I'd not had periods for a year but my symptoms were horrendous, my male GP put me on Femostan - after 5 years I finally saw a lovely GP who said as I'm overweight and 52 that I shouldn't be on Femostan, and that I'd had my fair share of periods so put on on the continuous regime with oestrogel - oh my goodness, the difference is incredible! I absolutely love this new HRT and feel like a new woman again

@@custardgirl I was awful in it also after a few months I was worse off. My inkh symtons were tiredness and irregular periods. Now I am in the Estradiol and Progesterone and felt awful. Waiting in a priavte consultant as there does not seem to be a right answer.. I have since developed loud tinnitus. Glad you see feeling better. I am hoping the right HRt will take the tinnitus away x

I wanted to change how I was taking my HRT but my GP didn’t know any other variation snd so referred me to a Gynaecology Clinic with a minimum 4 month waiting list. Brilliant video. I’ve been nearly 3 weeks on Everol 50 patches and day 5 of Progesterone. This morning the side effect were awful and i could barely function/think on the school run. I phoned surgery and got a call from the duty doctor who really didn’t have a clue. I asked if i could take it vaginally, and he said he’d never heard of that, and gave me something synthetic. Needless to say i’m going to start it vaginally tonight instead of orally and get a second opinion. Its never good when you know more about what you are asking for than the gp does! Its so frustrating.

I had a similar experience, I have a mirena coil fitted which it has progesterone, I was on patches with progesterone - not needed!! My GP didn't even ask about the coil I sorted it out myself! Now I take 100 estrogen only patches.
What are they paying these GPs so much for when they don't learn the basics!!!

Thank you very much for this. I've been on a regime of oestrogel and Utrogestan for around six months following early menopause due to chemotherapy.
I'm very sensitive to progesterone emotionally and wish I didn't have to take it but your video was reassuring that in time it may become more tolerable. It's good to hear that dropping the dose cyclically is also an option.

So you had cancer and chemo and yet are allowed to get onto HRT? I want to as well but my GP refused to prescribe me. Chemo messed up my periods and now I am also post menopausal. May I know if your cancer was hormone positive or negative? Thanks.

Few months ago, another GP (female who specializes in women and sexual health did prescribe oral Prometrium and estradiol patches and I was on it for about two months but the side effects were so so bad I had to stop everything and let the hormones clear from my body.
After that I felt way better and then I decided to try IUD (by another female GP) but the progesterone in it actually does travel around the body but to a lesser degree. I actually feel the side effects - tiredness, jittery, anxiety and the worst is brain fog... I thought HRT will help me with post menopausal symptoms but it (here it is Progesterone in the IUD) actually seems to make me worse. I am currently not on any estradiol patches as the side effects are awful even on low dose. I think I am very sensitive to the hormones.

Excellent video and my GP virtually explained the same way which is comforting, I agree about the leaflet inside you can tell pharmaceuticals are covering their butts for all side affects known to man 😀 . I agree with your 4 x B side affects amd mine are mild, I am a continual HRT taker and it’s been a life saver, getting sleep has mended other issues like anxiety, interesting that people said groggy in the morning glad I am not alone I feel this but having sleep out ways this, love the support this Chanel gives , people can cherry pick ❤️🙏

A video on the alternatives would be fantastic! Finding a GP that knows about HRT is hard enough finding one that knows about alternatives (other than a coil) is impossible! Like me, I'm sure there are lots of women that want cruelty free medicines and not just homeopathic remedies as alternatives but don't know where to find the information when the GP doesn't even know :(
Indeed, I was thinking the same, why can't they use a gelatin alternative etc anyway? I had no idea they weren't vegetarian /vegan?!
I have soy sensitivity which is pretty common! Super common matter of fact! Tons of us won’t be able to use this!
I was taking 2x100mg cyclical orally in the evening,this literally tranquillised me,which is obviously good for knocking you out to sleep but I felt bit foggy in the morning and it caused PMT and headaches..so my specialist recommended 1x100mg vaginally at night cyclically,so no sedation and closer to womb as I take Estrogel also,this helped reduce pmt and headaches.Thank you for this detailed video it’s a massive help as not all GPs are trained in HRT menopause and for people who can’t afford private care.

I tried this with the gel, and I had awful depression, my boobs were really sore, & I had a continuous smelly discharge!

