After years of infertility and miscarriages, my doctor prescribed progesterone after confirmation due to spotting. Sadly, I lost those twins at the end of 1st trimester. A couple years later, I conceived again and remember feeling implantation. Same stabby pain as ovulation. I decided to take progesterone immediately and not wait for a positive test. After so many losses, I was finally able to stay pregnant. I also have thyroid issues and other autoimmune conditions that perhaps was making it impossible for me to stay pregnant. I learned and leaned so much on YT during the trials of infertility and hope this comment can help someone.
Hlo mam I am also suffering from miscarriage .2 times it occurred with me 1st in 2018 and 2nd in 2021. Now once again I have tried to get pregnancy, and I got positive 2 days ago but the issue is that again I have lower abdomen pain like before, I am too much afraid.and have consulted to doctor ,doctor has taken blood and urine for test. She also told that this pain can be of before period, but when I had urine test it was positive. I dont know what is going on... I am too much afraid and sad.

Thank you for this info- I've have four losses (3 chemical, one 19 week), and lots of first trimester bleeding in my live births. After watching this, I quickly notified my OBGYN, and she agrees! So we're starting progesterone after my next ovulation, which will be our first month TTC after our 19 week loss in February. I'm feeling pretty optimistic, educated, and excited about these coming months!
I had three early term miscarriages then finally a full term pregnancy after starting progesterone after ovulation. When we decided to try for another baby I started on progesterone after ovulation and when we got pregnant it stuck. Maybe it helped, maybe it didn’t, but I wasn’t risking not taking it the second time. Turns out I also have a unicornuate uterus but I don’t believe that should matter… And I don’t think I’ve ever measured ‘low’ on a progesterone levels test. Pregnancy is such a crazy process.
Wen during ovulation did u take progesterone how is pregnancy going x ?? Also if was after ovulation how did u no ovulation had ended I just not sure wen to start taking it 8 mc so far 😢
When I saw the title for this video I had to tell you my story before I even watch it. Yes! Lack of enough progesterone can cause miscarriage and being put in the hospital and given progesterone shots helped me keep my first son. I had gone through a miscarriage before but I don't know if that was the reason. I had a wonderful doctor who I had just seen for a checkup and he told me I was pregnant.. I wasn't even a week late for my period and he told me that I was pregnant because my cervix was soft and purple . He was from Singapore and had a great bedside manner. Anyway I went to work. A few days later I started bleeding life my period. My boss made me call him and he said I was definitely pregnant and to meet him at the hospital. He put me in the hospital during thanksgiving and for 4 days and gave me progesterone shots 2 times a day.. Ryan was born the following June. I thank God and him everyday..
I had two miscarriages back to back within a few months of one another. One at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks. Currently 8 weeks pregnant and taking progesterone and everything seems to be going well!
Wow! Congratulations I took progesterone and then I lost the pregnancy at 7weeks, but many people said it's usually worked for them, so most people were placed on the progesterone till 13 or 14weeks gestation, Congratulations I hope and pray you carry yours till Term,🙏🙏🙏
I had this happen too and the third time around I took protesterone and got my baby last summer. ❤ I hope everything goes well to you too! 🤞🍀🤞 Sure I did other changes too, like took Q10 before getting pregnant.
@natalie crawford, Wow, what an incredible video! 🌟 Your talent and passion shine through every frame, and I'm in awe of the effort and creativity you put into this. It's evident that you pour your heart and soul into your content, and it truly shows. Nice one.
Thanks for the information, I recently had threatened abortion and I am Now using crinone vaginal gel 8%. This is my first pregnancy for 8 yrs of ttc so I’m praying hard for safe pregnancy journey.
I heard you say that you should start taking vaginal suppository twice a day of progesterone on day three after ovulation but I didn't see where you said how many days to do this for. Thanks so much for sharing this info! Lots of respect for you ❤
Thanks always for your content. I'm on progesterone and about 5.5 weeks pregnant. My HCG levels aren't doubling every couple days, but increasing 75-80%. It's got me in my feelings. I've been trying to stay emotionally neutral and not fully consider myself pregnant until I hear a heartbeat in a few weeks. Any videos on HCG levels?
