Scruffy you asked for comments so here goes. When I watched the video of that pilot I got mad as hell once again over what our own government is doing to our own people. I am in a wheel chair but I would crawl if I had to, to go vote and get every one of these traitors out of public office.
I don't know what I would have done. I'm a prepper and would have lost it all in flood water. They had no idea the water would get that high! How can a prepper prep for that?
If this was a flash flood situation there is nothing you can do other than the best you can at a time like this. If they had been warned to evacuate and didn't, then that is just stupidity.
You can't prepare for something like this. You can't even imagine the sheer amount of damage. Folks had their entire house wash away here. All you can hope is that you survive.

I lived in the Katrina disaster zone. It took me months to mentally get over that!! That's when I became a prepper