I've been using it since 2011 but have never been able to tolerate it daily.
And me…. Waking up feeling yuk and I could cry at the least thing….. going to stick with it though
@@rubyturner8978 I take it for 12 days every other month and have a short withdrawal bleed. It works far better for me maintaining a cycle and having several weeks on oestrogen only.

Thank you, I started this nearly three weeks ago and have had all the side effects mentioned including feeling groggy in the morning, but they are just starting to ease in the last couple of days so don't give up .
How are you doing now? Would be interested to hear if the side effects are now negligible.
@@essanjay8604 Unfortunately I did continue to have some side effects, so I switched to using the capsules vaginally and that is a lot better

My GP has been infuriatingly useless and non committal to the point of ignoring my HRT needs. When I asked the NHS gynaecologist why the uterus was thicker - she said she couldn’t answer that. The NHS continues to follow outdated procedures re addressing patient concerns and mark their own homework - this siloed working does not suit the patient. It is like speaking to an alien about MY BODY which makes me feel really uncomfortable. I paid privately to have an adult conversation about my post menopausal problems and options. I came on here and the answers are all here. Thank you….I am going to try every other night and hope the 12 week bleed I had from a polyp has gone as they removed it yesterday!

This is very useful. I'm struggling with Utrogestan, in fact any progesterone I've had over the years. I've tried taking it orally 200mg for 14 days, vaginally for 14 days. Now taking 100mg for 25 days....2 weeks in and I still feel dreadful. After watching this I will see a specialist to ask if I can take it every other night.
I took utrogestan for 8 months alongside estrogel. I took it at night 3-4 hours after eating. I was like a zombie in the mornings. I started taking in the morning, and that was better for about 5 weeks then I started getting anxiety. I carried on a few months. Tried it vaginally, continuously. Nothing took the anxiety away. .I'm now on patches which seem to suit me better so far
I used to take mine in the morning ans didnt realise they were meant to take at night. I started at night and used the one a day method for 25 days and 5 days off I felt like my head was starting to fry. It was awful. I may ask about patches x
How is your anxiety now? I was taking the utrogestan, both ways but am sensitive to progesterone. So on evorel conti patches. The anxiety and panic attacks are awful, I’m hoping it goes soon 🤞🏻 I hope you’re well now.

I always believed that Oestrogen was the tranquilising hormone however Dr Ball says that progesterone can be calming.

So you break the capsule open & swallow the liquid? I was wondering about this too. Don't want the gelatin coating.

Thank you for the video - I have beside me now a pack of utrogestan and evorel 50 patches - and I don't know what to do with either really - I have irregular periods, maybe one every two or three months....so do I just slap on the hrt patch and then in fifteen days take the utrogestan? Or do I put the patch on and then take the tablets tonight - my last day of bleeding was about a week ago!
I have taken this alongside Oestrogel for around 8 months now. I think I have thrush, is it safe to take a Fluconazole tablet while taking Utrogestan and Oestrogel? I used internal Canesten but still feel sore and uncomfortable. Thank you
Picked up my HRT prescription today , Evorel patches and Utrogestan to take for 12 days. Question - is I’m on day 1 of my cycle so will need to wait to start Utrogestan until day 15 but should I start straight away with the patches or wait to start them both together ? Thanks
Thank you so much, this has been very helpful. Started Utrogestan a week ago and only side effect so far is being very groggy first thing on a morning, but enjoying sleeping better through the night than I did before HRT.

Thank you for this video. I have been on the Depo-Provera injection for around 20 years, and the last two months have been on 2 pumps Oeastrogel and two Utrogestan tablets on days 15 to 26. As I have not had a period during my time on the Depo injection, would I really begin to have a cycle and start having periods? I’m now 49.
Hi, thanks for your informative video. I am just about to start HRT for the first time (am 57) and have been given Utrogeston 100 and Lenzetto transdermal spray. It looks like I should be taking the Utrogestan in the evening - can I use the Lenzetto in the morning or should both be taken together in the evening?
Estradiol in the morning, progesterone in the evening - mimics the natural production throughout the day.
I’m so confused now. I’m Peri menopause and was on Everol Sequi and my GP has now put me on Everol 100 and advised me to take one tablet Utrogestan 100 from day 14. I picked up my medication yesterday and it also says one tablet but take on days 17-28. The leaflet inside advises 2 tablets beginning day 15 ending day 26. I will call my GP first thing to confirm. I tried utrogestan and it really did not agree with me in any way at all and def didn't help me sleep and hurt my stomach. So I got a progesterone cream instead and it's brill.. I'm on that and oestrogen gel and all good and you can control it. If oestrogen can be absorbed through a gel so can progesterone. Deffo works for me.