I just want to give you some hope when I found out I was pregnant my hcg levels weren’t doubling I think they only increased by 70-80% and my progesterone wasn’t increasing in 48 hours either it actually decreased. I’ve gone on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby with no complications
@@Akobby155 Reading your comment really hit home with me . I am 3 weeks pregnant, my beta HcG did not rise to exactly what my doctor would have liked it to be yesterday, yet it is still trending upward. Last week being 127 to now 668. I get a repeat in another 48 hours because he believes I am having a chemical pregnancy (my 2nd one). But I truly believe I am going to be okay. Ultrasound was done, but he didn't see the gestational sac yet. I believe it's too early considering I am 3 weeks. But since my levels are high for 3 weeks he believes I am at week 5. Even though I don't specialize in OB as a nurse, I still feel optimistic especially with taking the progesterone that he wants me to stop... I am going to get a second opinion.
What about with smaller dose of progesterone? My doctor has me starting on just 200mg at positive test. Would this make a difference at all? It's half of the 400 mg you mentioned in the studies.
This is so incredibly helpful! My mother had 3 miscarriages and the only two live births she had were because she started taking the left over progesterone from her previous miscarriages as soon as she found out she was pregnant. My husband and I are going to start trying to conceive here soon and I have been trying to get into the doctor to ask if this is something I should be concerned about but I can’t be seen until I get a consult from my primary care, and their first appointment isn’t for another month.😅 so it’ll probably be 2 months before I can ask these questions. (Military healthcare 🙄) I’ll definitely be looking up these studies to read up on them! Do you know if there is any evidence of a genetic factor is progesterone issues? Thanks!!
Can you please elaborate on the possible risks for the baby and the mom when taking progesterone in early pregnancy? Also the difference between synthetic and natural progesterone pills
Hello- I just spoke with my doctor about progesterone, and she said there are no risks. I also believe that natural progesterone is sourced from natural occurring, bioavailable plants like yams/sweet potatoes, vs. lab made.
Thank you so much for this information. My OB prescribed 100mg vaginal progesterone for the first time , for me to use it as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test, I had 4 miscarriages since Dec, 2022. Now I’m ovulating and we’re gonna try to Convince this time again. This was very helpful because I can actually start progesterone as soon as I’m done ovulating. Thank you so much .
When I mentioned this to my doctor she said I don’t need to take progesterone because I’m able to get pregnant. However I’ve had 3 miscarriages. 1 chemical and 2 missed miscarriages. Not sure if I should listen to this doctor or get a different doctor.
If you have been with the same doctor and tried, yet had no success, switch doctors. They all approach the matter in different ways and methods. There will be a doctor's approach that matches your body. You will get pregnant and keep the pregnancy with a different approach. Also, take the Progesterone to ensure the levels don't drop during first trimester until your placenta takes over. Baby dust sprinkled your way!
I have a bit of ER situation, hoping to help my daughter. I had a history of low progesterone myself and suffered 5 miscarriages. My first daughter made it but I did have some spotting each time. My period might have happened then all the pregnancies after that kept mishearing and the OB I went to kept telling me at each miscarriage. The statistics are six out of 10 pregnancies and the miscarriage. It got to the point where I finally asked him if he knew how many times he had actually said that to me. And also common thing I would hear is well you know there’s probably something wrong with the baby blah blah blah. So then the door closed on that OB when I found myself pregnant again, fortunately opened up on another back then had some knowledge about this whole progesterone thing and immediately had my serum progesterone checked, which I had was at 12.3. The daughter that I’m talking about is that pregnancy and I believed it was because of him that I finally got my second child those seventh pregnancy. I was able to have two other children after that while taking progesterone and having my levels checked regularly. My last child that I did this thing routine I gave birth to naturally at the age of 42. my daughter who is now 25 almost 26 is now on this little roller coaster of low progesterone but the OB is saying that it’s not a problem. Last Tuesday she went from an 11.5 and by Friday was 7.1 to me that is too low. She had a sonogram yesterday that showed that she is seven weeks pregnant though she thought she would be about four days ahead of that, I don’t know if that’s a problem or not. The doctor also explain that a study has recently come out where they had a control group. Some women who took progesterone some who did not through the pregnancy and had comparable levels of