I can throw 35s on my 30/8.25. Otherwise Ill just go 60/10.5 on 37s+ and not worry too much about breaking something.

A 4wd without lockers is 1WD or 2WD at best when 4WD is needed most.
I agree with most of this for sure and also agree lockers really complete a 4wheel drive vehicle
@@TrailMilitia We differ a bit, I believe lockers start a 4-wheel drive project. No matter gearing, tires, lift, or engine they add significant capability.

The presence or absence of lockers gets quite a few comments, explaining why a vehicle is having problems while others are not. No comments on tire size, brand of tires, or lug pattern, long arm or short arm, coil overs or coils, size of lift, ground clearance, or amount of articulation. Just presence or absence of lockers. Maybe they are important.
Surely lockers should come before LED headlights, light bars, sound systems, roof racks, and the list goes on.
Vehicles that are fairly well outfitted are mostly helpless without lockers. Maybe people like that... dunno.
@@freeidaho-videos we can go back and fourth all you want lockers as important as they are do not completely make a vehicle a stock car with lockers but no clearance goes nowhere , the same for lockers on bad tires your importance of lockers is a little off but we are all entitled to our opinion. As for the narration of the video Under those circumstances yes the locker talk was it.
To say that nothin else matters is not smart either. As for light bars and all that I completely agree. To each their own though people learn as they go and buy stuff to their needs.

I would say the average was 35s
