I love Tara Brach’s work! Her meditations on desire and addiction have been so transformative for me. Her podcast is really good too if you’re that way inclined.
Always love to hear your thoughts! Thank you for sharing :) my piano looks very similar and functions as a shelf haha makes me feel a bit better that I am not the only one ;D all the best, Luise
Thanks Dolapo! I related to a lot of what you shared and your insights from the book give me hope that reading it could help me in my own life. Will def check it out.
Lovely to see you back, and for such an open hearted video 🫶🏻 I loved hearing about your journey. Spiritual books are so special and important to me and have taught me so much. If you want to discover more teachers, a great place to start is Oprah's super soul podcast as she has so many wise guests, from whom I've learned a lot, and then you can also read their books if they resonate with you. I would also recommend a poem by Kahlil Gibran called On Pain. It's one that I've read many many times and I think encapsulates some of what you said.

Oh thank you, Chinma! I will certainly check out her podcast 🙂
Im currently reading Your Silence Will Not Protect You and I'm highlighting a ton! So far I had only read poetry by her and I was really missing out.
Love the honesty and vulnerability you are showing us. Thanks for such an honest and relatable video! 🙏❤
Thank you!

Loved this. Please make a video discussing The Places That Scare You! I can’t wait to hear what you think :)
Will do! Thank you!