progesterone throughout the pregnancy and it did not make a difference at all for those who were taking the progesterone and those who did not take it. Immediately told her that I wasn’t, but that I was a study all by myself and that every pregnancy I have where I did not have progesterone for my low levels did not make it and those that I did have progesterone for for those levels made it. Needless to say, I am very upset right now though my daughter seems to be doing OK. We told her that we will pay out-of-pocket if we have to and then she clarified that there is a very high price for even vaginal suppository is $100 a pop according to her. I’m still waiting to hear what my daughter‘s bloodwork was yesterday and to see if the doctor will at least prescribe the progesterone. My daughter is concerned about it, but this doctor put her at ease that she’s not too concerned I am the opposite. I am not at ease and I do not want my daughter to go through something I did, when it can be prevented, I believe. Also 26 years ago when I was on progesterone to have her, I got my progesterone from a natural store that made the compound themselves. This doctor is telling me that we can get this at a local Walgreens if she sends the prescription which I have never heard of a chain like Walgreens doing compounds like this. Otherwise, the doctor seem very knowledgeable, but I do wonder if you have heard of the study at all and are know anything about it. Apparently the insurance companies don’t want to cover it now that the study has come out. I think this is going to have a very significant impact on women who like me, and now my daughter have trouble producing the progesterone themselves.
Thanks for writing this. Any update? I have Kaiser and the call center doctor I spoke to when I started spotting at 6 weeks told me that for progesterone, there’s no evidence that it’s effective and that it’s basically a placebo effect. So I’m assuming that means Kaiser won’t even prescribe it, but I have to double check with my main OBGYN. I ended up miscarrying the baby 2 days later. I’m seeing comments from all these other women who DID get prescribed estrogen and had healthy babies, and it hurts really badly. My progesterone levels were never even checked.
I guess that is what happened to me. Abnormal scan result on w10, gestational age 8w. Missed miscarriage. Took the 100mg progesterone from w6 (two weeks vaginal, then oral) up to w10. No cramping, no spotting, just fading nausea and breast soreness. Was given the abortion pill (not the one to block progesterone) which worked but not well enough so had to undergo d&c. 34y, 1st ever pregnancy. HCG grew slowly, progesterone supplement at serum value 20 after having it at 30
Just recently had first round of results come back, will be testing again in 48 hours for progression, with 477 HCG and 23.64 progesterone levels. The internet is giving so many different responses for progesterone levels and I am curious if you have insight on "normal" levels.
It has helped me very much, but that’s because I used to get overly stressed and it would usually cause miscarriages. But since starting progesterone it’s been great.
I was 2.4 cm last Monday when I went to the doc and I started progesterone that same night and today Monday when I went back to the doc, I'm now 3.1 cm...I'm so happy. I'm not stopping it no time soon❤
Thank you Doctor, this was educating, but I have an experience😢😢 immediately after I test positive I told my doctor, he take placed me on the progesterone which I took for up to 7weeks exactly 7weeks 3days I lost the pregnancy, pls what could be the cause?? Is there any possible ways I can prevent such from happening in the future????
Can you make a toppic about missed abortion? Found out today that there where no longer a heartbeat but i did not bleed. I am still with in my 6 th week. recomanded that i shoud wait until couple of week everything clenses out by its self
I appreciate your videos Dr. Crawford. I had PPROM at 18.5 weeks with fraternal twins. During the pregnancy I had intermittent bleeding. It was thought at one point I had a subchorionic hematoma, but follow up US did not show it. I just found out this week I am pregnant again...very scared. Would starting progesterone given this history be recommended? Also wondering does a history of PCOS (me) make a difference? Thank you.
What if you don’t make any progesterone to begin with? Mine is 0.00. 😅 I have a period 33-58 days. PCOS. But when I got bloodwork done it was 0.00. Should I take progesterone with Letrozole?
Your progesterone is likely not rising because your not ovulating. Progesterone should rise after ovulation. The goal would be to get you ovulating and then test your progesterone levels
As always great info backed by scientific evidence! My question for you: your opinion on progesterone intake in case of spotting before period? No evidence of endometriosis, PCOS, uterine polyps, etc.. Thank you
My dr thought said I might be having a miscarriage and when I took my hcg they didn't even offer to check progestrone again. I think they should always check progestrone when checking ur first hcg. And they should give u results that same day. My dr didn't do that and also I had to wait 3 days! For results. Such bs.