I sincerely would have a soundscan asap to check if the womb lining isn't thickened. Transdermal progesteron is very difficult to absorb and if you're not taking up enough the womb lining will thickened. Setting the stage for endometrial cancer.

This was so well explained. Thank you so much. I’m having difficulties swallowing them even with gallons of water and then feel as if they are stuck in my throat and cause a heartburn like situation. I wonder if I could use vaginally as I don’t need the sedative or anti depressant effect. I need them purely for womb protection as mirena coil has passed the four year mark where it releases the hormone. It’s really horrible to take. Can I be sure that inserting vaginally will be effective? Any comments or suggestions very helpful. Thank you again.
You can insert vaginally. I too can't swallow big pills or capsules & my friend told me she had horrible heart burn from the capsules.
The Marina coil is now approved for up to 7 years in the US, and my menopause specialist believes it will probably be extended to 10 years. So you're probably fine not taking extra progesterone until you go see your doctor
I started HRT Estrogen two weeks ago and Progesterone I week ago vaginally but got Trush my taking it that way so now have started taking it orally I hope I don't get side effects. Also I was prescribed only two weeks of it even though I have had no periods for a few years I think I should be on continues
Hello, thank you for such an informative video. I have just been prescribed Oestrogel 2 pumps per day and Utrogestan 2 x 100mg for 14 days. I have not had a period since June. I am planning to start the Utrogestan this evening. So would I take it for 14 days, then 14 days without, then 14 days on again? Is it a continuous cycle of 14 days, even if a calendar month is 31? I hope this makes sense? Thank you
I have exactly the same question. Just starting oestrogel today and was told to wait to start utrogestan on first day of next oeroid day 1 to 14 then 14 data off. Won't run a typical monthly cycle.

Hi...I started the gel 10 days ago and I'm on the same cycle as you starting Utrogestan 2 x 100mg orally on the 14th day of the gel and take it til 28 day of the cycle (which is 15 day)... the only answer they could not give me if I need to have a gap of the Oestrogel or to use it continuously? So confusing. I'm feeling bloated and having stomach cramps really bad ones literally every day all day long..its really depressing,don't want to go to work...breathing really heavily gtom this bloating :(
I'm taking Utrogestan on a cyclical pattern. I take my first two tablets at night, two hours after my last meal. I take it for 14 days (then the packet runs out), 14 days off the tablet ,(when you would re-order). It doesn't matter how many days in the month, start it as soon as you get it and mark the days on the calendar

I'm 32 weeks pregnant, and was diagnosed with a shortened cervix at 27 weeks. Dr put me on utrogestan twice daily to help prevent preterm labor. I was leaking colostrum and it has now stopped. Can progesterone in Hugh doses effect my milk supply when my babies are born?

Unfortunately had to stop HRT because I'm just a psycho moody mess on utrogestan, orally or pv, cyclic or continuous and have also tried an alternative brand of progesterone with same effect. It seems to trigger PMDD sx in me. I'm lucky I recognised it in time to save my life and my marriage.
Iv been on a merry go round for 18 months now with all the different combinations and I’m still on fire at night . It’s so annoying and all those side affects. Some of them literally put me to bed with the sickness

I have been on HRT for three months now - Evorel 25 and 200 mg Utrogestan capsules.
I put a patch on each Friday night, then change to a new patch each Monday night.
I was told by my GP to take the Utrogestan for 12 days, day 1 to 12 of each month, as easier to remember.
When I first started this treatment I didn't have a period at all, even though I had had regular short periods before. I did have a period in the second month but I am now awaiting my third period which is very late. Is this normal? I must also add that I now suffer with back pain and cramping leading up to a period whether it happens or not. This is something new to me as I didn’t suffer with any period pain previously.
In addition, I do suffer with very sensitive breasts, I actually wince if I brush them accidentally.
On a more positive note, my sleeping has improved greatly and the majority of my aches and pains have gone away, meaning that I have a new found confidence in joining a gym.
I am just concerned about the frequency of my periods plus breast tenderness.

