  • Hi folks, Quick look at this guitar from Vintage, The long story short is they are still great guitars. You just need to make sure you buy them from someone who takes them to the next standard, because its the mass drop shipping that is harming the reputation of alot of more budget friendly brands.
If anyone wants this or any other guitar from Vintage contact me, i will do my very best to match the low prices of the drop shippers but youll get my full service and time put into the guitar :)
Also, if anyone is wondering do i prefer this or the Aria PE350PG. I think this is the better guitar.
Sorry about the camera on the playing parts, i set it up wrong so i have salvaged the parts its still visable! Also thanks to Paul who let me film this guitar first before taking delivery!

    Awesome Green/Moore Session ‼️

Great review and playing. Especially the Still got the blues riff at the end!! I just bought a 2020 distressed lemon drop. It's a great Greeny replica for 1/2 the price of Epiphones Greeny model which appears to be just a different set of pick ups for twice the price.....

I have one of these! It's a keeper and I need nothing more 🤟

It does have a maple cap. It’s just not a high end cut, then they veneer flame maple over that. It’s an efficient way to cut costs without sacrificing tone woods.

I own two Vintages V6P with 3 P90's and a V100 amazing guitars, I have heard about the quality issues, but I cannot slag the entire company, as with the V100 the guitar tech who set it up said as a Les Paul owner this is the real deal, Humbuckers PAF since Trevor worked with Seth Lover on the design I hope JHS Vintage listen and read the comments, word of mouth is powerful, but my two Vintages had no issues, no fret worked needed doing , just a general setup, but they are 2011 and 2017 models, there is shops here in the UK that include the setup, one is Richards Guitar and they do ship overseas and abroad, but every guitar needs a setup, find a reputable guitar tech in your area, great guitars great brand, your getting Wilkinson hardware which has a solid reputation in the industry,

I have this model which I bought second hand from a large guitar store for less than £200. It is in mint condition and was perfectly set up with a very low buzz free action which plays better than my Gibson Les Paul Tribute. My only "complaint" is that I have trouble getting a convincing middle position, out of phase Peter Green tone. I have tried twiddling(technical term!)the tone and volume pots but with little success. It's probably me...

I have a Vintage V100 Icon that I bought new in 2008. It has a plain maple cap with a flame maple veneer over it. I think the current Icons still have a maple cap. It's strange that the non Icon V100s have a carved mahogany top.

I've had 4 JHS Vintage Les Paul's two were lemondrops one was 2013 and had been upgraded with Seymour duncans whole lotta humbucker, the other was a Lemondrop 2019 model, I've also had a Vintage goldtop les Paul with wilkinson P90's and also the Vintage V100 paradise AFD Les Paul JHS make. One thing I can say is none were as good as the Epi 59 Les Paul which I now own. The Epi has a nicer neck and sounds, feels and plays better. I also do not like the compromises Vintage have had to make to the body shape of their Les Paul guitars to be able to sell them in the USA.