Thank you for priceless info!!! If my 21st day progesterone is 33.21 nmol/L, would vaginal progesterone suppositories help get pregnant? All blood work is good with confirmed ovulation....I tried 100mg morning and 100mg night vaginal progesterone starting on day 3 after ovulation, but got negative pregnancy test on day 14 and stopped to get period. Do you think it's better to try 200mg morning and 200mg night for luteal phase support? 🙏
My Dr switched me from progesterone suppositories to progesterone in oil but I’m concerned because I went from 200mg in suppository form to only 50mg and injectable form a day. Does anyone know why that is? Especially when they switched me because my levels were dropping. 😣
My partner and I lost our first pregnancy this past week- the doctors said they weren't sure why it happened. That was a the worst part. Not knowing what we could or couldn't do. Her mother noted that she had three before she was born- and noted that she took progesterone supplements during her two successful pregnancies. How could we best asses if this is the case with ours? My partner also has hypothyroid issues so I'm pondering if that also leads to similar issues. Any advice out there?
My cervix is coming out a bit short. I'm currently pregnant. I was prescribed an oral pill of progesterone (but told to place it in my vagina as a suppository). Is that normal? I feel weird putting an oral progesterone pill in my vagina when the instructions say take it orally.
Is taking the capsules beneficial or would you recommend taking the vaginal over capsules? My doctor put me on the capsules bag in June of this year and I still haven’t conceived
Hi Doc @NatalieCrawfordMD - today I picked my medicine as PMS Progesterone 100MG, the description says USE 2 CAPSULES TWICE DAILY AS DIRECTED. Can you pls guide me how and when can I consume this? I has 2 miscarriages on 1st trimester 6 and 8 weeks 4 months ago. Pls guide. Thanks
What is the normal proestrogen level for 4 weeks pregnant? It’s fluctuating but did start dropping when I started spotting. My OB office won’t see me or test me for proestrogen until week 5 when they see the sac even though I took clomid for the first time, have a luteal phase defect and always have very proestrogen after ovulation. I’m nervous I’ll have a chemical loss as I am spotting like I usually do before period
My question is about miscarriage, spotting before my period, and the role of progesterone in each. I've spotted for a week before my period every cycle for the last year since going off of birth control. Otherwise, "normal" cycles. I have a short luteal phase and I suspect low progesterone. I recently miscarried at 8 weeks. Does the evidence say that the miscarriage and spotting are related? Would progesterone be a good thing to advocate for?
I also want an update! I'm an American in the Netherlands and they won't take my blood to check a damn thing until I've had my 3rd miscarriage (already had 2). I'm the same: spotting and short LT. I'm thinking about flying back to the States to get progesterone and baby aspirin (also can't get it here).
Spotting before your period starts typically indicates low progesterone. I’d would look into herbs to regulate hormones with potentially supplementing with progesterone if herbs don’t work.
