I've been playing tenor saxophone for 5 months and got scammed by this company. I'm sharing my experience to this community in hope that it A) hurts the predatory company and B) saves the saxophone community from loosing money. Beware of Musecore.com - They are an online sheet music subscription service. They have scammed numerous people including myself by offering a "free" 7 day trial by promise. They charged myself and numerous others for a year subscription instantly and would not refund my money or change me to a 7 day account which is what I agreed to. They are based out of Cyprus in the Middle East and in my humble opinion, a predatory company. If you want more details, watch my 5 min video where I explain what happened to me and other musicians.
Let's ignore for a minute your racist comment that the Middle East "doesn't help their credit" but focus on your ignorance in thinking that "an island called Cyprus" is in the Middle East. Anyway is this company Musecore trying to pass off as the legit company Musescore? If so I suggest you get on to your credit card company and report the scam, and maybe let Musescore know that another company is using almost the same Trademark.
When I type in Cyprus into Google maps it literally says Country in the Middle East. You and I have different views on the Middle East, that's fine. It's not a different company btw. It's Musecore, and I hope others don't fall victim to their predatory ways like I was.
Cyprus is actually part of the EU but heu, there's shitty business practices here too x) Maybe try contacting your credit card company? I liked the music notation software but was annoyed at their new business model, yet another good thing ruined by a subscription model (and dark UX patterns to top it off)

@@saxophoneevolutionIt's the kind of situation where it can actually be both. It's geographically in the Middle East but administratively it's part of the EU. I said this because I would expect company bound by EU law to not be allowed to do this. Anyway, I hope more people will see your video, I'm sure countless musicians looking for sheet music are having similar issues :/

In EU Cyprus is known as tax haven and place where scammers, crocked firms and people hiding money open accounts because it's almost impossible to get money back. In my bank (i'm from EU) i can file complaint that someone charged me without my permission and they (bank) give me money back. But have to do it right away and not waiting for week or two.

Yeah, you have to be extremely careful because they hook people in that way then immediately charge their card for a year subscription.
How do you cancel the Musescore Pro+ Year long abo?
@@janchristopherheling7113 I had to reach out to them to have it cancelled. They may try and jerk you around with refunding your money though.