I was prescribed this medication by my GP, is it safe for someone who has fibroids and has had a polyp removed from my whom? I read the leaflet inside and it made me so scared.😔
What are other body identical options as I'm currently experiencing a sourcing issue locally as its not available. These tablets work really well for me and I'm feeling anxious about it not being available.

I am on Evorel 75 and Utrogestan capsules, but have recently asked my NHS GP about Prochieve sustained release micronised progesterone gel, which I understand can be used as HRT in the 4% version and this avoids taking the higher dose of progesterone that is necessary in an oral capsule, due to much of it being metabolised. I have had some side effects and therefore would prefer to be on a lower dose. Also, I hope to be able to continue on HRT as long as possible and therefore it seems sensible to be on the lowest possible dose of progesterone. My GP says he will not prescribe Prochieve, as it is not licensed, however, he has referred me to a Menopause Clinic. I understand his point of view, but from what I have read, this seems to be a very safe way of taking body identical progesterone. Is the reason the NHS has not licensed it down to cost? I wondered what your view of Prochieve gel was. Thanks.
I tried Prochieve but quite honestly it was messier and no more convenient than simply using Utrogestan capsules vaginally every other day.
@@essanjay8604 Thanks. It's good to know that it's available. I know it is likely to be messier and less convenient, but my main concern is the strength of the dose of Utrogestan, as it needs to be stronger if taken orally. Therefore, even if I use it vaginally, I am taking a higher dose than I need to. If I can get a type of micronised progesterone that is a much lower dose, I would be happier taking it and especially so in the longer term. I'm willing to put up with the inconvenient method of use. Prochieve gel is, I understand, a much lower dose that provides the same level of uterine protection.
This doctor says you would only insert one of the capsules into your vagina rather than two, so having a lower dose that way
Sorry this is an old thread but could you tell me if you tried the Prochieve as I have problems with utrogestan both ways taking it. I don’t want mirena so the only way I feel is to come off HRT. I have tried cyclogest also.

I’ve just started with utrogestan 100mg and the gel. It’s only been a couple of days and haven’t seen any difference yet. How are you getting on with it? Have you noticed any weight gain? Also which gel are you using?

I started to notice a difference after 2.5 Weeks. The biggest change I am having is sleep. I have not slept through the night or had a comfortable sleep for 3 years. I can’t believe I am sleeping and it feels great.
I can’t say I have noticed any change with any thing else.
I am still feeling a little Flat, no sex drive, dryness and aches.
My doctor has increased the gel to two pumps with a view to review it in 3 months time.
I can’t say i have seen any weight gain, fingers crossed.
I am taking two pumps of the Oestrogel. The GP is more than happy to increase the pumps if needed.

I'm 30 and take Utrogestan and Sandrena for PMDD. It really doesn't work that well for me; I have extreme tiredness during the day and often have to sleep for much longer, as I can't bear how exhausted I am.
Thank you very much for this info. I am glad i found you. I can only get the round white Prometrium gelatin caps where I live, but i have a big problem with them. I have taken them for 2 months now, orally, but after one hour i feel totally drugged and dizzy unable to even walk, and i get nightmares during the night and cannot get back to sleep, once i wake up. I cannot continue like that. My MD or pharmacist have no clue what to do. I tried the vaginal route, but i think they did not absorb, because the next day there was a white creamy discharge on my panty. I read somewhere that these round hard shelled caps can also be used rectally. Do you suggest that? Would it help to pierce the round capsule open before inserting, so it gets absorbed better. Thank for any reply.

This wrecks me when taken orally. I can not sleep at all,fuzzy in the head and feel like I am brain damaged the next day . Anxious and nervous. Tried them vaginaly and felt pretty good. When I started to inform my doc I was doing this she would not even let me speak and basically said orally only, she won't budge on the licensing. And wont even listen to my side effects. She then put on the tablet form saying the low dose was better for me...I had the worst night ever and have sat in a chair literally all day in pain and so so tired . I am going to see a natural path dr . And don't worry about the white discharge it is the pill casing that the vagina releases and the oil packed progestrone stays in the vagina and the uterus where it belongs. Progesterone does nothing for osteoporosis. If you don't have a uterus you don't need progesterone since it's only action is preventing endometrial cancer

Thank you. It's all so confusing. I've just switched from patches to oestrogel and utrogestan. I messed the first month of my patches up due to confusing instructions. Then I get utrogestan and it says day 15 to day 27. It's bad enough having a perimenopause brain let alone confusing instructions 😂

@@victoriasantangelo I'm in my 6th month and this is the best I've felt in years. I do 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off on the utrogestan, that's the usual regime if you're still having periods. Unless you're on continuous progesterone.

