Venue is less aerodynamic and kid venue is dct which is full of lag and to overtake fronx from a dig it needs more time and 100 kmph is just not sufficient.
I am using Fronx Alpha Automatic. It is a great car. As prior to buying Fronx, I had taken test drive of some automatic cars like, XL 6, I-20, Venue and Baleno. Fronx has virtually no competition. Engine of Fronx is very powerful and is made in India. If somebody compares the average of fuel consumption, Venue and I-20 fare very poorly. Fronx has very good average.

Interior is exactly same, so Maruti is not hiding anything, the thing is that's what the market wants. Baleno was the highest seller, when you lift it like a coupe SUV/Crossover, obviously people who had rejected Baleno based on looks or GC will now consider Fronx. This has worked and the Turbo Auto in Fronx has the same 0-100 timings of 1.5 DSG of VW Virtus and Slavia while costing 6-7 lakhs less.
This test is conducted on old venue which do not have updated back seat or ADAS.. I have the updated SXO which is fabulous. It does have 3 head rest and seat belt. Team should do a research before doing a comparison

Venue has a DCT which is why the launch is slow. Fronx has a torque converter which lets the car launch in a quicker fashion. Fronx is also a little lighter than the Venue

Hyundai is so premium that it uses same instrument cluster in verna, carens, and till seltos htx. Power window controls are also same touchscreen is also same . Hyundai uses premium halogen fog lights unlike maruti which uses LED foglamps in their cars. Maruti Suzuki uses fabric and leather on door pads and Hyundai uses hard plastic. Creta SX costing 17 lakhs on road has hard plastic no soft touch material even on door pads while 16 lakh grand vitara Zeta has soft touch leather on dashboard, and really good stitching on door pads. Grand vitara Zeta has auto dimming irvm which not there is 1 lakh costlier creta

Those mid variants of sedans don't offer 6 airbags and look like crap inside. Also, for city use why haul around a big sedan when all you need is additional ground clearance and comfort. And most buyers, esp. in the 15lakh segment are just frowning on "mid" variants, as they want only top end, times have changed.
Front exterior looks is wow but if we compare with venue, for me venue looks is more tougher and luxury, and the venue interior looks more simple clean look design. Both are a good choice in its segments 💪💪

Though the venue is more powerful(120 bhp) still it's slower in the 0 to 100 acceleration compared to fronx(99 bhp)?
It’s heavier plus the DCT slows down the launch, whereas the Fronx is lighter and because of the torque converter it has a better launch