But the prism trial was extremely irrelevant to the women than miscarried because they needed the progesterone support starting 2 or 3 days after ovulation. I had 2 losses and only started progesterone suppositories 200mg only started at 11dpo and 15dpo, well lost both pregnancies. 2nd pregnancy lost tested and chromosones of baby was normal. Saline sonogram and hsg said normal uterus. No blood clot disorders allegedly. TSH 2.3. I didn’t get thyroid antibodies and didn’t get T4, t3, reverse t3 but doc just ordered on my request, which my indicate aubclinical hyperthyroid and or autoimmune hashimotos? So difficult for me not knowing. What ruins me the most is that baby was genetically normal he said based on a blood test on my arm at 8 weeks6days the day I lost that baby, so maybe if I did the tissue chromosone test of the baby it would be more accurate. Just hope to god i can still have baby without miscarrying again. Lost both around 9 weeks seems like a clue to me, hope I can find out cause or maybe it’s still possible to have live next try without treatment? Should I take baby aspirin for no reason? I’m taking NAc and folate prenatals,
@@backtoGodhead0 Thank you for the love . I actually just got a positive pregnancy test today from a blood hcg blood test this morning! I have been working on my nutrition all year long mostly organic and seed cycling and so much protein and veggies. I used Nac daily and r lipoic as recommended in the book “it starts with the egg” I also give credit to the doctor that put me on 5mg letrozole this cycle which is higher dose than I tried before and also progesterone suppositories starting 1 day after ovulation and a lower dose than I did before, this time 100mg progesterone. When I tried 200 and 400mg progesterone before it delayed my cycle for a long time but I think the 100mg might be better. Im hoping that I won’t have what happened my last 2 pregnancies but maybe this doctor can help me better than my old doctor and I’m hoping that since this time around I’m much healthier than I was before nutrition wise so hoping that will make the difference this time. Thank you for giving me love just by commenting me❤️
I had a doctor prescribe oral progesterone right after ovulation. I got a second opinion and the doctor said I don’t need it until I get a confirmation and she will prescribe vaginal once I can confirm. I’ve had a history of chemical losses so I’m worried that by the time I get a positive home test, go to the doctor, get results, get an RX.. it will be too late. I still have my pills from the one doctor but the other won’t give me anything until a blood HCG is positive. Im so torn on what to do!!
Hello, doctor. Thank you for the information. I haven't had any abortion and this is my first pregnancy. There's no evidence for risk and my gyno prescribed me dydrogesteron. It is safe for the baby? It is not risky?
If using Clomid could progesterone potentially be beneficial or not change anything? My previous OB prescribed me progesterone with my first pregnancy due to previous loss but my current OB says she doesn’t prescribe progesterone. I’m on my third cycle of Clomid and had a miscarriage last month.
So I had a partial thyroidectomy two years ago. My husband and I had been trying for a third child for a year. My thyroid levels have been optimal for the past six months because I have been on medication. However, I just became pregnant and my fertility doctor put me on vaginal progesterone right away. We measured my levels and the estradiol and progesterone. We’re both still much lower than he wanted to see. So now I am on even more pedestrian orally and vaginally as well as an oral estrogen pill. My worry is how do I know that these supplements will be enough for me to continue growing this baby successfully? My doctor doesn’t think I need to retest since he put me on the medication.
I noticed that many of the studies used progesterone in vaginal creme versus an oral route. Is there a benefit of one versus the other, particularly in the luteal phase versus pregnancy?
I had a positive pregnancy test on Mothers Day, just to find out it was my third chemical pregnancy- which makes me wonder if there’s a problem with implantation- potentially due to insufficient progesterone.. what are your thoughts on progesterone supplementation for recurrent chemical pregnancies?
I would try to improve the egg and sperm quality first. Eating healthy, taking supplements (also Q10), exercising, no alcohol/ smoking/ drugs of course for BOTH of you. Weight is also important.
I have pcos and I’m a little over 6 weeks pregnant. Last week my ultrasound only showed an empty sac and was measuring at 4 weeks. I’m taking progesterone suppositories. So now I’m wondering, do I have a blighted ovum… is the progesterone keeping my body from miscarrying even though I don’t have a viable pregnancy? I have no symptoms just sore breasts and neck acne. I have another ultrasound next week but not feeling hopeful. If I stop the progesterone will the miscarriage occur faster? My HCG levels were doubling but my progesterone levels started at 21 and went down to 17 which is when I started the suppository.
Same. Had empty sac and actually my body started getting rid of it. Then the doctor in the hospital decided to give progesteron to keep the sac. Well the sac was kept and grew, but still empty. Had to have it scratched out. No comments
I have had one miscarriage last year with no bleeding and currently pregnant next time as last. My netropath started progesterone as soon as i had pregnancy confirmation. Best methood for success? Any advice
My breasts have been so sore ,tender , sensitive, heavy . 10 days before my period. Then about 5 days after my period it started again. So sensitive , tender, Heavy , had some tingling one day. My next period is 5 days away. What could the cause be? I've done a pregnancy test about 7 days post period. My skin is breaking out terribly too, and sothese pimples are so painful. I've also occasionally had some stinging pain close to my abdomen/pelvis like a stitch kind of sensation. Also had some bad headaches this past Saturday , and a small one Sunday
Good Morning Dr. Crawford, I am 7 weeks pregnant with a Hx of Miscarriages. I was placed on 200 mg of progesterone, vaginally once every night at bedtime on 11/29. I started spotted on and off since then. On 12/16 my OB suggested I take them orally once a day. I have been spotting a little more now and passing clots but my labs came back normal except for a small trace of leukocytes, My HCG Beta’s are showing rising levels. Progesterone blood test was 18.1 NG/ml on 12/16.Ultrasound is showing no hemorrhaging and fetal heart tones were detected. I’ve had almost every kind of miscarriage and I am scared. The bleeding has became a little more persistent however I am not in any pain. I have been advised to pelvic rest and continue the progesterone at the same dosage. Is there anything different I should be doing?
