My dad told me something when I show him the concept art of Atlantis The Lost Empire, he said that Ulysses is kinda like steampunk vehicle in Victorian times.

Milo: Excuse me? Excuse me? Y-you've dropped your dy-dy-dy-dynamite.
This and treasure planet are the two movies that warrant a remake in live action. They weren't super well received and they're set up perfectly for a transition to live action. Why disney doesn't get this, I'll never understand. Oh well, guess they'll just keep rolling down the line of butchering their most famous animated movies
My main concern with live action is the casting decisions. They always go with whatever actors are trending and popular for new movies, instead of choosing people that can really look the part the way the character looked in the animation. Kinda like with the Uncharted movies where they cast Tom Holland as Nathan Drake. I like Tom as an actor and a person, but I can't see him playing someone like Nathan so I didn't watch the movie lol. I don't know who would be good per se, but we saw how they casted the Mario movie lol
2:17 (after hearing this, made me think of a scene for one of my Sci-Fi Fan-Fics) one of my friends, (or rather, a fictional version of him) an Explorer, have finally earned enough money for one of the big ships, one that're known to be the best (but also most expensive) among those when "Purpose-built" for Exploration And now, he and his new ship, is taking off for the first time.

@@VaciliNikoMavich To be honest to me its the one that deserve it the most i would really to see the huge underwater battle. But if i remember well it was not a succes.
It wasn't a success because it wasn't the 'formula' people expected from Disney. After its release, about two, three years after, it ended up in plenty of people's Top Movies of 2001 lists. It's a well done movie, and deserves to be recognized. Hell, even if they just remaster it, I'll still watch it again.
I am imagining Germany having to step own their own submarine game until we have massive fleets of submarine battleships fighting the entire naval war under the ocean.
God forbid they make a live action remake because if they do, they better hire a director who understands the concept and feelings of Atlantis like the back of their hand, hire GOOD actors that can portray their individual characters well enough, we would believe that they ARE them, and most of all, they better have this theme. Or at least maybe re-tweak it to make it sound just a little different but memorable enough that we know it’s THAT theme they play as soon as they drop the Ulysses into the ocean.
Is it true or not that Lebo M., the singer who performed the opening of “Circle of Life” from Lion King, actually performed something in this movie as well? I hope he did!
I just wish the Ulysses lasted longer.
Lightray110 she's the single coolest submarine of the dieselpunk era.
You said it!
Too bad she didn't had sisters
I agree its actually a great sub and they were quick to destroy it
Who knew a sub could be a red shirt.
Hard to believe all this fit in a ww1 era freighter.
@ET Hardcorgamer Realistically, that makes sense. Large ships are assembled from pre-fabricated parts. I'd imagine that submarines are as well.
You'd be surprised...

This and "To the Spaceport" from Treasure Planet are the tracks that remind me of adventure during childhood.
we need a replica of this
yamm
Lego ideas? That would be sick!!!
Old comment, but working on it.
This movie was awesome
ya brrr i agree
why was?
Me to, but when Kida did the thing before Milo and her went for a swim...
2:19 what you all came for
I came for 0:32
The pretty much the same
Sooo epic
-10 seconds an it’s perfect
Can someone make this an Island Tune in Animal Crossing for me >.

As long as it doesn't get butchered,I'd love a live action remaster of atlantis
Yeah, i'd love it...

@Whisperware I didn't play the game, so I can't compare it, but in my opinion Holland played well.
This move had very cool musics
The most badass Submarine in terms of design, but it sucks it only has less than 5 minutes.
such a strange design for a sub but still amazing
That's classical steampunk
Helluva ship.
Shame what happened to her.

hell no
They could use this for a Disney ww1/ww2 movie
So this is probably the closest we are gonna get I mean it happends at the beggining of ww1, the soldiers even have gas mask and bolt action rifles.
Parts of this remind me of the music that plays for the ride Soarin'.
