2:27 is the best part of the scene of when the journey to Atlantis begins. I will never forget the very first time of when I first saw the movie at the local theater!
Spirz honestly, I kinda consider the Ulysses submarine as a Diesel punk probably because of the time period and Diesel punk has more military and machinery style.
Does anyone else think that near the ending, it sounds like a cross between Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copland and the Back to the Future theme by Alan Silvestri?
I took part in Magic Music Days at the Disneyland park with my 8th grade band and this was one of the songs we played. at least, the last part. Certainly a memorable event and I love this song :)
This is my favorite song~ We played it when we went to the performing arts stufio in Disneyland! :D We sucked terribly XD Only played it together twice before it was recorded. Favorite movie, thanks for the upload
Firstly, it's 'detour', but that's relatively less important. Secondly, that bit plays during Cookie's intro. And thirdly, I got your four basic food groups: Beans, bacon, whiskey, and LARD.
This theme almost sound like ww2 but in this movie it took place when ww1 started And the gas mask that the army have these task mask are created by Germany anyway
Me too. I'm not well versed in his work, but I do enjoy his "I Am Legend" score and his works on "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight." And "King Kong."
Well it is a soundtrack, I'm sure if it was an actual regular track that wouldn't be included but you don't have to make it sound so bad. Was made to accompany a movie, and it's really memorable that way.
"Rig ship for dive!" "Aye sir, rig ship for dive" "Lieutenant take her down" "Diving officer submerge the ship, make your depth 1-5-0 feet "Make the depth 1-5-0 feet. Dive dive! Ten degrees down bubble, take her down"
Hah... oh boy stargate is AWESOME:.. for those that dont know, according to cracked this movie is more or less based on the stargate movie from 95, which made road for stargate sg1 (97-07) which got 2 spinoffs, the latter not very popular, but the former known as none other than stargate atlantis :D 04-05 100 episodes from sga, 200 and something from sg1, and 3 movies...
This song is excellent in general. Buildup, climax tune. Gives you a sense of adventure. The only thing wrong is that stupid little deture down hillbilly street near the begining.
Yeah, that was a little forgettable. I'm not surprised Howard did it; I suppose it was a motif for Cookie (it's when he's complaining about getting "real food" for the troops and crew members).

One of Disney's finest cartoon masterpieces, also one of the finest disney soundtracks.
Happy 10th Anniversary to Atlantis: The Lost Empire. This track and the Crystal Chamber are two of this movie's most epic tracks.
2:35 is my fav part. The crescendo brings up what sounds like the climax.
this and the launch soundtrack from treasure planet are one of the best soundtracks that involves the departure of a certain sea vessel
"I got yer four basic food groups beans bacon whiskey and lard."
That was one of the funniest things said in that movie.
"I got your four basic food groups! Beans, Bacon, Whiskey and Lard."
2:34 guys...
ahhhh, the memories and the feels
You know what I would give to be in a live concert of this? (Monstly for 2:30 onwards)
A LOT.... I would give a lot.
Underrated movie
Just a question: can we consider the Ulysses Submarine, Nautilus Subpods and C-17 Aqua-Evacs as Steampunk machines?
They run on steam, but there is no inherent punk. Place a guy who hates the establishment in them and then you can start calling it steampunk.
Archerion
thank you
Spirz honestly, I kinda consider the Ulysses submarine as a Diesel punk probably because of the time period and Diesel punk has more military and machinery style.
YES
This is one of the best movie score songs EVER.
Does anyone else think that near the ending, it sounds like a cross between Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copland and the Back to the Future theme by Alan Silvestri?
Well ironically, Michael J Fox was Marty from Back to the Futurre
I love this movie.
Underrated classic.
carrots, why is it always carrots, i don't even eat carrots...
lol
All hands to the launch bay. And to whoever removed the 'L' from the Motor Pool sign Ha Ha Ha. We are all very amused...
"Excuse me? I need to uh, report in?"
"Mr. Thatch?"
2:10 onwards - just... wow! Sets the feeling of setting off on an adventure!
I took part in Magic Music Days at the Disneyland park with my 8th grade band and this was one of the songs we played. at least, the last part. Certainly a memorable event and I love this song :)
2:30
"Ummm, excuse me? You dropped your dy-dy-dy-dynamite..."
What else you got in there?
foefproductions Oh, er...gunpowder, nitroglycerin, notepads, fuses, wicks, glue, and...paper clips, big ones. You know, just, uh, office supplies.
Hey look! I made a bridge! It took me, what? ten seconds? Eleven tops.
Jeroen Vandewater clocked that Dutch name, are you from the netherlands or belgium?
I'm Dutch yeah, good spotter ;)
It gives off the feeling of getting ready for combat, like you're preparing for war
This track always makes me think of the Atlantis ps1 game. I think they used this track the most.
This is my favorite song~ We played it when we went to the performing arts stufio in Disneyland! :D We sucked terribly XD Only played it together twice before it was recorded. Favorite movie, thanks for the upload
oh man, this gives me goosebumps
Ahh, this just gives me the good kind of shivers.
this song just tells you how epic atlantis really was
Bellissimo ❤️🌟
Firstly, it's 'detour', but that's relatively less important. Secondly, that bit plays during Cookie's intro. And thirdly, I got your four basic food groups: Beans, bacon, whiskey, and LARD.
2:30 and onwars is epic and just so beautiful!! :D love it, and it brings back good times
Happy 20th anniversary to Atlantis!
@Tahu5Fan I learn something new every day.

This theme almost sound like ww2 but in this movie it took place when ww1 started
And the gas mask that the army have these task mask are created by Germany anyway
Me too. I'm not well versed in his work, but I do enjoy his "I Am Legend" score and his works on "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight." And "King Kong."
2:35 , tho...I mean, come on does it GET better?!
Vinny: "Hey, Junior. If you lookin' for the pony rides, they're back there."
"Oh hey, you dropped your d-d-dynamite..?"
I wish the epic parts of this song were longer like the sub part with the dun DUN DA DA DUN
@LuckyAmericanFilms And James Newton Howard helped out Hans Zimmer with those two Batman movies. It's all there in plain sight.
2:36
Chills anyone ?
2:34 You are leaving the school on friday!
Well it is a soundtrack, I'm sure if it was an actual regular track that wouldn't be included but you don't have to make it sound so bad. Was made to accompany a movie, and it's really memorable that way.
Why people don't like this movie is beyond me!
"Rig ship for dive!"
"Aye sir, rig ship for dive"
"Lieutenant take her down"
"Diving officer submerge the ship, make your depth 1-5-0 feet
"Make the depth 1-5-0 feet. Dive dive! Ten degrees down bubble, take her down"
ディズニーシーのポートディスカバリーで流れてるやつ…これだったのか…!!

Attention! All hands to the Launch Bay! Final Loading in Progress!
Attention, all crew to the launch pad. And to whomever took the "L" from the Motor "Pool" sign, ha-ha we're very amused.

The epic ending gives me the rancid shits, yo
I'm here because of the films trailer.
Yeah, that was a little forgettable. I'm not surprised Howard did it; I suppose it was a motif for Cookie (it's when he's complaining about getting "real food" for the troops and crew members).
The Country melody?
@Tahu5Fan try with "Hidalgo" or "Peter Pan". They are great ost
これ東京ディズニーシーで流れてるな
@Tahu5Fan Batman was Hans Zimmer.