I am in the same situation. I am on progesterone and baby aspirin. I spotting off and on for a couple of weeks now. Last week, I had my first ultrasound and found out that I have a subchroniac hemorrhagic. My baby’s heartbeat was strong. They think the bleeding and spotting was from the subchroniac hemorrhage. They said that it doesn’t hurt the baby. I am going in for a second ultrasound in a couple of weeks.
Never had a miscarriage before but I’m about 6weeks 1day pregnant today and my blood test showed mine is at a 5.2 where it should be 11-44 so my dr started my on progesterone yesterday I’ve never had this happen with my other 4 pregnancy’s so I’m trying so hard to not freak out
I did do progesterone suppositories 400mg (200 twice day)starting 2dpo-11dpo and stopped when negative preg tests and it delayed my period for like a month and a half, had Wierd random clots a few weeks after I was supposed to start period. And the next round after my regular period came back, 3 days after ovulation I cut it to 200mg/ day progesterone suppositories and same thing happened hand wierd clotting started 3dpo and stopped 13dpo then same thing happens Wierd dark brown clottty period about 2 weeks after period was supposed to start. So I’m gonna wait another cycle to get my regular red period back before starting my letrozole for next cycle. Could I have not had my period start a few days after stopping the progesterone due to my estrogen not being high enough? (Noting that my progesterone day 20 blood test was 12, so maybe I don’t need the suppositories after ovulation? Unsure if I should keep doing the progesterone after ovulation to cover my bases, scared to have another miscarriage if cause was because I needed progesterone support after ovulation)
@@Sweetideasxoxo I’m now 10 weeks 3 days pregnant 🙌💕. The cycle I got pregnant I had a new fertility specialist and he had me on 100mg progesterone starting right after ovulation and I did letrozole 5mg, also this doc did a natural killer cell blood test on me and I was high. This caused my last 2 pregnancy losses. So now I’m doing ivig monthly infusions. I feel so greatful to be here after more than 2 years and heavily got into nutrition to also improve my egg quality, my lining and lower any possible inflammation I took that extremely serious. I used this clindamycin phosphate and nicotinamide gel for my faceacne. i dont know that time im pregnant.5weeks i started bleeding.this gel is create miscarriage..
Hi do you or anyone have any advise on short luteul phase? I have tried diet, supplements, progesterone cream awaiting an appointment with the fertility clinic!
How short are you talking about? Mine is usually 10 days, which my doctor claims is normal, but everywhere else says it should be 11+ days. I am looking for advice too
Me too. I live in CA and have Kaiser. What about you? It’s so frustrating to hear all these other women having their levels checked and receiving treatment when my doctors act like it’s just a placebo effect and dismiss my concerns
thank you for talking about this topic, I just had a doubt, my gynecologist prescribed vaginal progesterone after the second miscarriage to be taken after the 3rd day of ovulation tested with clearblue, the dose is 2 eggs in the morning and 2la evening each of them is 200mg, I wanted to know if they are not too many as a dosage and if it is better to have complete intercourse before or after placing the egg, it is not clear to me.
Hello, I have PCOS and after 15 years I got my first pregnancy + but 2 weeks ago I had a miscarriage, can I take progesterone before I try to conceive again
My doctor prescribed me progesterone 200mg 2x daily (vag. sup). I am supposed to start 5 to 7 days after confirmed ovulation. Based on my premom app, I ovulated on Nov. 6th. Does that mean I can start on either Nov. 11, 12 or 13?