@@salvinabel Are you still having periods? It appears that you are on continuous HRT, which I'm on now. It's where you do have oestrogen and progesterone every day, usually when your periods have stopped or your doctor has chosen that continuous HRT is your treatment due to your age or other reasons. All women eventually end up on continuous without breaks , it's to try and eliminate monthly bleeds because no woman wants periods after menopause, though in the early days you can gets a bit of bleeding but it should settle down.
Is 100 mg of vaginal Utrogestan every other day enough to suppress the lining of uterus and not cause early breakthrough bleeding . It sounds ideal 100 mg every other dayl because I'm quite intolerable to progesterone. Thanks
Why wouldn't pv utrogestan be the primary choice? It's getting the drug directly to where it is needed, without the guesswork of how each individual will digest and metabolise the drug? We all have different gut biomes and different versions of liver enzymes.....seems to me this approach could take some of that guesswork out of the equation. I don't need anything to zap my energy, as I don't have enough to go around, I also dont need sonething that makes me moodier than I already am. I am now changing from Evorel Sequi back to the gel and Utrogestan. Information from various GPs has been hit and miss. I have an appointment with HRT specialist in August but need to know now how to transtion. I have one patch left which should be put on tonight. side effects have been so bad I don't think I can face it. Do I stop now and go straight in with gel and then wait for a bleed to start Utrogestan (vaginally) or take a Utrogestan to REPLACE the progestrogen in the patch (up until I would normally start a new pack of patches? there is literally no adivce, no one at surgery seems to know and he Menopause Matters website seems to be down...
If you're going to start estrogen gel, you should make sure you were opposing it with progesterone. At least until you've had a chance to discuss it further with the menopause specialist.
I seem to only sleep well when I'm on the days where I am taking both hormones and unfortunately that's the symptom I struggle with the most. With that improve with time? I only started HRT a couple of months ago.
Bio-identical progesterone does so much more than is explained in this video. It helps protect the brain, the heart, the breasts, the skin and helps the body use fuel for energy instead of laying it down as fat, and the list goes on. Though oestrogen helps slow down resorption of bone minerals, progesterone helps build new bone helping prevent osteoporosis and its associated fractures. Long before menopause the production of oestrogen drops by 40-60% but progesterone production drops to almost zero. With a normal menopause the adrenal glands take over production of oestrogen and our fat cells produce it as well creating an imbalance. There are also what are called xenoestrogens in the environment that add to the imbalance. With a surgical menopause, which happens after a hysterectomy, hormones are lost immediately and progesterone is needed just as much as for those going through a natural menopause.
Sorry, I don't think that Dr. Newsom would agree with this. Progesterone's only real purpose is to support pregnancy and keep the lining of your uterus from growing out of control and becoming cancerous when estrogen is present. I know there are a lot of naturopathic doctors who tout what you're saying here, but those are the same people who are prescribing unregulated compounded hormones.

Loz, the patch is actually a progestin which is synthetic. There’s no progesterone in it. I’m switching over because of this very reason. Progestins can cause problems in the body.
I was wondering the exact same thing I’ve been on the combined patches for nearly four months and on the whole working well but from what I’m hearing the utrogestan tablet is safer but don’t want to feel crap after feeling good on the patches

I have a strange question and wondered if anyone has found the same thing; I am taking Utrogestran orally, but because the tablets are so hard and round I find that they get stuck in my throat, for ages! Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice? Thank you!
Yes, I agree with Sharon (and you!). I have to drink quite a few gulps of water to make sure they wash down. I think it's because of the neat round shape that they get stuck in the throat, most other medication is ovoid. Just drink more water than you would normally.
Make sure you take it with a. Cold drink not a warm one
I've never had a problem taking tablets....except for these. They are a choking hazard!