Whats the difference between vaginal and oral progesterone ? I was just placed on oral 200mg due to low level my progesterone dropped from 13.2 to 8.6 with no vaginal bleeding no severe cramps or back pain?

how to now I am having progesterone miscarriages
@@Sweetideasxoxo based on the video, I believe you should start it 3 days after ovulation.
Sorry u went through that and happy everything is going well thus far and pray that it continues to go well!
Your story seems similar to mine. Please may I know what kind of progesterone supplement you are taking
When did you try after your miscarriage
@natalie crawford, Wow, what an incredible video! 🌟
Your talent and passion shine through every frame, and I'm in awe of the effort and creativity you put into this. It's evident that you pour your heart and soul into your content, and it truly shows. Nice one.
Thank you!!
Thanks for the information, I recently had threatened abortion and I am
Now using crinone vaginal gel 8%. This is my first pregnancy for 8 yrs of ttc so I’m praying hard for safe pregnancy journey.
Has any difference been seen with taking oral progesterone vs. vaginal progesterone?
@@Akobby155 Thank You!
@@t.i.f.f.a.n.y_mI hope all is well, can we get an update?
@Ni2416 Yes, unfortunately the pregnancy didn't stick and resulted in a miscarriage.
Update?
I also believe that natural progesterone is sourced from natural occurring, bioavailable plants like yams/sweet potatoes, vs. lab made.
@emilypoole3898 thank you for this reply! I was wondering the same.
How can this medicine help me since i have pcos ?
Thank you so much for this information. My OB prescribed 100mg vaginal progesterone for the first time , for me to use it as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test, I had 4 miscarriages since Dec, 2022. Now I’m ovulating and we’re gonna try to Convince this time again. This was very helpful because I can actually start progesterone as soon as I’m done ovulating. Thank you so much .
This was so very useful, thank you very much, Natalie ❤
Glad it was helpful!
If an embryo is abnormal, will progesterone supplements prevent it from miscarrying?
I had the same question.
I’ve been curious about this too!
Glad to hear that!
I was 2.4 cm last Monday when I went to the doc and I started progesterone that same night and today Monday when I went back to the doc, I'm now 3.1 cm...I'm so happy. I'm not stopping it no time soon❤

What if you're diagnosed with incompetent cervix, will a cervical cerclage, and progesterone suppository help?
Are there any down sides to taking progesterone?
Is taking it for precaution okey?
Thank you
What is the use of depot progesterone preparation alongwith oral or vaginal progesterone? And do those drugs have any teratogenic effect?
Also, my estradiol level at 5 1/2 weeks was 95. My doctor said this is very low, I’m on estrogen now, but I’m very worried that it’s too late.
How is about Premature Progesterone Rise as 5ng/ml before Ovulation and what to do and and 31.2 ng/mL on CD 22 and next day 48ng/mL on CD23? Thanks
My dr thought said I might be having a miscarriage and when I took my hcg they didn't even offer to check progestrone again. I think they should always check progestrone when checking ur first hcg. And they should give u results that same day. My dr didn't do that and also I had to wait 3 days! For results. Such bs.
I have only one alive after 8 early miscarriages. My doctor gave me progestrone with Hcg shots upto first trimester.

Do you have any opinions about synthetic vs. bioidentical progesterone?

Thank you for priceless info!!! If my 21st day progesterone is 33.21 nmol/L, would vaginal progesterone suppositories help get pregnant? All blood work is good with confirmed ovulation....I tried 100mg morning and 100mg night vaginal progesterone starting on day 3 after ovulation, but got negative pregnancy test on day 14 and stopped to get period. Do you think it's better to try 200mg morning and 200mg night for luteal phase support? 🙏
Which brand do you recommend for woman with low progesterone where the baby doesn’t stick?

Taking any hormones during pregnancy sounds like a very dangerous thing to me. Have we already forgotten what happened with the DES disaster?!!!
That’s synthetic estrogen
Bio identical progesterone is very different 😊
What about taking 200 mg of PO prometrium? can that help like the suppositories?
My cervix is coming out a bit short. I'm currently pregnant. I was prescribed an oral pill of progesterone (but told to place it in my vagina as a suppository). Is that normal? I feel weird putting an oral progesterone pill in my vagina when the instructions say take it orally.
This is what my fertility has me doing - oral progesterone inserted vaginally. The pharmacist says she sees this regularly.
Hi Doctor! Do you think this is also applicable if you don’t have vaginal bleeding, but you do have cramps?
Is taking the capsules beneficial or would you recommend taking the vaginal over capsules? My doctor put me on the capsules bag in June of this year and I still haven’t conceived

I have pcos pregnancy...can I take progesterone in ist trimester
Any updates on your situation @kazmatthews3749 ?
I’m taking NAc and folate prenatals,
Sorry to hear your loss, hope you are seeing light at the end of tunnel. Was wondering what sort of strategy you are going ahead with now?
Thank you for giving me love just by commenting me❤️
How long should you take progesterone? The whole pregnancy?
I had a doctor prescribe oral progesterone right after ovulation. I got a second opinion and the doctor said I don’t need it until I get a confirmation and she will prescribe vaginal once I can confirm. I’ve had a history of chemical losses so I’m worried that by the time I get a positive home test, go to the doctor, get results, get an RX.. it will be too late. I still have my pills from the one doctor but the other won’t give me anything until a blood HCG is positive. Im so torn on what to do!!
Are there any risks to starting progesterone in those w recurrent miscarriage?
I know it can stop your body from miscarrying once you have a loss.
I was 8 weeks pregnant but the doctor gave me a progesterone table without check my HCG level and then ( 4-6day)I have miscarriage
Vaginal is standard (either the oral pill placed vaginal or a suppository)
I was told by my GYN that the vaginal route makes the drug absorb faster and to be closer to the target
This is why my doc has me taking progesterone. Two chemical pregnancies, just started progesterone on day of ovulation this month.
I would try to improve the egg and sperm quality first. Eating healthy, taking supplements (also Q10), exercising, no alcohol/ smoking/ drugs of course for BOTH of you. Weight is also important.
I ovoluted at 11 night of cycle can i take progesterone from 12 day of cycle.
Hi, what about if you have a short luteal phase (also on letrozole), but now doing IVF, should you use progesterone after a fresh transfer?
Thank u so much for the grateful information 🥰love you ❤
You are so welcome!
Thank you x 100!! Great explanation with studies to back it up 🫶🏽🫶🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I have pcos and I’m a little over 6 weeks pregnant.
No comments

Hi do you or anyone have any advise on short luteul phase? I have tried diet, supplements, progesterone cream awaiting an appointment with the fertility clinic!
I have short luteal phase and my fertility dr just prescribed progesterone to start taking orally at 3dpo!
How short are you talking about? Mine is usually 10 days, which my doctor claims is normal, but everywhere else says it should be 11+ days. I am looking for advice too
Why are doctots so reluctant to even check progesterone? Nevermind prescribe it! All the ones i see say it doesnt help!
Me too. I live in CA and have Kaiser. What about you? It’s so frustrating to hear all these other women having their levels checked and receiving treatment when my doctors act like it’s just a placebo effect and dismiss my concerns
What day of the month can you start taking progesterone for 7 days is it prefer to take it on the 21st of each month or on the 15th each month?
Thankyou
I had a embryo transfer on 15th, my progesterone was only 11 so my dose increased the day after transfer - is it already too late to be saved?
thank you for talking about this topic, I just had a doubt, my gynecologist prescribed vaginal progesterone after the second miscarriage to be taken after the 3rd day of ovulation tested with clearblue, the dose is 2 eggs in the morning and 2la evening each of them is 200mg, I wanted to know if they are not too many as a dosage and if it is better to have complete intercourse before or after placing the egg, it is not clear to me.
After 1st pregnant successful using progesterone
Will i still need to use it for 2 pregnancy?
Hello, I have PCOS and after 15 years I got my first pregnancy + but 2 weeks ago I had a miscarriage, can I take progesterone before I try to conceive again
Add my tight blood is A negative
Wow, you look like my doppelganger, Lol.
Yes! Yes, because my X wife’s body didnt produce enough until finally that was discovered etc.
I would inject it daily! Yes, daily!
The difference is vaginal progesterone works faster that’s why I heard ! Good luck