Take the progesterone at night, take the estrogen whenever you want but at the same time daily. Most people get more benefit from having more estrogen during the day so do better taking it in the morning
I have been asked to change from Femoston to Evorel 50 and Utrogestan. My issue is the gelatin in the Utrogestan. Does anyone know of a UK permitted vegan version of body identical progesterone?
I started on 2 pumps Oestrogel and continuous Utrogestan 12 months ago and had no side effects from the Utrogestan. Because of the gel shortage I was changed to Evorel Conti 3 months ago but after 5 weeks I started with light bleeds which last 5-7 days and I have them every other week. I am finding the patches suit me apart from the bleeding. Before HRT I hadn’t had a period for 5 years. I’m thinking of asking to swap to Evorel 50 patch plus Utrogestan or maybe taking Utrogestan with Evorel Conti, is it possible to do this? My GP has hardly any knowledge on HRT/menopause so I feel I have to find out as much information as I can before speaking with him. Thank you for your informative video.

I’ve been using the utrogestan x 2, vaginally for 8 months on days 15-26. When I started taking it counting the days on my cycle, that was fine. Since then I keep getting intermittent bleeding/spotting and my period arrived whilst I was on the utrogestan. I’m in a complete muddle as to what I should do! My oestrogel dose has just increased to 3 pumps a month ago. Is there anything else I should do?

@@user-pg3tu8oo7n I was told to increase to 3 utro for 3 months. It definitely helped. But I’m also now on 5 pumps oestrogel. The bleeding has returned so it’s been suggested I try 2 utro on day 1-21 so I get a week off to bleed but will hopefully control the constant spotting better. I can’t comment on that as I start that regime next week. I also use my utro vaginally as I can’t tolerate progesterone when taking it by mouth. Hope that helps
I'm spotting and bleeding on the mireena coil and 100mg estadot, menopause clinic suggested a scan a d if all normal then said I should take utragetran to help with my bleeding and sleep anxiety
My gp has put me on utrogeston and oestrogel, however after watching your video I’m confused, my gp has told me to take 1 utrogeston daily for 25 days then have a 3 day break, plus 2 pumps of oestrogel daily. I still have periods that are mostly regular, so should I have been put on cyclical rather than continuous? I’d really appreciate any advice. :)

Here from the US- age 44z I still have regular monthly cycles, but have had breakthrough bleeding 7-10 days before my period (this has happened since age 35!), and very heavy, long periods, history of fibroids and suspected endo. But the most debilitating symptom I’ve had (also for YEARS) is horrible sleep (can’t fall asleep, wake up 1 million times a night, wake up early and can’t go back to sleep). Just yesterday got Prometrium (US version of Utrogestan) at my insistence (I’ve been on and off the pill since my mid-20s and it has not helped the sleep at all). My Dr. reluctantly agreed to try me on 30 days Prometrium, but only 100 mg at night continuously, even though my periods are regular. Advice? Go back and show her this vid? Any literature I can show her that you’d recommend? Thank you in advance!
Totally confused too...I'm still having periods every 45/47 days so I thought I would be on 2 x 100g at night for first 15 days but I too have been put on 100g a day on days 1 to 25. Anyone had an update? Xx
I too have regular periods and was put on 1x100mg uttogestan days 1-25 then a 3 day break the same as you are describing but the video says 2x100mg days 15-26 of the cycle.
I get very groggy taking the utrogestan and I think I am going to change to use on day 15-26 to align the progesterone with my usual cycle
From what I can gather progesterone increases after ovulation (day 15).
Has any one had the official answer to why days 1-25 is the go to for GPs?
Maybe it is deemed easier to remember doing days 1-25 but not better in terms of the actual medical need?

Hi, i just started with Utrogestan tablet at night orally and oestrogen gel and developed very puffy eyes to.. i stopped all the meds and not sure what to do now..
@@tashtash8834 I have adjusted, it takes time. Surprisingly, I think progesterone was possibly a more challenging adjustment than anything else. I also found that my thyroid was" borderline " so the doctor prescribed armour thyroid and after a good number of weeks my puffiness went down substancially. All in all, I'm finding it has taken many months, 1+ year to get it right and my body to readjust. Don't give up , hang in there, takes a while for some of us!
Hi yes on the 3rd day of using the Utrogestan ( not taking it orally) I wake up with puffy swollen eyes and face. I'm hoping these side effects go away with time as the oestrogel part has been helping.
